Residential and static IPs for gamers, streamers and game studios
Gaming proxies from ProxyEmpire give your browser, launcher or testing tool a residential, static ISP or 4G mobile IP in the country or city you choose. Keep your home IP private on the sites and services around your games, test stores, launchers and mobile games the way players in each region see them, and give every account you manage its own steady connection.
Static ISP from $2.00/IP a month, residential from $1.50/GB, mobile from $2.00/GB. Unused bandwidth rolls over.
What is a gaming proxy?
A private IP for launchers, stores, accounts and testing
A gaming proxy, or proxy server for gaming, is an IP address your browser, game launcher, testing tool or phone connects through when it reaches a game’s website, store, account system or API. The service sees that IP, in the location and network you picked, instead of your home or office connection. ProxyEmpire’s network has residential IPs in 179 countries and territories, 4G mobile IPs in 174, and static ISP IPs in 24 countries.
It helps to be clear about what a proxy does in gaming. It changes the IP that web services, stores, launchers and account systems see, which is what players who want to keep their home IP private, and studios that test by region, need. It does not make your ping lower: routing through a proxy adds a step, so real-time gameplay is best left on your direct connection. Many games also send gameplay over UDP straight to their servers, outside the proxy.
Unlike a “proxy games” or unblocked games website, where you play browser games inside someone else’s page, ProxyEmpire is a private proxy network that you add to your own browser, tools or phone.
Why gamers and game studios use proxies
Privacy for players, regional testing for studios
Keep your home IP private
Streamers and competitive players use a steady residential IP for the web services, forums, chat tools and sites around their games, so their home IP isn’t exposed there.
Regional QA & localisation
Studios test store pages, launchers, age gates, language versions and in-game offers from each region, the way players there see them.
Mobile game testing
Mobile studios check app store listings, in-app offers, ads and sign-up flows on real 4G carrier IPs in each launch market.
Store & pricing research
Publishers see how their games, bundles and discounts appear on digital storefronts in each country, and how competitors price theirs.
Esports & community teams
Organisations run team, player and tournament accounts on Twitch, Discord and YouTube, each on its own steady IP.
Game analytics & ad checks
Analytics teams follow store rankings and reviews by market, and marketers verify game ads by country. More on proxies for ad verification.

How to use proxies for gaming
Five habits for a good setup
Keep gameplay direct. Play matches on your normal connection for the lowest ping, and use the proxy for the web, store, account and chat side of gaming.
Use a static IP for accounts you sign in to daily. A static ISP proxy keeps every login from the same place, which game platforms treat as normal.
Test from the player’s region. For QA and store checks, pick the country and city your players are in, and a mobile IP for mobile games.
One account, one IP. If you manage several team, player or creator accounts, give each its own sticky session or static IP and its own browser profile in one of the popular anti-detect browsers that integrate with ProxyEmpire.
Skip free proxies. Free and public proxies are slow, shared and run by strangers who can see your logins. Never sign in to a game account through one.
ProxyEmpire is built for legitimate play, testing and account management. Each game’s and platform’s terms still apply on any IP, and we don’t support cheating, account theft, fraud or any illegal activity.

Gaming proxy FAQ
Straight answers
Will a proxy lower my ping?
Usually not. A proxy adds a step between you and the game, and many games send real-time gameplay over UDP directly to their servers anyway. Proxies are for the web, store, account and testing side of gaming, not for cutting latency.
What is the best proxy for gaming?
For players and streamers, a static residential (ISP) proxy: one private, steady IP for the services around your games. For studios testing by region, rotating residential proxies, and for mobile games, 4G mobile proxies.
Is ProxyEmpire a proxy games website?
No. “Proxy games” and game proxy websites are pages that let you play browser games inside someone else’s site, often to get round school or work filters. ProxyEmpire is a private proxy network for players, streamers and studios, used in your own browser, tools and phone.
Do you offer game server proxies or DDoS protection?
No. A game server proxy that shields a server you host from attacks is a different product. ProxyEmpire provides outgoing residential, mobile and static IPs for players, testers and studios.
Can game studios test regional stores and offers with proxies?
Yes. That is one of the most common uses: set the proxy to a country or city and check store pages, launchers, age gates, prices and in-game offers as players there see them, on desktop or on real mobile carrier IPs.
Can a proxy keep my IP private while I stream?
A static residential proxy keeps your home IP off the websites, forums, chat tools and services you connect to through it. Game traffic that goes directly to a game’s servers, and the streaming software’s upload to your streaming platform, use their own connections, so check which apps you route through the proxy.
Which protocols do gaming proxies support?
HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5, in host:port:username:password format. They work in browsers, launchers and tools that accept a proxy, and on phones through the Wi-Fi proxy settings.
How much do gaming proxies cost?
Static ISP IPs cost from $2.00 per IP a month, rotating residential starts at $3.50 for 1 GB and goes down to $1.50/GB, and 4G mobile goes down to $2.00/GB. A $1.97 trial lets you test first.
Is there a free gaming proxy?
Free proxy lists exist, but they are slow, shared by thousands of people and run by operators who can see your logins. Never sign in to a game account through one. The $1.97 trial is the low-cost way to test real IPs instead.
