Omani IPs from real homes and SIM cards
Omani proxies on real home broadband from Omantel, Ooredoo and Awasr, plus mobile IPs on Omantel and Vodafone Oman. Our Oman proxies reach Muscat, Seeb, Salalah and Saham across 4 of the 11 governorates, with rotating or sticky sessions.
Omani proxy servers priced per GB, not per IP. Unused bandwidth rolls over.
Choose your Oman proxy type
Two ways to get an Oman IP address
Rotating residential
Home broadband IPs on Omantel, Ooredoo and Awasr, from Muscat and Seeb on the coast to Salalah in the south. Best for scraping, price monitoring and SERP tracking.
- Governorate, city, ZIP, ISP and ASN targeting
- New IP per request or sticky sessions
- OS fingerprint targeting (Windows, macOS, Linux, Android)
Rotating mobile
Mobile IPs on the Omantel and Vodafone Oman networks, targetable in Muscat, North Al Batinah and Dhofar. Best for social media, app testing and the strictest anti-bot systems.
- Governorate, city, carrier and ASN targeting
- OS fingerprint targeting
- Rotate on demand or keep a sticky session
Need the same IP for weeks at a time? Static residential proxies are not offered in Oman. Use a sticky session to hold the same Omani IP on residential or mobile instead. Datacenter IPs are not available in Oman either.
Oman at a glance
Why a local IP changes what you see
Omani websites show Omani visitors a different internet. Prices in rials, the delivery areas offered at checkout, Google.com.om results and the ads served in Arabic and English all depend on where a request comes from. A request from a server abroad often lands on a regional or international version of the same site.
Location inside the country matters as well. Muscat and Seeb form one large urban market on the northern coast, while Salalah, in Dhofar in the south-west and roughly 1,000 km away by road, has its own shops, restaurants and seasonal travel demand.
Omani sites also look at the network behind each visit. On well-protected sites, data-centre traffic is flagged as a bot straight away, while an Omantel or Ooredoo home line, or a phone on Vodafone Oman, looks like an ordinary local customer, because that is what it is.
| Fact | Figure | Why it matters for proxy work |
|---|---|---|
| Population | About 5.45 million (September 2026); 56.5% Omani, 43.5% expatriate residents | A large international workforce means many sites run Arabic and English versions side by side, and both need checking from a local IP. |
| Governorates | 11 governorates; Muscat is the most densely populated, and Seeb has more Omani residents than any other wilayat (2025) | Our region targeting follows the governorates; four are in the pool, including Muscat. |
| Currency | Omani rial (OMR), divided into 1,000 baisa; fixed at US$2.6008 per rial since 1986 | Shops show prices in rials with three decimal places, so price checks from an Omani IP match what residents actually pay. |
| VAT | 5% standard rate since 16 April 2021 | Consumer prices include VAT, so the figure an Omani shopper sees differs from an export or overseas price. |
| Language | Arabic is the official language; English is common on retail, travel and business sites | Arabic pages read right to left, and localised pages, ads and search results should be checked in both languages. |
| Mobile networks | Three mobile operators: Omantel, Ooredoo Oman and Vodafone Oman, which launched in January 2022 | Our mobile pool runs on Omantel and Vodafone Oman; Ooredoo is covered on residential home lines. |
| Time zone and domain | UTC+4 all year; country domain .om | Schedule checks for Omani evening peak hours, and track rankings on Google.com.om rather than a generic Google. |

What our Oman proxy coverage actually reaches
Read from the live API, not a brochure
Many providers list Oman as a single country checkbox. Here you can run a proxy Oman-wide or pin a session to the governorate, city and network your target cares about. Everything below comes from the same API our dashboard uses, with nothing rounded up.
4 of Oman’s 11 governorates
Muscat, the capital governorate and the most densely populated, is covered, together with North Al Batinah on the northern coast, Dhofar in the south and Al Wusta in the centre of the country. Al Wusta can be targeted at governorate level only, with no city inside it. The other seven governorates, Musandam, Al Buraimi, Ad Dakhiliyah, South Al Batinah, North Ash Sharqiyah, South Ash Sharqiyah and Ad Dhahirah, are not in the residential pool at the moment.
4 targetable locations, from Muscat to Salalah
That is the full list, not a selection. Muscat and Seeb sit in Muscat Governorate; Seeb is a wilayat (district) on the coast west of the city centre and, by the latest official figures, home to more Omani residents than any other wilayat. Salalah is the main city of Dhofar, and Saham is a coastal wilayat in North Al Batinah. For a Muscat or Salalah proxy, pick the location in the dashboard.
Mobile carriers
Our Omani mobile pool runs on Omantel, the country’s first operator, and Vodafone Oman, the newest, which launched in January 2022. Mobile IPs can be targeted to Muscat, North Al Batinah and Dhofar governorates, and to Muscat at city level. To be plain about it: Ooredoo Oman, one of the three mobile operators, is not in the mobile pool at the moment. If a target needs Ooredoo traffic specifically, use residential proxies on Ooredoo home broadband instead.
Fixed-line ISPs
Residential IPs come from three Omani home-internet brands: Omantel, Ooredoo Oman and Awasr, a fibre broadband provider for homes and businesses. A small number of addresses in the pool sit on international carrier networks; they are not counted as Omani ISPs here.
Why the network mix matters. Anti-bot systems know which networks Omani homes use. Spreading sessions across Omantel, Ooredoo and Awasr home lines, or switching to an Omantel or Vodafone mobile IP, keeps your traffic looking like everyday Omani users rather than one busy connection.
What teams use Omani proxies for
Common workloads on our Omani network
E-commerce price monitoring
Track prices, stock and delivery options on Omani online shops and the Oman storefronts of regional marketplaces exactly as local shoppers see them, in rials and including VAT.
Local SEO & SERP tracking
Check Google.com.om rankings, map packs and ads from Muscat or Salalah, in Arabic or English, instead of from one generic location outside the country.
Classifieds & property data
Collect listings from Dubizzle Oman to follow used-car prices, rents and property asking prices in Muscat, Seeb and Salalah, without CAPTCHAs skewing the sample.
Ad verification & localisation
Confirm that campaigns aimed at Oman run on the placements you paid for, show prices in rials, and that Arabic ads and landing pages display correctly from right to left.
Delivery apps & local offers
Compare menus, delivery fees and delivery areas on Talabat from different Omani locations, as local customers see them.
Travel & app testing
Record Oman Air fares and Salalah hotel prices in the summer khareef season as Omani visitors see them, and test apps from Omantel or Vodafone mobile IPs so sessions look like a local phone.

Free Oman proxy lists vs paid Omani proxies
Why a free Oman proxy rarely works
A free Oman proxy is easy to find on public lists, but most entries are open servers that thousands of other users have already scanned and abused. They go offline within hours, are rarely on an Omani home network at all, and are blacklisted by the sites you want to reach.
| Free Oman proxy lists | ProxyEmpire Omani proxies | |
|---|---|---|
| IP source | Open or hijacked servers, mostly data centres | Real Omani homes and Omantel and Vodafone SIM cards |
| Uptime | Minutes to hours before an IP disappears | Always-on pool, with rotating or sticky sessions |
| Blocks | Usually blacklisted on major sites | Looks like an ordinary local visitor |
| Targeting | Country at best | Governorate, city, ZIP, ISP, ASN and OS fingerprint |
| Security | Unknown operator can log or alter your traffic | Authenticated access over HTTP(S) or SOCKS5 |
| Cost | Free | From $1.50/GB, with a $1.97 trial |

Oman proxy FAQ
Straight answers
What is an Omani proxy server?
An Omani proxy server gives you an IP address in Oman, so websites treat you as a visitor from the country. An Oman residential proxy goes one step further: it routes your traffic through a real household’s connection on a network like Omantel, Ooredoo or Awasr instead of a data centre, which makes it far less likely to be flagged. In the dashboard this is country code OM, so an OM proxy, an Oman proxy and an Omani proxy all mean the same pool.
How do I get an Oman IP address?
Sign up, choose Oman as the country and connect through the endpoint the dashboard generates. Each request then leaves through a proxy server Oman-based websites see as a local visitor.
Can I target specific Omani governorates, cities or ISPs?
Yes. Residential proxies can be targeted to 4 of the 11 governorates (Muscat, North Al Batinah, Dhofar and Al Wusta), to Muscat, Seeb, Salalah and Saham, and to Omantel, Ooredoo or Awasr. ZIP code, ASN and OS fingerprint targeting are also included. Mobile proxies add governorate targeting in Muscat, North Al Batinah and Dhofar.
Do you offer Oman mobile proxies?
Yes, on the Omantel and Vodafone Oman networks. Mobile IPs are shared by many real subscribers, which makes them among the hardest traffic for websites to tell apart from ordinary users. Ooredoo Oman mobile IPs are not available at the moment.
Do you have Oman datacenter or static IPs?
Not at the moment. Datacenter and static residential proxies are not offered with Omani IPs. For a long-lived Omani IP, use a sticky session on residential or mobile.
How much do Oman proxies cost?
Rotating residential starts at $1.50/GB on larger plans and rotating mobile at $2.00/GB. Omani targeting is included at no extra charge, and you can start with a $1.97 trial.
Can I keep the same Oman IP?
Yes. Rotating residential and mobile proxies both support sticky sessions, which keep the same Omani IP across requests instead of switching on every request.
Which protocols and tools are supported?
HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5. The proxies work with any scraper, headless browser, anti-detect browser or HTTP library, and there is no limit on concurrent sessions.
Why not use a free Oman proxy?
Free proxies are slow, flagged on most major sites, and often run by operators who log or resell your traffic. For anything work-related, a paid residential proxy is safer and far more reliable.
Can I use Omani proxies for business?
Yes. Proxies are a standard tool for market research, price monitoring, SEO and ad verification. What matters is how you use them: respect websites’ terms of service, and follow Oman’s Personal Data Protection Law, in force since February 2023 and overseen by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, whenever you collect personal data.
