Three ways to get a Vietnamese IP
Rotating residential
Our Vietnam residential proxy pool: home broadband IPs on VNPT, Viettel and FPT Telecom, from the Red River Delta to the Mekong Delta. Best for marketplace scraping, price monitoring and SERP tracking.
- Region, city, ZIP, ISP and ASN targeting
- New IP per request or sticky sessions
- OS fingerprint targeting (Windows, macOS, Linux, Android)
- Pay as you go from 1 GB
Rotating mobile
Vietnam mobile proxy IPs on Viettel, VinaPhone, MobiFone and Vietnamobile. Best for social media, app testing and the strictest anti-bot systems.
- Region, city, ZIP, carrier and ASN targeting
- OS fingerprint targeting
- Rotate on demand or keep a sticky session
Rotating datacenter
Fast, low-cost Vietnamese datacenter IPs. Best for high-volume jobs on sites with light bot protection.
- Vietnam country-level targeting
- New IP per request or sticky sessions
- Lowest cost per GB for bulk traffic
- Plans from 40 GB for $25
Need the same IP for weeks at a time? Static residential proxies are not offered in Vietnam. The nearest static locations are Hong Kong and Singapore, or use sticky sessions to hold the same Vietnamese IP on any of the three proxy types above.
Vietnam at a glance
Why a local IP changes what you see
Search results on Google.com.vn, prices and shipping fees on Shopee, Lazada and Tiki, and the ads shown to Vietnamese users all depend on where a request comes from. A shopper in Ho Chi Minh City and one in Hanoi can see different delivery times, vouchers and stock on the same listing.
Vietnam is also a mobile-first market, with more mobile broadband subscriptions than people. To a Vietnamese website, a phone on Viettel or VinaPhone is an entirely ordinary visitor.
Vietnamese sites also check the network: data-centre traffic is flagged as a bot straight away, while a VNPT, Viettel or FPT Telecom home connection looks like an ordinary household.
| Fact | Figure | Why it matters for proxy work |
|---|---|---|
| Population | 102.3 million (2025 average) | Volume is there when a job needs many different IPs. |
| Provinces | 34 provincial-level units since 1 July 2025 (28 provinces, 6 cities), down from 63 | Our API still uses the 63 older names (see below). |
| Mobile internet | 110.5 million mobile broadband subscriptions; 91.3% on smartphones | Mobile IPs match how the typical Vietnamese visitor connects. |
| Digital payments | Non-cash transactions up 42.21% in 2025; QR-code payments up 50.94% | Checkout flows built around QR codes are best tested from a Vietnamese session. |
| Currency | Vietnamese ฤแปng (VND, โซ), issued by the State Bank of Vietnam | Prices and shipping fees have to be read on the Vietnamese version of a site. |
| Language | Vietnamese, in a Latin script with diacritics (Viแปt Nam) | Google.com.vn and most local sites default to Vietnamese. |
| Mobile networks | Viettel, VinaPhone (VNPT), MobiFone, Vietnamobile | We reach all four; virtual operators such as iTel and Wintel buy capacity from them. |

What our Vietnam coverage actually reaches
Read from the live API, not a brochure
Pin a session to the region, town and network your target cares about, as listed by the same API our dashboard uses.
63 regions, under Vietnam’s pre-2025 province names
Vietnam merged its 63 provinces and cities into 34 units on 1 July 2025, but our API still lists the 63 older names, and those are what you target: Binh Duong, for example, is now part of Ho Chi Minh City, and Hai Duong part of Hai Phong. Each of today’s 34 units contains at least one of them.
103 targetable locations, including 74 towns and cities
All 74 towns and cities in the API are listed below. The other 29 locations are urban districts such as District 1 and Binh Thanh in Ho Chi Minh City, Cau Giay and Tay Ho in Hanoi and Ninh Kieu in Can Tho, plus a few rural districts and wards. Districts are no longer administrative units, but they still work as targets.
Vietnam mobile proxy carriers
Vietnam has four mobile network operators, and all four are in our mobile pool. MobiFone Global, a MobiFone subsidiary listed in our API, is counted under MobiFone. Virtual operators such as iTel, Wintel and Local have no network of their own, so they are not a separate option.
Fixed-line ISPs
The three big national broadband providers are covered: VNPT, Viettel and FPT Telecom. So are two smaller networks, SCTV (the Saigontourist cable operator) and NetNam: five fixed-line networks in total.
Why town targeting matters more than ISP count. Because VNPT, Viettel and FPT Telecom are the big national operators, the ISP alone says little about a visitor. The town and region change the page, so spreading sessions across many locations, or pinning one to the right town, is what makes traffic look local.
What teams use Vietnamese proxies for
Common workloads on our Vietnamese network
Marketplace scraping & price monitoring
Track prices, vouchers, flash sales and shipping fees on Shopee, Lazada and Tiki exactly as Vietnamese shoppers see them, in ฤแปng and town by town.
Google.com.vn SERP tracking
Check Google.com.vn rankings, map packs and ads from Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi or Da Nang, in Vietnamese or English, instead of one generic “Vietnam” location.
Social media & app testing
Test apps such as Zalo and run social accounts from mobile IPs on Viettel, VinaPhone or MobiFone, so sessions look like a local phone rather than a server.
Electronics & retail pricing
Follow phone, laptop and appliance prices and promotions at Thแบฟ Giแปi Di ฤแปng as local buyers see them.
Classifieds & property data
Collect listings from Chแปฃ Tแปt and Batdongsan.com.vn to follow used-car values, rents and house prices region by region.
Ad verification & localisation
Confirm that campaigns aimed at Vietnam run on the placements you paid for, town by town.

Free Vietnam proxy lists vs paid Vietnamese proxies
Why free lists rarely work on Vietnamese sites
Free Vietnam proxy lists are easy to find, but most entries are open servers already abused by thousands of users. They go offline within hours and are blacklisted by the Vietnamese marketplaces and apps you want to reach.
| Free Vietnam proxy lists | ProxyEmpire Vietnamese proxies | |
|---|---|---|
| IP source | Open or hijacked servers, mostly data centres | Real Vietnamese homes and Viettel, VinaPhone, MobiFone and Vietnamobile SIM cards |
| Uptime | Minutes to hours before an IP disappears | Always-on pool, with rotating or sticky sessions |
| Blocks | Usually blacklisted on major Vietnamese sites | Looks like an ordinary local visitor |
| Targeting | Country at best | Region, city, ZIP, ISP, ASN and OS fingerprint |
| Security | Unknown operator can log or alter your traffic | Authenticated access over HTTP(S) or SOCKS5 |
| Cost | Free | From $1.50/GB, with a $1.97 trial |

Vietnam proxy FAQ
Straight answers
What is a Vietnam proxy, or Viet Nam IP proxy?
A Vietnam proxy gives you a Vietnam IP address, so websites treat you as a visitor from Viet Nam, as the country spells its name in English. A Vietnam residential proxy goes one step further: it routes your traffic through a real Vietnamese household’s connection, on a network like VNPT, Viettel or FPT Telecom, instead of a data centre. That makes it far less likely to be blocked.
Can I target specific Vietnamese regions, cities or ISPs?
Yes. You can target 63 regions (listed under the pre-2025 province names), 103 locations including 74 towns and cities, and ISPs such as VNPT, Viettel and FPT Telecom. Residential and mobile proxies can also be targeted by ZIP code, ASN and OS fingerprint. Datacenter proxies are targeted at country level.
Do you offer Vietnam mobile proxies?
Yes. Rotating mobile proxies are available on all four Vietnamese network operators: Viettel, VinaPhone, MobiFone and Vietnamobile. Mobile IPs are shared by many real subscribers, so they are hard for websites to block.
Do you have Vietnamese datacenter proxies?
Yes. Rotating datacenter proxies with Vietnamese IPs start at $25 for 40 GB and go down to $0.35/GB, targeted at country level. For Shopee, Lazada and other well-protected sites, use residential or mobile IPs.
How much do Vietnam proxies cost?
Rotating residential starts at $1.50/GB on larger plans, rotating mobile at $2.00/GB and rotating datacenter at $0.35/GB. Vietnamese targeting is included at no extra charge, and you can start with a $1.97 trial.
Can I buy a Vietnam proxy without a subscription?
Yes. Pay As You Go lets you buy a single GB of residential traffic for $3.50 and top up only when you need more. Unused bandwidth rolls over.
Can I keep the same Vietnamese IP?
Yes. Rotating residential, mobile and datacenter proxies all support sticky sessions, which keep the same Vietnamese IP across requests instead of switching on every request. Static residential IPs are not offered in Vietnam; the nearest static locations are Hong Kong and Singapore.
Which protocols and tools are supported?
HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5. The proxies work with any scraper, headless browser, anti-detect browser or HTTP library, and there is no limit on concurrent sessions.
Why not use a free Vietnam proxy?
Free proxies are slow, blocked on most major sites, and often run by operators who log or resell your traffic. For anything work-related, a paid residential proxy is safer and far more reliable.
Is using a proxy legal in Vietnam?
Proxies are a standard tool for price monitoring, SEO and ad verification. What matters is how you use them: respect websites’ terms of service, and follow the Law on Personal Data Protection (Law No. 91/2025/QH15, in force since 1 January 2026) whenever you collect personal data.
