Irish IPs from real homes and SIM cards
Irish proxies on real home broadband and the Vodafone and Three mobile networks. Point our Ireland proxies at Dublin, Cork, Galway, Limerick or any of 112 towns across all 26 counties, with rotating or sticky sessions.
Pay per GB, not per IP. Unused bandwidth rolls over.
Choose your Ireland proxy type
Two ways to get an Irish IP address
Rotating residential
An Ireland residential proxy on real home broadband, from Donegal to Cork. Best for scraping, price monitoring and SERP tracking.
- Province, city, ZIP, ISP and ASN targeting
- New IP per request or sticky sessions
- OS fingerprint targeting (Windows, macOS, Linux, Android)
Rotating mobile
Irish mobile IPs on Vodafone and Three, plus Virgin Mobile, Sky Mobile and Lycamobile. Best for social media and the strictest anti-bot systems.
- Province, city, ZIP, carrier and ASN targeting
- OS fingerprint targeting
- Rotate on demand or keep a sticky session
Need the same IP for weeks at a time? Static residential proxies are not offered in Ireland. The nearest static location is the UK, or use sticky sessions to hold the same Irish IP on residential or mobile. Datacenter IPs are not available in Ireland either.
Ireland at a glance
Why a local IP changes what you see
Google.ie results, prices at Harvey Norman and Currys, listings on DoneDeal and Daft.ie and the ads shown to Irish users all depend on where a request comes from. Ireland shares a language and many retailers with the UK, so a visitor from the wrong side of the Irish Sea often lands on the British store, in sterling.
Irish sites also check the network type. Data centre traffic is flagged as a bot straight away on well-protected sites, while an eir, Virgin Media or Sky home connection looks like an ordinary Irish customer, because it is one.
| Fact | Figure | Why it matters for proxy work |
|---|---|---|
| Population | 5.53 million (April 2026) | A small market where one foreign IP stands out, so real local traffic matters more than volume. |
| Dublin region | 1.60 million, 28.9% of the total (April 2026) | Over a quarter of the country lives in Dublin, but Cork, Galway and Limerick see different results and delivery options. |
| Counties | 26, in four provinces | Our region level is the province; town targeting reaches every one of the 26 counties. |
| Currency | Euro (EUR), since 1999; notes and coins since 2002 | Irish prices are in euro, while Northern Ireland and Great Britain next door use sterling. Only an Irish IP reliably shows the Irish price list. |
| VAT | 23% standard rate | Shelf prices include VAT, so what an Irish shopper pays differs from UK and other eurozone storefronts. |
| Official languages | Irish and English | Most big sites are in English, so what you check is prices, stock, ads and rankings rather than translation. |
| EU membership | Since 1 January 1973 | EU rules apply, yet Irish storefronts still differ from other EU and UK ones, so cross-border price checks pay off. |
| Mobile networks | Vodafone 31.8%, Three 27.7%, Eir 24.9% of subscriptions (Q2 2026) | Vodafone and Three are covered, together close to 60% of the market. Eir is not in our mobile pool at the moment. |
| Broadband | 1.79 million fixed lines, 63% on full fibre (Q2 2026) | Fibre-heavy, with a long tail of rural wireless and satellite providers. |

What our Ireland residential proxy coverage actually reaches
Read from the live API, not a brochure
Most providers list Ireland as a single checkbox. Here you can run a proxy Ireland-wide or pin a session to a province, town or network, using the same API our dashboard uses.
All four provinces
The region level for Ireland is the province, not the county. Ulster here means only Cavan, Donegal and Monaghan, the three Ulster counties in the State; Northern Ireland is part of the UK and is served by our UK network. For county-level work, pick a town: there is at least one in each of the 26 counties.
112 targetable towns and cities
Coverage runs from Carndonagh on the Inishowen peninsula to Clonakilty in West Cork. Dublin suburbs such as Tallaght, Swords, Lucan and Dรบn Laoghaire are separate targets from Dublin city. The 70 best-known locations, by province:
Leinster
Munster
Connacht
Ulster (Cavan, Donegal, Monaghan)
The other 42 are smaller towns and villages, from Lahinch in Clare to Rosses Point in Sligo, useful when a site shows different delivery options outside the cities. Two further entries, Laois and Mayo, are county names rather than towns and are not counted in the 112.
Mobile carriers
Ireland has three mobile networks, Vodafone, Three and Eir, and two of them are covered. Eir and its GoMo brand are not in our mobile pool at the moment. Virgin Mobile runs on Three’s network and Sky Mobile on Vodafone’s. Lycamobile is a virtual operator.
Fixed-line ISPs
The large retail networks are covered: eir, Vodafone, Virgin Media, Sky Ireland and Three, which between them hold about 86% of Irish fixed broadband lines. Behind them come Digiweb, Imagine’s wireless broadband, Starlink satellite and enet’s regional open-access fibre, plus local providers such as Westnet and Atlantek in County Mayo and Whizzy Internet in Wexford, Carlow and Wicklow. Counting obvious duplicates once, that is more than 25 distinct Irish networks.
Why network diversity matters. Anti-bot systems look at which network a request comes from. Real Irish households spread across four big brands, rural fixed wireless and satellite, and our pool mixes them the same way, so your requests blend in.
What teams use Irish proxies for
Common workloads on our Ireland network
E-commerce price monitoring
Track prices, stock and delivery fees at Harvey Norman, Currys, DID Electrical and Powercity exactly as Irish shoppers see them, in euro with Irish VAT.
Ireland vs UK price comparison
Many retailers run separate .ie and .co.uk stores. Pair an Irish IP with a UK one to see both price lists, currencies and delivery terms side by side.
Local SEO & SERP tracking
Check Google.ie rankings, map packs and ads from Dublin, Cork, Galway or Limerick instead of a generic European location.
Classifieds & motor research
Monitor DoneDeal and Adverts.ie listings and asking prices at scale without CAPTCHAs skewing the sample.
Property & jobs data
Collect rents and asking prices from Daft.ie and MyHome.ie, or job ads from IrishJobs.ie and Jobs.ie, county by county.
Social media & ad verification
Run Irish accounts from Vodafone or Three mobile IPs, and confirm Irish campaigns run on the placements you paid for.

Free Ireland proxy lists vs paid Irish proxies
Why free lists rarely work on Irish sites
Search for “web proxy Ireland” or a free Irish proxy list and you will find plenty, but most entries are open servers already scanned and abused by thousands of other users. They go offline within hours and are blacklisted by the Irish sites you want to reach.
| Free Ireland proxy lists | ProxyEmpire Irish proxies | |
|---|---|---|
| IP source | Open or hijacked servers, mostly data centres | Real Irish homes and Vodafone and Three SIM cards |
| Uptime | Minutes to hours before an IP disappears | Always-on pool, with rotating or sticky sessions |
| Blocks | Usually blacklisted on major Irish sites | Looks like an ordinary local visitor |
| Targeting | Country at best | Province, city, ZIP, ISP, ASN and OS fingerprint |
| Security | Unknown operator can log or alter your traffic | Authenticated access over HTTP(S) or SOCKS5 |
| Cost | Free | From $1.50/GB, with a $1.97 trial |

Ireland proxy FAQ
Straight answers
What is an Irish proxy (Ireland proxy)?
An Irish proxy, or Ireland proxy, gives you an IP address in Ireland so websites treat you as a local visitor. An Ireland residential proxy goes further: it routes your traffic through a real Irish household’s connection on a network like eir, Virgin Media or Sky, not a data centre, so it is far less likely to be blocked.
Can I target specific Irish cities, counties or ISPs?
Yes. You can target all four provinces and 112 towns and cities, with at least one town in each of the 26 counties, from Dublin and Cork to Letterkenny and Tralee. ISP targeting covers eir, Vodafone, Virgin Media, Sky Ireland and more than 20 smaller networks. Residential and mobile proxies can also be targeted by ZIP, ASN and OS fingerprint.
Do you offer Irish mobile proxies?
Yes. Rotating mobile proxies run on Vodafone and Three, plus Virgin Mobile, Sky Mobile and Lycamobile. Eir, the third network, is not in the mobile pool at the moment. Mobile IPs are shared by many real subscribers, which makes them among the hardest traffic to block.
Do you have Ireland datacenter or static IPs?
Not at the moment. Datacenter and static residential proxies are not offered with Irish IPs. For a long-lived Irish IP, use a sticky session on residential or mobile. If a fixed IP next door works for you, static residential IPs are sold in the UK.
How much do Ireland proxies cost?
Rotating residential starts at $1.50/GB on larger plans and rotating mobile at $2.00/GB. Irish targeting is included at no extra charge, and you can start with a $1.97 trial.
Can I keep the same Irish IP?
Yes. Rotating residential and mobile proxies both support sticky sessions, which hold the same Irish IP across requests instead of switching on every request.
Can I get a Belfast or Northern Ireland IP?
Yes, from our UK proxy network. Northern Ireland is part of the United Kingdom, so Belfast and Derry are targeted there, where Northern Ireland is its own option. This page covers the 26 counties of Ireland.
Which protocols and tools are supported?
HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5. The proxies work with any scraper, headless browser, anti-detect browser or HTTP library, and there is no limit on concurrent sessions.
Why not use a free Ireland proxy?
Free proxies are slow, blocked on most major sites, and often run by operators who log or resell your traffic. If you are not paying for the product, your data usually is the product. For anything work-related, a paid residential proxy is safer and far more reliable.
Is using a proxy legal in Ireland?
Proxies themselves are legal in Ireland. What matters is how you use them: respect each site’s terms of service, and follow the GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 when you collect personal data.
