Real Myanmar IPs on 30+ local networks
Myanmar proxies on real home connections and local mobile networks. Our Myanmar proxy pool covers 10 regions and states and 7 cities, from Yangon and Mandalay to Nay Pyi Taw, so you can see Myanmar-facing sites and apps the way local visitors do, with rotating or sticky sessions.
Pay per GB, not per IP. Unused bandwidth rolls over.
Choose your Myanmar proxy type
Two ways to get a Myanmar IP address
Rotating residential
Home connections in Yangon, Mandalay, Nay Pyi Taw and four more cities, on more than 30 local networks including MPT, 5BB and Frontiir. Best for price research, local search checks and seeing Myanmar-facing sites as a local visitor would.
- Region, city, ISP and ASN targeting
- New IP per request or sticky sessions
- OS fingerprint targeting (Windows, macOS, Linux, Android)
Rotating mobile
Mobile IPs on the ATOM and Mytel networks in Yangon, Mandalay and Bago. Best for app testing, mobile ad checks and mobile-first pages that treat phone traffic differently.
- Region, carrier and ASN targeting
- OS fingerprint targeting
- Rotate on demand or keep a sticky session
Need the same IP for weeks at a time? Static residential proxies are not offered in Myanmar, so use sticky sessions to hold the same Myanmar IP on residential or mobile. Datacenter IPs are not available in Myanmar either.
Myanmar at a glance
Why a local IP changes what you see
Sites and apps built for people in Myanmar often behave differently for visitors from abroad. Prices, currency, the language and font a page opens in, which products and delivery areas appear and how fast a page loads can all depend on where a request comes from.
Home connections in Myanmar run on MPT and a long list of fixed-line and fibre providers, and phones run on four networks: MPT, ATOM, U9 and Mytel. A request from one of those networks in Yangon or Mandalay is what a Myanmar-facing service expects to see. A request from a foreign data centre is not, so the most reliable way to check what local users get is a Myanmar IP address.
| Fact | Figure | Why it matters for proxy work |
|---|---|---|
| Capital | Nay Pyi Taw; Yangon is the largest city | Both are targetable as cities on our residential network, and Yangon on mobile too. |
| Currency | Myanmar kyat (MMK) | Check which prices a shopper in Myanmar is shown, and whether a site quotes kyat or US dollars. |
| Language & script | Myanmar language, in Myanmar script; Unicode is the standard since October 2019, but older Zawgyi-encoded text still turns up | Pages, ads and apps need checking in both encodings, as local users see them, so text does not show up as broken characters. |
| Time zone | UTC+6:30 all year, no clock changes | The half-hour offset catches out schedulers; plan daily checks and time-limited offers on Yangon time. |
| Country domain | .mm | Local services such as the marketplace Shop.com.mm run on .mm addresses, which are worth testing from inside the country. |
| Mobile networks | MPT, ATOM (formerly Telenor Myanmar), U9 (formerly Ooredoo Myanmar, renamed September 2025) and Mytel | ATOM and Mytel are selectable as carriers on our mobile pool; MPT and U9 are not at the moment. |

What our Myanmar proxy coverage actually reaches
Read from the live API, not a brochure
We would rather show real numbers than pad them. Here is exactly what you can target today, whether you run a proxy Myanmar-wide or pin it to one city, pulled from the same API our dashboard uses.
10 regions and states
Residential IPs cover all ten. Mobile IPs cover three of them: Yangon, Mandalay and Bago. In Bago, Kayah and Mon you target at region or state level, as no city is listed there.
7 targetable cities, including Yangon and Mandalay
That is Yangon, Mandalay and Nay Pyi Taw, plus Monywa in Sagaing, Myitkyina in Kachin, Pathein in Ayeyarwady and Tachileik in Shan. City targeting applies to residential IPs; on mobile, you choose a region and a carrier. Anywhere else in the pool, target by region, by state or by country.
Mobile carriers
To be plain about it: two of Myanmar’s four mobile networks are selectable today. ATOM, formerly Telenor Myanmar, and Mytel both carry our mobile IPs. MPT and U9, formerly Ooredoo Myanmar, are not selectable as mobile carriers at the moment, so if a job depends on one of them by name, check with us first. MPT home connections are available on residential.
Fixed-line ISPs
Residential IPs run on more than 30 Myanmar networks. The big names include MPT, 5BB, Frontiir, Myanmar Broadband Telecom, Yatanarpon Teleport, AnyNet and Global Technology, with ATOM and Mytel home lines too. Smaller and regional providers such as Myanmar Unilink, TelcoSpeed and Tachileik Net round out the list, which counts each company once even where our API lists it under two names.
Honest counts, real addresses. Seven cities will not suit a job that needs hundreds of different Myanmar locations. What the pool does offer is breadth of networks: more than 30 local ISPs across ten regions and states, which is what most teams need for seeing what a local visitor sees in Yangon and Mandalay, testing an app on a local connection and verifying ads from a real Myanmar address.
What teams use Myanmar proxies for
Common workloads on our Myanmar network
Marketplace price research
Track prices, stock, delivery options and cash-on-delivery offers on Shop.com.mm and other Myanmar online stores the way a shopper in Yangon or Mandalay sees them, in kyat.
Local search checks
Check Myanmar-language Google results, rankings and local ads from Yangon, Mandalay or Nay Pyi Taw instead of guessing from abroad.
Property & car listings
Follow listings on iMyanmarHouse and CarsDB to compare rents, house prices and used-car prices city by city, as local buyers see them.
Ad verification & localisation
Confirm that campaigns aimed at Myanmar render on the placements you paid for, and that Myanmar script, fonts and kyat prices display correctly on desktop and mobile.
App & mobile testing
Test how Myanmar-facing Android and iOS apps install, load and perform on ATOM and Mytel mobile connections and on local home broadband.
Travel & hotel pricing
Compare the hotel, tour and flight prices that travel sites show to visitors in Myanmar with what the same sites show elsewhere, in kyat and in US dollars.

Free Myanmar proxy lists vs paid Myanmar proxies
What you actually get from a free Myanmar proxy
Many people searching for a Myanmar proxy are looking for a free proxy server or a free web proxy: a site where you paste a URL and it loads the page for you. ProxyEmpire is not one of those services, is not connected to any of them and has no free tier. We sell authenticated proxy access with Myanmar IP addresses to businesses and research teams outside Myanmar, for use in browsers, scrapers and testing tools, and the cheapest way to try it is the $1.97 trial.
Free Myanmar proxy lists cost nothing, but you rarely know where the server is, who runs it or what it does with your traffic. Here is how they compare with a paid proxy in Myanmar.
| Free Myanmar proxy lists | ProxyEmpire Myanmar proxies | |
|---|---|---|
| IP source | Open or hijacked servers, mostly data centres, not always in Myanmar | Real Myanmar home connections and local mobile connections |
| Uptime | Minutes to hours before an IP disappears | Always-on pool, with rotating or sticky sessions |
| Detection | Usually blacklisted on major sites | Looks like an ordinary local visitor |
| Targeting | Country at best | Region, city, ISP, ASN and OS fingerprint |
| Security | Unknown operator can log or alter your traffic | Authenticated access over HTTP(S) or SOCKS5 |
| Cost | Free | From $1.50/GB, with a $1.97 trial |

Myanmar proxy FAQ
Straight answers
What is a Myanmar (Burma) proxy?
A Myanmar proxy, or MM proxy, routes your traffic through an IP address in Myanmar, so websites and apps treat you as a visitor there. Burmese proxies on our network come in two kinds: a Myanmar residential proxy uses a real home connection on a local ISP such as MPT or 5BB, and a mobile proxy uses an ATOM or Mytel mobile connection.
How do I get a Myanmar IP address?
Sign up, choose Myanmar as the country in the dashboard and copy the endpoint into your browser or tool over HTTP(S) or SOCKS5. Every request then leaves from a real Myanmar home or mobile connection, so the sites you check see a local IP. You can start with the $1.97 trial.
Is ProxyEmpire a free Myanmar proxy server?
No. ProxyEmpire is a paid, authenticated proxy service, not a free Myanmar proxy server or a type-a-URL web proxy site, and it is not affiliated with any free proxy site. It is built for businesses outside Myanmar that need Myanmar IP addresses for research and testing, and you plug the endpoints into a browser or tool, starting with a $1.97 trial.
Can I target specific Myanmar regions, cities or ISPs?
Yes. Residential proxies cover 10 regions and states and 7 cities, including Yangon, Mandalay and Nay Pyi Taw, on more than 30 local ISPs. You can also target by ASN and OS fingerprint at no extra charge.
Do you offer Myanmar mobile proxies?
Yes, on the ATOM and Mytel networks in Yangon, Mandalay and Bago. City targeting is not available on mobile, so you choose a region and a carrier. MPT and U9 are not selectable as mobile carriers at the moment.
Do you have Myanmar datacenter or static IPs?
Not at the moment. Datacenter and static residential proxies are not offered with Myanmar IPs. For a long-lived Myanmar IP, use a sticky session on residential or mobile.
How much do Myanmar proxies cost?
Rotating residential starts at $1.50/GB on larger plans and rotating mobile at $2.00/GB, billed in US dollars. Myanmar targeting is included at no extra charge, and you can start with a $1.97 trial.
Can I keep the same Myanmar IP?
Yes. Rotating residential and mobile proxies both support sticky sessions, which hold the same Myanmar IP across requests instead of switching on every request. There is no limit on concurrent sessions.
Is a free Myanmar proxy list good enough?
For a one-off look at a page, sometimes. For regular work, no. Free entries are slow, often flagged, may not be in Myanmar at all and are run by operators who may log your traffic, with no way to choose the city or network.
Is using a proxy legal?
Proxies are a standard networking tool. What matters is how you use them: respect each site’s terms of service and follow the rules that apply to you and to any personal data you collect.
