See every ad the way your real audience sees it
Ad verification proxies from ProxyEmpire give advertisers, agencies and ad tech teams a residential or 4G mobile IP in the country, city, ISP or mobile carrier they choose. Check that your ads, landing pages and redirects show correctly in every market, catch cloaked and fraudulent placements that hide from office and datacenter IPs, and keep an eye on competitors’ creatives, all from real home and mobile connections.
Residential from $1.50/GB, mobile from $2.00/GB. No concurrent session limit, and unused bandwidth rolls over.
What is an ad verification proxy?
A local viewer in every market your ads run in
An ad verification proxy is an IP address that your browsers, crawlers and verification tools connect through, so an ad server, publisher or landing page sees a visitor in the country, city, ISP or mobile carrier you picked. ProxyEmpire’s network has residential IPs from real home connections in 179 countries and territories, and 4G mobile IPs on carrier networks in 174, with targeting down to ZIP code, ISP, ASN and OS fingerprint.
Ads are targeted by location, device, network and time, and what gets served changes with every one of them. A team checking campaigns from one office sees one version, usually on a corporate network that ad platforms and fraudsters can recognise. Proxies for ad verification let you check the same placement from the viewpoint of an actual customer: an iPhone on a mobile network in Chicago, a home broadband connection in Manchester, a specific carrier in Jakarta.
That matters because the most expensive problems are the ones built to stay hidden. Cloaking scripts, malicious redirects and fake placements often show a clean page to anything that looks like a datacenter, a known verification vendor or an advertiser’s office, and show the real content only to consumer traffic. Residential and mobile IPs are how you see what your customers see.
What teams use ad verification proxies for
Campaign QA, fraud checks and competitive research
Geo and creative checks
Confirm the right creative, language, price and offer appear in each country, state and city you pay for, and that nothing runs where it shouldn’t.
Landing page and redirect checks
Follow every click from the ad to the final page on a local IP, and confirm tracking parameters, redirects and landing pages work the same way for real visitors.
Affiliate compliance
Check that affiliates send traffic where they say they do, that links aren’t hijacked or stuffed with unexpected redirects, and that your brand terms and offers are used as agreed.
Brand safety and placements
See which sites, apps and content your ads actually appear next to, market by market, and pull evidence when a placement breaks your brand safety rules.
Cloaking and malvertising detection
Ad networks and security teams load ads from consumer IPs to catch creatives and landing pages that show one thing to reviewers and something else to users.
Competitor ad intelligence
See which search, social and video ads competitors run in each market, with the offers, prices and landing pages local customers get. More on SERP scraping proxies.
Why ad verification needs residential and mobile IPs
Datacenter IPs see a different internet
Ad servers, publishers and fraud schemes all look at the visitor’s IP before deciding what to show. An IP from a hosting provider is easy to recognise, and a lot of ad tech treats it as non-human traffic: it may get no ads at all, cheaper fill, or a sanitised page. Your checks then pass, while real users still see the broken, off-market or malicious version.
Residential proxies route your checks through home broadband connections, and mobile proxies through 4G carrier networks. To an ad server they look like ordinary local visitors, so you get the same auction, the same creative and the same landing page your audience gets. Add ISP or carrier targeting and you can check campaigns aimed at specific networks too, and OS fingerprint targeting lets your requests present as the platform you’re testing.
Built for verification, not for fake traffic. Use ProxyEmpire to check and protect your own campaigns and placements. We don’t support generating fake clicks, impressions or installs, or any other ad fraud.

Real home and mobile networks, down to city and carrier
Rotating residential
Real home broadband IPs with city and ISP targeting. The standard choice for geo and creative checks, landing page QA and placement monitoring at scale.
- Country, region, city, ZIP, ISP and ASN targeting
- New IP per request or sticky sessions
- OS fingerprint targeting at no extra charge
- Residential IPs in 179 countries and territories
Rotating mobile (4G)
IPs on real mobile carrier networks. The right choice for mobile ad verification: in-app ads, mobile web placements and campaigns targeted by carrier.
- Country, region, city, ZIP, carrier and ASN targeting
- Rotate on demand or keep a sticky session
- OS fingerprint targeting at no extra charge
- Mobile IPs in 174 countries and territories
Static residential (ISP)
A fixed residential IP that stays yours all month. Best for scheduled checks from the same location and for test accounts on ad platforms that should always sign in from one place.
- The same IP for as long as you keep it
- Ideal for daily placement and SERP checks
- Country-level targeting, sold in 19 countries
- From $3.50 for a single IP
What about datacenter? Datacenter proxies are fine for collecting public data at volume where sites allow it, such as public ad libraries, but ad servers and cloaking scripts often treat them differently from real users, so they are not a reliable way to verify what customers see.
How to run ad verification checks with proxies
Six habits for accurate results
Target like the campaign does. If a campaign is targeted by city or ZIP code, set the proxy to the same place. If it’s targeted by mobile carrier or ISP, target that network too. Country-level checks miss most local problems.
Match the device. Mobile and desktop users often see different ads and landing pages. Use mobile IPs with a mobile browser or app build for mobile campaigns, and use OS fingerprint targeting so your checks present as the platform you’re testing.
Use sticky sessions to follow a click. Keep one IP from the ad through every redirect to the final landing page. A new IP in the middle of a chain can change the route or trigger fraud checks, which hides the problem you’re looking for.
Rotate for coverage. For large placement lists or keyword sets, use a new IP per request and spread checks over time and locations, at request rates the sites can handle.
Render the page. Most ads are loaded by JavaScript. Run checks in a real browser or a headless browser such as Puppeteer or Playwright, not a plain HTTP request. If you use an anti-detect browser, these are the popular anti-detect browsers that integrate with ProxyEmpire.
Keep evidence. Save a screenshot, the final URL, the redirect chain, the time and the proxy location for each check. That’s what a publisher, network or affiliate will ask for when you dispute a placement.
Some high-risk site categories are restricted on the ProxyEmpire network by default, and only ports 80 and 443 are open. If a site you need to verify is restricted, complete KYC in your dashboard and send your use case to support for review.

Ad verification proxy FAQ
Straight answers
What is an ad verification proxy?
It’s a proxy that lets your verification tools load ads, placements and landing pages from a chosen location and network, so you see exactly what a real user there would see. ProxyEmpire provides residential and 4G mobile IPs for this in 179 countries and territories.
Why use residential proxies for ad verification?
Ad servers and fraud schemes often treat datacenter and office IPs differently from real users. Residential IPs come from home broadband connections, so they get the same ads, auctions and landing pages your customers get, including the cloaked or fraudulent versions you’re trying to catch.
Are datacenter proxies good for ad verification?
Not for checking what customers see. They’re easy to recognise as non-human traffic, so they can be served different ads or clean pages. They’re fine for bulk collection of public data such as ad libraries, where the site allows it.
Can I use static residential (ISP) proxies for ad verification?
Yes, for scheduled checks from one fixed location and for ad platform test accounts that should always sign in from the same IP. For checks across many cities or networks, rotating residential or mobile proxies give you more coverage.
What are the best proxies for mobile ad verification?
Rotating mobile proxies. They use real 4G carrier networks, so in-app and mobile web ads are served as they would be to a phone on that network, and you can target by carrier as well as location.
How do proxies help detect ad fraud and cloaking?
Cloaked ads and fraudulent placements often show a clean version to reviewers, datacenters and known verification IPs. Loading them from residential and mobile IPs, in the markets the campaign targets, shows the version real users get, so you can capture evidence and act on it.
Can I check ads in a specific city or on a specific network?
Yes. Rotating residential and mobile proxies can be targeted by country, region, city, ZIP code, ISP or mobile carrier and ASN, at no extra charge.
How much do ad verification proxies cost?
Rotating residential starts at $3.50 for 1 GB and goes down to $1.50/GB, 4G mobile goes down to $2.00/GB, and static residential IPs cost from $2.00 per IP a month. A $1.97 trial lets you test first.
