What is e-commerce scraping?

E-commerce scraping is collecting public product data from online stores and marketplaces, such as prices, stock, shipping, ratings, reviews and product details, with a scraper instead of by hand. How to scrape online stores reliably
Five habits for clean product data
Match the shopper’s location. Set the proxy’s country and ZIP, and the store’s own delivery location, so prices, stock and shipping match the market you track.
Rotate for catalogues, stick for carts. Use a new IP per request for product and category pages, and a sticky or custom-length session when you need a cart or delivery estimate.
Mix residential and datacenter. Send protected marketplaces through residential IPs and lightly protected stores through datacenter IPs, to keep success rates high and cost per GB low.
Pace and cache. Spread requests over time, re-check prices on a schedule rather than constantly, and cache pages that don’t change.
Collect only what you need. Product fields and prices, not images and scripts, where you can. It saves bandwidth and gets you fewer blocks.
