# In Which Cases Would I Need To Pay VAT/Sales Tax/GST?

All prices on our website exclude VAT. Whether you pay VAT, sales tax or GST depends on how you pay and where you are.

**Card, PayPal, or bank transfer through Paddle**

Paddle is our reseller and payment processor for these payments, and its tax rules apply. They depend on your country and on whether you buy as a business or an individual. **Bank transfer directly to our company**

ProxyEmpire is run by a VAT-registered Bulgarian company, so we issue the invoice ourselves.

You **don't** pay VAT if:

- you are a VAT-registered company in the EU (outside Bulgaria),
- you are a company outside the EU (for example in the USA, China or Israel), or
- you are an individual located outside the EU.

You **do** pay VAT at your country's rate if:

- you are an individual in the EU,
- you have an EU company that isn't VAT-registered, or
- you have a Bulgarian company, whether or not it's VAT-registered.

**Cryptocurrency**
