Dolphin Anty is built for teams that run many accounts: arbitrage, e-commerce and social media work where every browser profile needs its own fingerprint and cookies. Each of those profiles also needs its own IP address, or the separation stops at the browser. This guide covers Dolphin Anty proxy setup with ProxyEmpire: the proxy format Dolphin expects, adding a proxy to a profile, mass-adding and assigning proxies, and which residential, mobile or static residential proxies suit which accounts.
The short version
In Dolphin Anty, create or edit a browser profile, open the proxy field, choose New proxy and paste your ProxyEmpire proxy as http://v2.proxyempire.io:5000:username:password. Wait for Dolphin to verify it, then click Save. For many profiles, mass-add proxies on the Proxies page and use Change proxy on selected profiles. Give every account its own sticky session.
Why Dolphin Anty Needs a Proxy
The fingerprint is only half of an identityDolphin Anty (written Dolphin {anty}) is an anti-detect browser popular with traffic arbitrage teams, marketplace sellers and social media agencies. Each browser profile gets its own fingerprint, cookies and storage, and teams can share profiles and assign access to colleagues. That keeps accounts apart as far as the browser is concerned.
Websites also look at where the traffic comes from. If twenty profiles all use your office connection, a platform sees twenty accounts on one IP address, which is a classic sign of one operator running many accounts. A Dolphin Anty proxy gives each profile its own IP in the right country, city or network, so the network matches the fingerprint.
The kind of IP matters too. Residential IPs come from real households and blend in with normal traffic. Mobile IPs come from 4G carrier networks; because carriers share each address between many real subscribers, platforms are cautious about blocking them, which is why mobile proxies are popular for ad accounts and social media. Datacenter IPs are fast and cheap but easy to identify, so they suit scraping rather than accounts.
What you need
- Dolphin Anty installed and signed in.
- A ProxyEmpire account with bandwidth. The $1.97 trial includes 100 MB of residential and 50 MB of mobile bandwidth.
- A list of the accounts you plan to run, so each can get its own session.
Step 1: Get Your ProxyEmpire Proxy Details
Location, session, credentialsLog in to the ProxyEmpire dashboard and open the Proxy Manager to reach the Connection Builder. Choose Residential or Mobile and the country, then use the advanced settings for a region, city or ISP (carrier on mobile). Residential and mobile also support ZIP, ASN and OS fingerprint targeting, with no extra charge for any of it. Static residential and datacenter proxies are targeted by country.
Pick the IP rotation that fits the account:
- Same IP is a sticky session: no fixed time limit, and the IP stays until you rotate it or the device behind it goes offline. Use it for every account you log in to.
- Every request gives a new IP each time, for data collection only.
- Custom TTL rotates on a timer you choose, up to two hours.
The builder then shows host v2.proxyempire.io, port 5000, your username and password, a Test proxy settings button and a full proxy string you can copy. Targeting and session are part of the username, so a different city or session means a different username with the same host, port and password. ProxyEmpire supports HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5, HTTP and SOCKS5 both work with these details, and ProxyEmpire uses username and password authentication, not IP whitelisting.
protocol://host:port:login:password
http://v2.proxyempire.io:5000:username:password
socks5://v2.proxyempire.io:5000:username:password
Step 2: Add the Proxy to a Dolphin Anty Profile
New proxy, verify, save- Open the profileCreate a new browser profile or edit an existing one.
- Choose New proxyIn the proxy field, select New proxy rather than a saved one.
- Paste the proxyPaste the proxy with its protocol in front, in Dolphin’s protocol, host, port, login, password order.
- Wait for the checkDolphin verifies the proxy and shows its IP and location.
- SaveClick Save. The proxy is now attached to the profile.
Putting http:// or socks5:// at the start tells Dolphin which protocol to use. With ProxyEmpire either works, because HTTP and SOCKS5 share the same host, port and credentials. HTTP is fine for every website, including HTTPS ones, because the browser tunnels encrypted traffic through the proxy.
Once the profile starts, open an IP-check page. The country, region and timezone should match what you targeted. A neighbouring town is normal, since IP-location databases often place the same address in slightly different places.
Set the profile’s timezone, geolocation and WebRTC to follow the proxy’s IP rather than your computer, so the clock, location and any WebRTC request all agree with the proxy. ProxyEmpire carries TCP traffic only, not UDP, so WebRTC should be masked or altered rather than left on your real connection.
Mass-Adding and Assigning Dolphin Anty Proxies
Built for teams with hundreds of profilesAdd proxies in bulk
Dolphin Anty has a proxies page where you can paste many proxies at once. The pasted lines appear as a list so you can check each entry before saving, and you can also import them from a file. Once they are in, select them with the checkboxes and click Check connection to test them all.
http://v2.proxyempire.io:5000:username-for-session-1:password
http://v2.proxyempire.io:5000:username-for-session-2:password
http://v2.proxyempire.io:5000:username-for-session-3:password
The usernames are placeholders. The Proxy list panel in ProxyEmpire’s Connection Builder generates real ones: set the list length, choose the host:port:user:pass output format and copy, then add http:// to the front of each line. Each line is its own sticky session and IP.
Assign proxies to existing profiles
To switch many profiles at once, select them in the profile list and choose Change proxy. That is the quickest way to move a batch of accounts to new sessions, for example after changing their target city.
Dolphin Anty Proxies for Teams and Arbitrage
Organise sessions like you organise accountsDolphin Anty is often used by teams, where several buyers or managers share a pool of profiles. A few habits keep proxies manageable at that scale:
- Name proxies after the account, not the location, so anyone on the team can see which session belongs to which profile.
- Keep one session per account, and never reuse a session for a second account on the same platform, even after the first is retired.
- Use ProxyEmpire sub-users if you want separate bandwidth for different teams or clients, so one team’s usage doesn’t eat into another’s.
- Group accounts by country, and keep each account in the same country and, ideally, the same city every time it logs in.
- Warm up new accounts with normal browsing before running campaigns, whatever proxy you use.
For ad accounts in particular, mobile IPs are worth the higher price per gigabyte: an account that looks like a phone on a real carrier network tends to get fewer checkpoints than one on a hosting IP.
Before you launch a batch of new profiles, run a quick check on each one. Start the profile, confirm on an IP-check page that the country, region and timezone match the account, then open a browser-leak test and make sure WebRTC shows the proxy IP or nothing at all, never your own address. Finally, note the session username next to the account in your team’s records. If a sticky IP ever drops, you can then start a replacement session in the same city and update just that one profile, instead of guessing which proxy belonged to which account.
Which ProxyEmpire Proxy to Use with Dolphin Anty
Match the IP to the account| Rotating residential | Rotating mobile | Static residential | |
|---|---|---|---|
| IP source | Home broadband | 4G carrier networks | Residential ISP ranges |
| In Dolphin Anty | One sticky session per profile | One sticky session per profile | One IP per profile |
| Targeting | Country to ZIP, ISP, ASN | Country to ZIP, carrier, ASN | Country |
| Best for | Stores, most web accounts | Ad accounts, social media, apps | Accounts that must keep one IP |
| Price | $3.50/GB, down to $1.50/GB | $4.50/GB, down to $2.00/GB | $3.50 for one IP, down to $2.00/IP a month |
Rotating residential with a sticky session covers most profiles. Mobile suits ad and social accounts that face strict checks, and static residential, sold in 24 countries, suits an account that should always come from the same address. All three share one ProxyEmpire balance, and unused bandwidth rolls over.
Troubleshooting a Dolphin Anty Proxy
When the check fails| Problem | Likely cause and fix |
|---|---|
| Proxy fails verification | Usually a typo, a space or an old password. Copy the full proxy string from the Connection Builder again and add the protocol in front. |
| Fields filled in the wrong order | Dolphin expects protocol, host, port, login, password. Keep ProxyEmpire’s host:port:user:pass order and add the protocol at the start. |
| IP changed mid-session | The username is on Every request, or the device behind the sticky IP went offline. Use Same IP and start a new session in the same city. |
| Timezone doesn’t match | The profile’s timezone isn’t following the IP. Set it to use the proxy’s location. |
| Stopped working | Check your bandwidth balance and whether targeting changed, which changes the username. |
| One site won’t load | Some site categories are restricted on ProxyEmpire by default, including banks, payment processors such as PayPal and Stripe, and crypto exchanges, and only ports 80 and 443 are open. Access can be reviewed after KYC and a use-case explanation to support. |
ProxyEmpire support is available 24/7 through live chat in the dashboard. Get Dolphin Anty from its official site, and see our GoLogin proxy guide if you run more than one anti-detect browser.
Dolphin Anty Proxy FAQ
Straight answersWhat is the best proxy for Dolphin Anty?
Rotating residential proxies with one sticky session per profile suit most accounts. Rotating mobile proxies are the better fit for ad accounts and social media, and static residential proxies for accounts that must keep one IP.
How do I add a proxy in Dolphin Anty?
Open the profile, select New proxy in the proxy field and paste the proxy as protocol://host:port:login:password, for example http://v2.proxyempire.io:5000:username:password. Wait for the check, then click Save.
What proxy format does Dolphin Anty use?
The most common format is protocol://ip:port:login:password. Put http:// or socks5:// in front of ProxyEmpire’s host:port:user:pass string.
How do I add many proxies to Dolphin Anty?
Paste them into the mass-add form on the proxies page, one per line, or import a file. Then select profiles and use Change proxy to assign them.
Should I use HTTP or SOCKS5 in Dolphin Anty?
Either works with ProxyEmpire, because both protocols use the same host, port, username and password.
Can two Dolphin Anty profiles share a proxy?
Not if they are accounts on the same platform. A shared IP can link accounts regardless of their fingerprints, so give each profile its own sticky session.
What is the best mobile proxy for Dolphin Anty?
A rotating mobile proxy on a sticky session, targeted to the account’s country and, if needed, its carrier. ProxyEmpire’s mobile IPs come from 4G carrier networks with city, carrier and ASN targeting included.
Can I try ProxyEmpire with Dolphin Anty first?
Yes. The $1.97 trial includes 100 MB of residential and 50 MB of mobile bandwidth, and unused trial bandwidth doesn’t expire.
