Why a local IP changes what you see
Search results, telecom offers, job listings and the ads served on Angolan news sites all depend on where a request comes from. A visitor in Luanda sees Portuguese-language pages and prices in kwanzas; a request from a foreign server often gets a generic version of the page, or is blocked outright.
What a customer in Luanda sees is not always what someone in Lubango or Huambo gets, so choosing the province or city makes local data comparable. A request from an Angolan home or phone also looks like an ordinary customer, while data-centre traffic is far more likely to be flagged.

Region names follow the 18-province map in use before Law No. 14/24 created today’s 21 provinces; Cuando Cubango, for example, is now Cuando and Cubango. Lunda Sul cannot be selected on either product, and we do not list it as covered.
8 targetable cities, plus Maianga on mobile
Every city the API returns for Angolan residential IPs: the capital, Luanda, and Cacuaco in Luanda province; the coastal cities of Benguela and Lobito; Huambo and Lubango in the central and southern highlands; Soyo in Zaire; and Muxaluando in Bengo. Mobile IPs can be pinned to Luanda or to Maianga, in central Luanda. Cabinda, Malanje, Namibe and Cuanza Norte have no city of their own in the API, so sessions there are set at region level.
Angola mobile proxy carriers
Angola has three mobile networks: Unitel, Africell and Movicel. Unitel and Africell are in our mobile pool, so you can pick the network your audience uses or rotate across both; both work in Luanda. Movicel is missing from the mobile carrier list today, and its IPs are not available on residential either.
Angolan ISPs in the residential pool
Residential IPs come from seven networks: Unitel; TV Cabo Angola, the cable TV and internet provider, which the API lists under two spellings; ZAP, also listed twice; Angola Telecom; Paratus Angola; KwendaNet, a Luanda internet provider; and one smaller local provider. All seven can be targeted in Luanda. Outside the capital, Benguela, Lobito, Huambo and Lubango have TV Cabo, Cacuaco has Unitel and Muxaluando has ZAP.
Honest counts, real addresses. Eight cities and seven residential networks will not suit a job that needs home IPs in every municipality. They do cover the capital and the largest regional cities, and mobile IPs reach eleven regions, including the four most populous provinces.

What is an Angolan proxy (AO proxy)?
An Angolan proxy, or Angola proxy server, gives you an Angola IP address, so websites treat you as a visitor from Angola. A residential or mobile Angolan proxy server goes one step further: it routes your traffic through a real connection on Unitel, Africell, TV Cabo, ZAP or another local network instead of a data centre, which makes it far less likely to be blocked.
How do I get an Angola IP address?
Start the $1.97 trial, set the country to Angola in the dashboard and connect your tool to the endpoint it generates. Every request then leaves from an Angolan residential or mobile IP. You can narrow it down to a region, to a city such as Luanda, Benguela or Lubango, or to a specific network.
Can I target specific provinces, cities or ISPs in Angola?
Yes. Residential IPs can be targeted in ten regions and eight cities, and mobile IPs in eleven regions, Luanda and Maianga. You can also choose one of seven residential ISPs or one of the two mobile carriers, and target by ZIP code, ASN and OS fingerprint, at no extra charge. Lunda Sul is not available as a region today.
Do you offer Angola mobile proxies?
Yes, on Unitel and Africell. Movicel is not in the mobile pool today. Mobile IPs are shared by many real subscribers, which makes them among the hardest IPs for websites to block, and they reach eleven regions, more than residential IPs do.
Do you have Angolan datacenter or static IPs?
Not at the moment. Datacenter and static residential proxies in Angola are not offered. For a long-lived Angola IP address, use a sticky session on residential or mobile.
How much do Angola proxies cost?

Can I keep the same Angola IP address?
Yes. Rotating residential and mobile proxies both support sticky sessions, which hold the same Angolan IP across requests instead of switching on every request.
Do the proxies work on Portuguese-language sites?
Yes. Portuguese is Angola’s official language, and Portuguese speakers often search for a “proxy Angola”. An Angolan IP gets you the same local version a visitor in Luanda sees, over HTTP, HTTPS or SOCKS5, with no limit on concurrent sessions.
Is there a free Angola proxy that works?
For a one-off look at a page, a free proxy sometimes works. For regular work, no: free lists for Angola are short, the entries are slow, often flagged and may not be in Angola at all, and their operators may log or resell your traffic. There is no way to choose the city or network.
