Turkey at a glance
Why a local IP changes what you see
Turkey (Türkiye) is one of the largest online markets between Europe and the Middle East, and most of it is built for local visitors. Search results on Google.com.tr, prices on Trendyol and Hepsiburada, listings on Sahibinden and the ads served to Turkish users all depend on where the request comes from. A German or Greek IP often gets a different page, a different price in a different currency, or no page at all.
Turkish sites also check what kind of network a visitor is on. Several of the biggest marketplaces block unfamiliar traffic before the page even loads, and requests from a data centre are the first to be stopped. Traffic from a Türk Telekom or Turkcell Superonline home connection looks like an ordinary Turkish customer, because that is what it is.
| Fact | Figure | Why it matters for proxy work |
|---|---|---|
| Population | 86.09 million (end of 2025) | A large, city-heavy pool. Istanbul alone behaves like a market of its own, so district and city targeting pays off. |
| Currency | Turkish lira (TRY) | Turkish shops price in lira and reprice often, so price checks need to come from local IPs and run regularly. |
| Language & script | Turkish, Latin alphabet | Local SERPs, autocomplete and social feeds only show up properly for Turkish IPs with a Turkish locale. |
| Mobile networks | Turkcell, Vodafone, Türk Telekom — 101.1 million subscriptions, 5G since April 2026 | All three national carriers are on our network, so mobile traffic looks like an ordinary local customer. |
| Fixed broadband | 21.2 million subscriptions, 10.3 million on fibre | Home IPs come from fibre, DSL and cable lines, which gives a varied, natural-looking residential pool. |
| EU status | Candidate country since 1999, not a member | Turkish IPs are not treated as EU visitors, and personal data falls under Turkey’s own data protection law (KVKK). |

What our Turkey coverage actually reaches
Read from the live API, not a brochure
Most providers list Turkey as a single country checkbox. Here you can pin a session to the province, city and network your target cares about. This is the targeting available on the ProxyEmpire network today, pulled from the same API our dashboard uses.
77 of Turkey’s 81 provinces
Province-level targeting is live in 77 provinces. The four small north-eastern and south-eastern provinces not yet listed (Ardahan, Bayburt, Gümüşhane and Hakkari) are still reachable through country-level Turkish IPs.
246 targetable cities and districts
Coverage goes well beyond Istanbul and Ankara. Big-city districts, Aegean and Mediterranean resorts and small provincial towns can each be targeted on their own. A selection:
Istanbul districts such as Kadıköy, Beşiktaş and Üsküdar, Ankara’s Çankaya and Izmir’s Bornova can be targeted separately from their cities. So can holiday towns like Bodrum, Alanya and Ürgüp in Cappadocia — useful for travel and delivery checks, where a visitor on the coast often sees different offers from someone in central Istanbul.
Mobile carriers
Fixed-line ISPs
All the major national networks are covered — Türk Telekom, Turkcell Superonline, Vodafone Net, TurkNet, Türksat and Millenicom — together with more than 70 regional fibre and wireless providers, including Gibirnet, Göknet, Atlantis Telekom, Fibim Fibernet, Farknet, Sibanet, Veganet, Vipnet, Alanyanet, Kocaelinet, Hatnet, Rüzgarnet and Lodosnet.
Why the long tail matters. Anti-bot systems look at which network a request comes from. A pool of IPs from just two or three big providers is easy to spot. Having IPs on small networks too — a local ISP in Alanya, a regional network in Kocaeli, a national carrier — is what makes your traffic look like ordinary Turkish households.
What teams use Turkish proxies for
Common workloads on our Turkish network
E-commerce price monitoring
Track prices, stock, campaigns and shipping fees on Trendyol, Hepsiburada, n11 and Akakçe exactly as Turkish shoppers see them, in lira and in Turkish.
Local SEO & SERP tracking
Check Google.com.tr rankings, map packs and ads from Istanbul, Ankara or Izmir instead of a generic European location.
Ad verification
Confirm that campaigns targeted at Turkey actually render, in Turkish, on the placements you paid for, and catch fraudulent placements before they burn budget.
Social media management
Run Turkish accounts from mobile IPs on Turkcell, Vodafone or Türk Telekom, so logins look like a local phone rather than a server.
Travel & hospitality pricing
Compare hotel, flight and bus fares on Enuygun and Obilet as they appear to visitors in Antalya, Bodrum or Cappadocia against those shown in Istanbul or abroad.
Classifieds & market research
Collect car, property and job listings from Sahibinden and other Turkish-language sites at scale without CAPTCHAs or geo-blocks.

Static residential IPs in Turkey

| Single IP | 1 | $3.50 | Included, 100 GB fair-use cap per IP | Buy |

Free Turkey proxy lists vs paid Turkish proxies
Why free lists rarely work on Turkish sites
Free Turkey proxy lists are easy to find, but most entries are open servers that have been scanned and abused by thousands of other users. They go offline within hours and are already blacklisted by the Turkish marketplaces and classifieds sites you want to reach.
| Free Turkey proxy lists | ProxyEmpire Turkish proxies | |
|---|---|---|
| IP source | Open or hijacked servers, mostly data centres | Real Turkish homes and Turkcell, Vodafone and Türk Telekom SIM cards |
| Uptime | Minutes to hours before an IP disappears | Always-on pool, with rotating, sticky or static IPs |
| Blocks | Usually blacklisted on major Turkish sites | Looks like an ordinary local visitor |
| Targeting | Country at best | Region, city, ZIP, ISP, ASN and OS fingerprint |
| Security | Unknown operator can log or alter your traffic | Authenticated access over HTTP(S) or SOCKS5 |
| Cost | Free | From $1.50/GB, with a $1.97 trial |

Turkey proxy FAQ
Straight answers
What is a Turkish proxy (TR proxy)?
A Turkish proxy, or TR proxy, gives you a Turkish IP address so websites treat you as a local visitor. A Turkey residential proxy goes one step further: it routes your traffic through a real Turkish household’s internet connection, so websites see a genuine local visitor on a network like Türk Telekom or Turkcell Superonline instead of a data centre. That makes it far less likely to be blocked or shown non-local content.
Can I target specific Turkish cities or ISPs?
Yes. You can target 77 of Turkey’s 81 provinces, 246 cities and districts, and more than 80 local ISPs, including Türk Telekom, Turkcell Superonline, Vodafone Net and TurkNet as well as regional fibre and wireless networks. Residential and mobile proxies can also be targeted by ZIP code, ASN and OS fingerprint. Datacenter and static residential proxies are targeted at country level.
Do you offer Turkish mobile proxies?
Yes. Rotating mobile proxies are available on all three Turkish carriers: Turkcell, Vodafone and Türk Telekom. Mobile IPs are shared by many real subscribers, which makes them among the hardest IPs for websites to block.
How much do Turkey proxies cost?
Rotating residential starts at $1.50/GB on larger plans, rotating mobile at $2.00/GB and rotating datacenter at $0.35/GB. Static residential IPs cost $3.50 for a single IP and go down to $2.00 per IP a month at 2,000 IPs. Turkish targeting is included at no extra charge, and you can start with a $1.97 trial.
Do you have Turkish datacenter proxies?
Yes. Rotating datacenter proxies with Turkish IPs start at $25 for 40 GB and go down to $0.35/GB on larger plans. They are targeted at country level and suit high-volume work on sites with light bot protection. For well-protected sites such as the big Turkish marketplaces, use residential or mobile IPs instead.
Do you sell static residential IPs in Turkey?
Yes. You get a dedicated Turkish residential IP that stays the same all month, from $3.50 for one IP down to $2.00 per IP at 2,000 IPs, traffic included under a 100 GB fair-use cap.
Can I keep the same Turkish IP?
Yes. Rotating residential, mobile and datacenter proxies all support sticky sessions, which keep the same Turkish IP across requests instead of switching to a new IP on every request. If you need a fixed Turkish IP, static residential proxies give you a dedicated residential IP for the whole month, with traffic included.
Which protocols and tools are supported?
HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5. The proxies work with any scraper, headless browser, anti-detect browser or HTTP library, and there is no limit on concurrent sessions.
Why not use a free Turkey proxy?
Free proxies are slow, blocked on most major sites, and often run by operators who log or resell your traffic. If you are not paying for the product, your data usually is the product. For anything work-related, a paid residential proxy is safer and far more reliable.
Is using a proxy legal in Turkey?
Using a proxy is legal in Turkey. What matters is how you use it: respect websites’ terms of service, and follow Turkey’s Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) when you collect personal data.
