Real Nigerien IPs in Niamey and Zinder
Nigerien proxies on real connections: residential IPs on Starlink home connections in Niamey and Niger Telecoms lines in Zinder, plus mobile IPs on Niger Telecoms. Our Niger proxies give you a genuine Niger IP address in 3 regions, with rotating or sticky sessions. Start with a $1.97 trial, then pay as you go from 1 GB.
Priced per GB, not per IP: residential from $1.50/GB, mobile from $2.00/GB. Unused bandwidth rolls over.
Choose your Niger proxy type
Two ways to get a Niger IP address
Rotating residential
A Niger proxy server on real home connections: Starlink satellite internet in Niamey and Niger Telecoms lines in Zinder. Best for classifieds scraping, price monitoring and SERP tracking.
- Region, city, ZIP, ISP and ASN targeting
- New IP per request or sticky sessions
- OS fingerprint targeting (Windows, macOS, Linux, Android)
- Pay as you go from 1 GB
Rotating mobile
Niger mobile proxy IPs on Niger Telecoms, one of the country’s four mobile networks. Best for social media, app testing and strict anti-bot systems.
- Region, city, ZIP, carrier and ASN targeting
- OS fingerprint targeting
- Rotate on demand or keep a sticky session
Need the same IP for weeks at a time? Static residential proxies are not offered in Niger; use a sticky session to hold the same Nigerien IP on residential or mobile. Datacenter IPs are not available in Niger at the moment.
Niger at a glance
Why a local IP changes what you see
Search results, classified ads and telecom offers all depend on where a request comes from. A visitor in Niamey sees French-language pages and prices in CFA francs; a foreign server often gets a generic version, or is blocked. A real Nigerien home connection or Niger Telecoms phone looks like an ordinary local visitor.
| Fact | Figure | Why it matters for proxy work |
|---|---|---|
| Population | 17,138,707 (2012 census, final results) | A large, young audience that sites and advertisers segment by city and by language. |
| Capital | Niamey: 1,026,848 people in 2012, 6.0% of the population | Niamey is the one city you can target on both residential and mobile. |
| Most populous region | Zinder region: 3,539,764 people (20.7%) in 2012; the city of Zinder had 322,935 | Residential IPs can be pinned to the Zinder region and to Zinder city. |
| Currency | West African CFA franc (XOF, FCFA), issued by the BCEAO for its eight member states, Niger included | Nigerien shops and classifieds quote prices in FCFA, so collect them from the local version of a site. |
| Language | French is widely used in business; the statistics institute, telecom regulator and central bank all publish in French | Most Nigerien business sites, ads and searches are in French, and French speakers often search for a “proxy Niger”. |
| Mobile networks | Airtel Niger, Zamani Telecom (formerly Orange Niger), Moov Africa Niger and Niger Telecoms | Our mobile pool is on Niger Telecoms; the other three networks are not in it. |
| Country code | NE (Nigeria is NG) | Set NE in your proxy settings; NG gives you Nigerian IPs instead. |

What our Niger proxy coverage actually reaches
Read from the live API, not a brochure
Niger is a small market for proxy networks, so here is exactly what our Nigerien proxies can target today, taken from the same API our dashboard uses.
3 selectable regions
Residential IPs can be pinned to two regions: Niamey and Zinder. Mobile IPs can be pinned to two: Niamey and Agadez. The API lists no city or carrier detail in the Agadez region, so expect a small pool there. Other regions are not selectable today; a country-level session draws on the whole Nigerien pool.
2 targetable cities: Niamey and Zinder
Niamey, the capital, can be targeted on both residential and mobile; Zinder on residential only. These are the only two cities the API returns. Maradi, Tahoua and other towns cannot be targeted by name, so test with the $1.97 trial if you need them.
Niger mobile proxy carriers
Our mobile pool in Niger is on one network: Niger Telecoms. To be plain about the gap, the country’s three other mobile operators, Airtel Niger, Zamani Telecom and Moov Africa Niger, are not in the pool. Mobile IPs can be targeted by carrier, in the Niamey and Agadez regions and in Niamey city.
Nigerien fixed-line ISPs
Residential IPs come from two providers, one per city. In Niamey they run on Starlink, which has held a licence for fixed satellite internet in Niger since November 2024. In Zinder they run on Niger Telecoms, the operator formed in 2016 when Sonitel, the long-established fixed-line company, merged with its mobile sister network; it sells fixed internet as well as mobile plans.
Honest counts, real addresses. Two cities, two home ISPs and one mobile network will not suit a job that needs IPs across the whole country. They do cover the capital on residential and mobile, and Zinder, the most populous region in the 2012 census.

Free Niger proxy lists vs paid Nigerien proxies
Why free lists rarely work on Nigerien sites
Search for a free Niger proxy list and you will find a handful of entries at best. Most are open servers shared by thousands of people, offline within hours, often not in Niger at all (some are in Nigeria) and blocked by the sites you want to reach. A $1.97 trial of real Nigerien IPs costs less than the time lost on dead ones.
| Free Niger proxy lists | ProxyEmpire Nigerien proxies | |
|---|---|---|
| IP source | Open or hijacked servers, mostly data centres | Real Nigerien home connections and Niger Telecoms SIM cards |
| Uptime | Minutes to hours before an IP disappears | Always-on pool, with rotating or sticky sessions |
| Blocks | Usually blacklisted on major sites | Looks like an ordinary local visitor |
| Targeting | Country at best | Region, city, ZIP, ISP, ASN and OS fingerprint |
| Security | Unknown operator can log or alter your traffic | Authenticated access over HTTP(S) or SOCKS5 |
| Cost | Free | From $1.50/GB, with a $1.97 trial |

Niger proxy FAQ
Straight answers
What is a Nigerien proxy (NE proxy)?
A Nigerien proxy, or Niger proxy, is a server that gives you a Niger IP address, so websites treat you as a visitor from Niger. A Niger residential proxy goes one step further: it routes your traffic through a real home internet connection in Niamey or Zinder instead of a data centre, which makes it far less likely to be blocked.
Is this the Nigeria page?
No. Niger and Nigeria are different countries: Niger (country code NE, capital Niamey) lies to the north of Nigeria (NG, capital Abuja). This page is about Nigerien IPs. For Nigerian IPs, see our Nigeria proxies page.
Quel est le proxy du Niger ? (Is there a national Niger proxy?)
No. There is no single national “proxy du Niger”. If you need the proxy or APN settings for mobile data on your phone, your operator (Airtel Niger, Zamani Telecom, Moov Africa Niger or Niger Telecoms) provides them; they are usually set automatically, and its customer service can give you the correct values. ProxyEmpire is different: a paid service that gives businesses Nigerien IP addresses. En bref : pas de proxy national ; pour les paramètres APN, adressez-vous à votre opérateur.
Where does a Niger IP address from ProxyEmpire come from?
From real Nigerien connections: Starlink home connections in Niamey, Niger Telecoms lines in Zinder and Niger Telecoms SIM cards. They are not data-centre addresses registered to Niger, so websites see an ordinary local visitor.
Can I target specific cities or regions in Niger?
Yes, within today’s coverage: Niamey city on residential and mobile, Zinder city on residential, the Niamey and Zinder regions for residential IPs, and the Niamey and Agadez regions for mobile. ISP, carrier, ZIP, ASN and OS fingerprint targeting cost nothing extra. Towns such as Maradi or Tahoua are not available by name.
Do you offer Niger mobile proxies?
Yes, on Niger Telecoms. Airtel Niger, Zamani Telecom and Moov Africa Niger are not in our pool at the moment. Mobile IPs are shared by many real subscribers, so websites rarely block them.
Do you have Nigerien datacenter or static IPs?
Not at the moment. Datacenter and static residential proxies are not offered with Nigerien IPs. For a long-lived Niger IP, use a sticky session on residential or mobile.
How much do Niger proxies cost?
Rotating residential costs $3.50 for 1 GB on Pay As You Go and as little as $1.50/GB on larger plans; rotating mobile costs $4.50 for 1 GB, down to $2.00/GB. Plans are billed in US dollars, per GB rather than per IP, and Nigerien targeting is included. You can start with a $1.97 trial.
Can I keep the same Niger IP?
Yes. Rotating residential and mobile proxies both support sticky sessions, which hold the same Nigerien IP across requests instead of switching on every request.
Is using a proxy in Niger legal?
Proxies are a standard tool for price monitoring, SEO and ad verification. What matters is how you use them: respect websites’ terms of service, and follow Niger’s personal data law (Law No. 2022-59 of 16 December 2022, as amended), overseen by the HAPDP, whenever you collect personal data.
