A sticky session keeps the same IP across many requests, which you need for logins, carts and other multi-step tasks.
Rotating Residential and Rotating Mobile
In the Proxy Manager, choose an IP rotation mode:
- Same IP: keeps the same IP for as long as possible, until you rotate it or the device behind it goes offline. This can be longer than 2 hours.
- Every request: each new connection gets a different IP.
- Custom TTL: the IP changes on a timer you set, up to 2 hours.
Each sticky session has its own session ID (sid) in the proxy username. To run many sticky sessions at once, generate a proxy list: every line is a separate session. Click Rotate session to get a new IP for a session.
Rotating Datacenter
By default you get a new IP on every request. For a sticky session, click “Sticky Sessions” to add a session ID (SID) to the proxy username. You can also create your own session IDs of 8 digits (00000000 to 99999999).
