Danish IPs from real homes and SIM cards
Danish proxies on real home fibre and on all four mobile operators: TDC NET, Telenor, Norlys and 3. Point our Denmark proxies at Copenhagen, Aarhus, Odense, Aalborg or any of 58 locations in all 5 regions, with rotating or sticky sessions.
Pay per GB, not per IP. Unused bandwidth rolls over.
Choose your Denmark proxy type
Two ways to get a Danish IP address
Rotating residential
A Denmark residential proxy on real home broadband, from Copenhagen to Thisted. Each Danish proxy server endpoint gives you a household IP. Best for scraping, price monitoring and SERP tracking.
- Region, city, ZIP, ISP and ASN targeting
- New IP per request or sticky sessions
- OS fingerprint targeting (Windows, macOS, Linux, Android)
Rotating mobile
Danish mobile IPs on TDC NET, Telenor, Norlys and 3, the country’s four mobile operators. Best for social media and the strictest anti-bot systems.
- Region, city, ZIP, carrier and ASN targeting
- OS fingerprint targeting
- Rotate on demand or keep a sticky session
Need the same IP for weeks at a time? Static residential proxies are not offered in Denmark. The nearest static locations are Germany, the Netherlands and Poland, or use sticky sessions to hold the same Danish IP on residential or mobile. Datacenter IPs are not available in Denmark either.
Denmark at a glance
Why a local IP changes what you see
Google.dk results, prices at Elgiganten, Power and Bilka, listings on DBA and Bilbasen and the ads shown to Danish users all depend on where a request comes from. Many Nordic retailers run separate Danish, Swedish and Norwegian stores, so a visitor from the wrong country lands on the wrong shop, in the wrong currency.
Danish sites also check the network type. Data centre traffic is flagged as a bot straight away on well-protected sites, while a YouSee, Norlys or Fibia home connection looks like an ordinary Danish customer, because it is one.
| Fact | Figure | Why it matters for proxy work |
|---|---|---|
| Population | 6.03 million (1 August 2026) | A small, highly connected market where a foreign IP stands out quickly. |
| Regions and municipalities | 5 regions, 98 municipalities (kommuner) | Our region level matches the five regions, and all five can be targeted directly. |
| Currency | Danish krone (DKK), pegged to the euro in ERM II at 746.038 kroner per 100 euro | Denmark keeps its own currency, so Danish storefronts price in kroner, not euros like Germany or Finland. |
| VAT | 25%, one standard rate with no reduced rate for food | Shelf prices include VAT, so Danish prices differ from German and Swedish ones even for the same product. |
| Principal language | Danish (Γ¦, ΓΈ, Γ₯) | Most local sites answer in Danish, so SERP and ad checks need Danish results, not an English fallback. |
| EU membership | Since 1 January 1973, with an opt-out from the euro | EU rules apply, but Danish storefronts, prices and delivery terms still differ from other EU ones. |
| Mobile market | 9.06 million subscriptions; TDC Brands (then Nuuday) 36.7%, 3 (Hi3G) 19.7%, Telenor 18.8%, Norlys 13.8% (end of 2025) | All four operators are in our mobile pool, together about 89% of Danish mobile subscriptions. |
| Broadband | 2.41 million fixed subscriptions, 1.45 million of them on fibre (end of 2025) | Fibre is now the majority: about three in five Danish home connections. |

What our Denmark residential proxy coverage actually reaches
Read from the live API, not a brochure
Most providers list Denmark as a single checkbox. Here you can run a proxy Denmark-wide or pin a session to a region, town or network, using the same API our dashboard uses.
All 5 Danish regions
Denmark’s five regions (regioner) are the region level, and every one of them has at least one targetable town. Greenland and the Faroe Islands have their own country codes and networks and are not part of the Denmark pool.
All 58 targetable locations
The 58 locations are cities and towns plus districts and suburbs of the two largest cities: Valby, VanlΓΈse and BrΓΈnshΓΈj in Copenhagen, and Brabrand, Viby J and Risskov in Aarhus, are separate targets. All of them, by region:
Capital Region
Zealand
Southern Denmark
Central Denmark
North Denmark
Some well-known towns, such as Randers, Herning, HjΓΈrring and Frederikshavn, are not separate targets at the moment. Target their region instead: Central Denmark or North Denmark.
Mobile carriers
Denmark has three physical mobile networks and four operators, and all of them are covered. TDC NET carries the TDC Brands family (YouSee, Telmore and eesy). Telenor, which also runs CBB Mobil, and Norlys share one network. Norlys bought Telia Denmark in 2024 and replaced the Telia brand in May 2025. 3 is run by Hi3G and also sells as Oister. Lycamobile is a virtual operator that rents capacity on a host network. Together the four operators hold about 89% of Danish mobile subscriptions.
Fixed-line ISPs
The big retail networks are covered: TDC NET, the network behind YouSee, plus Norlys (including Stofa and the former Telia), Telenor, Fibia, Fastspeed and DKTV. Behind them come fibre and cable companies such as EWII, Altibox, Fiberby and Dansk Kabel TV, regional networks such as Bornfiber on Bornholm and Aura Fiber in East Jutland, and Aarhus housing and antenna networks such as Antenneforeningen Aarhus, Bolignet-Aarhus, Parknet and Glentevejs Antennelaug. Counting Norlys, Stofa and Telia once, that is more than 15 distinct Danish networks.
Why network diversity matters. Anti-bot systems look at which network a request comes from. Real Danish households spread across a few national brands and a long tail of fibre, cable and antenna associations, and our pool mixes them the same way, so your requests blend in.
What teams use Danish proxies for
Common workloads on our Denmark network
E-commerce price monitoring
Track prices, stock and delivery fees at Elgiganten, Power, Bilka and Salling exactly as Danish shoppers see them, in kroner with Danish VAT.
Price comparison data
Collect offers and price histories from PriceRunner.dk as a Danish visitor, then compare them with Swedish or Norwegian storefronts.
Local SEO & SERP tracking
Check Google.dk rankings, map packs and ads from Copenhagen, Aarhus, Odense or Aalborg instead of a generic European location.
Marketplaces & classifieds
Monitor DBA and GulogGratis listings, or used-car prices on Bilbasen and Biltorvet, at scale without CAPTCHAs skewing the sample.
Property & jobs data
Collect asking prices from Boligsiden and estate agents such as EDC and home, or job ads from Jobindex and Jobnet, region by region.
Social media & ad verification
Run Danish accounts from TDC NET, Telenor, Norlys or 3 mobile IPs, and confirm Danish campaigns run on the placements you paid for.

Free Denmark proxy lists vs paid Danish proxies
Why free lists rarely work on Danish sites
Search for a free Danish proxy list or “proxy server Denmark” and you will find plenty, but most entries are open servers already scanned and abused by thousands of other users. They go offline within hours and are blacklisted by the Danish sites you want to reach.
| Free Denmark proxy lists | ProxyEmpire Danish proxies | |
|---|---|---|
| IP source | Open or hijacked servers, mostly data centres | Real Danish homes and SIM cards on all four operators |
| Uptime | Minutes to hours before an IP disappears | Always-on pool, with rotating or sticky sessions |
| Blocks | Usually blacklisted on major Danish sites | Looks like an ordinary local visitor |
| Targeting | Country at best | Region, city, ZIP, ISP, ASN and OS fingerprint |
| Security | Unknown operator can log or alter your traffic | Authenticated access over HTTP(S) or SOCKS5 |
| Cost | Free | From $1.50/GB, with a $1.97 trial |

Denmark proxy FAQ
Straight answers
What is a Danish proxy (Denmark proxy server)?
A Danish proxy, or Denmark proxy server, gives you an IP address in Denmark so websites treat you as a local visitor. A Denmark residential proxy goes further: it routes your traffic through a real Danish household’s connection on a network like TDC NET, Norlys or Fibia, not a data centre, so it is far less likely to be blocked.
Is this a Danish web proxy?
Not in the usual sense. A web proxy is a website where you type in an address and browse through it. ProxyEmpire is an authenticated proxy service: you connect your browser, scraper or app to a Danish proxy server with a username and password (or a whitelisted IP), and all of that tool’s traffic leaves from a Danish IP. It works with any site or app, not just pages opened in one browser tab.
Can I target specific Danish cities, regions or ISPs?
Yes. You can target all 5 regions and 58 locations, from Copenhagen and Aarhus to Esbjerg and Aalborg, including Copenhagen districts such as Valby and VanlΓΈse. ISP targeting covers TDC NET, Norlys, Telenor, Fibia and more than ten smaller networks. Residential and mobile proxies can also be targeted by ZIP, ASN and OS fingerprint.
Do you offer Danish mobile proxies?
Yes. Rotating mobile proxies run on all four Danish mobile operators: TDC NET, Telenor, Norlys and 3, plus Lycamobile. Mobile IPs are shared by many real subscribers, which makes them among the hardest traffic to block.
Do you have Denmark datacenter or static IPs?
Not at the moment. Datacenter and static residential proxies are not offered with Danish IPs. For a long-lived Danish IP, use a sticky session on residential or mobile. If a fixed IP elsewhere in Europe works for you, static residential IPs are sold in Germany, the Netherlands and Poland.
How much do Denmark proxies cost?
Rotating residential starts at $1.50/GB on larger plans and rotating mobile at $2.00/GB. Danish targeting is included at no extra charge, and you can start with a $1.97 trial.
Can I keep the same Denmark IP?
Yes. Rotating residential and mobile proxies both support sticky sessions, which hold the same Denmark IP across requests instead of switching on every request.
Which protocols and tools are supported?
HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5. The proxies work with any scraper, headless browser, anti-detect browser or HTTP library, and there is no limit on concurrent sessions.
Are free Danish proxy lists worth using?
Rarely. Free Danish proxy lists are slow, blocked on most major sites, and often run by operators who log or resell your traffic. If you are not paying for the product, your data usually is the product. For anything work-related, a paid residential proxy is safer and far more reliable.
Is using a proxy legal in Denmark?
Proxies themselves are legal in Denmark. What matters is how you use them: respect each site’s terms of service, and follow the GDPR and the Danish Data Protection Act (databeskyttelsesloven) when you collect personal data.
