For Singapore, the government publishes official transaction data you can query for free, and for public listing pages you can run your own scraper through residential proxies in Singapore or Malaysia.

Does PropertyGuru have an API?
The short answer, and what it means for you
No. PropertyGuru, the property portal behind propertyguru.com.sg and propertyguru.com.my, doesn’t publish a public developer API for searching or downloading its listings. Listings reach the portal from agents through PropertyGuru’s own agent tools, and access to its data for other businesses is a matter for a commercial agreement with PropertyGuru.
Most people searching for a PropertyGuru API want one of three things: listing data such as asking prices and rents, actual transaction prices, or a way to publish their own listings. Transaction prices in Singapore are available officially: HDB publishes resale flat prices on data.gov.sg with a free API, and the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) offers a Data Service API for private residential transactions and rentals after you register. Publishing listings is done through PropertyGuru’s agent tools. Public listing pages cover the rest, and that is where a scraper and proxies come in.

Does PropertyGuru have an API?
Not a public one. PropertyGuru doesn’t publish a developer API for its listings. Agents use PropertyGuru’s own tools to publish listings, and other data access is by commercial agreement with PropertyGuru.
Is there a free Singapore property data API?
Yes, for transactions. HDB resale flat prices are on data.gov.sg with a free API, and URA’s Data Service API covers private residential transactions and rentals after registration. Neither covers asking prices on PropertyGuru.
Can I get PropertyGuru data for Malaysia?
There’s no public API for Malaysia either. You can collect public listing pages on propertyguru.com.my with Malaysian residential IPs.
Is scraping PropertyGuru legal?
Collecting publicly available facts such as prices and sizes is legal in many countries, but PropertyGuru sets its own terms, listing photos and descriptions are usually protected by copyright, and agent details are personal data under Singapore’s and Malaysia’s personal data protection laws. Check with your legal adviser for your use case.
