Luxembourgish IPs from real homes and SIM cards
Luxembourg proxies on real home broadband from six local ISPs, including POST, Tango and Orange, and on the POST and Orange mobile networks. Target Luxembourg City, Esch-sur-Alzette or Remich, or the cantons around them, with rotating or sticky sessions.
Pay per GB, not per IP. Unused bandwidth rolls over.
Choose your Luxembourg proxy type
Two ways to get a Luxembourg IP address
Rotating residential
A Luxembourg proxy server on real home fibre and cable, from POST and Tango to Luxembourg Online and Eltrona. Best for scraping, price monitoring and SERP tracking on Google.lu.
- Canton, city, ZIP, ISP and ASN targeting
- New IP per request or sticky sessions
- OS fingerprint targeting (Windows, macOS, Linux, Android)
Rotating mobile
Luxembourgish mobile IPs on POST and Orange SIM cards. Best for social media, app testing and the strictest anti-bot systems.
- Canton, city, ZIP, carrier and ASN targeting
- OS fingerprint targeting
- Rotate on demand or keep a sticky session
Need the same IP for weeks at a time? Static residential proxies are not offered in Luxembourg. The nearest static locations are Belgium, France and Germany, or use sticky sessions to hold the same Luxembourg IP on residential or mobile. Datacenter IPs are not available in Luxembourg either; all three neighbours have them.
Luxembourg at a glance
Why a local IP changes what you see
Search results on Google.lu, prices at Cactus and on Letzshop, listings on atHome.lu, and the ads shown to readers of RTL.lu all depend on where a request comes from. Many retailers run separate shops for Luxembourg and for each neighbour, so a French or Belgian IP often lands on a different storefront, with different prices, VAT and delivery terms.
That matters more in Luxembourg than almost anywhere else, because well over 200,000 people commute in from France, Belgium and Germany, and much of the traffic reaching Luxembourgish sites comes from next door. Only a Luxembourg IP shows you the Luxembourg version.
Sites also check what kind of network a visitor is on. On well-protected sites, data centre traffic is flagged as a bot straight away, while a POST fibre line or an Orange SIM looks like an ordinary customer in Luxembourg, because it is one.
| Fact | Figure | Why it matters for proxy work |
|---|---|---|
| Population | 690,959 on 1 January 2026; 46.6% are foreign nationals | A small, very international market, so exact canton, city and ISP targeting matters more than raw volume. |
| Local government | 12 cantons and 100 communes; Luxembourg City 137,678 residents, Esch-sur-Alzette 38,275 | Our region level for Luxembourg is the canton, and 3 of the 12 can be targeted directly. |
| Languages | Luxembourgish, French and German, under the 1984 language law | The same site may serve French, German, Luxembourgish and English pages, and a local IP gets the version Luxembourg users see. |
| Currency | Euro (EUR); the Banque centrale du Luxembourg is part of the Eurosystem | Prices are in euros like next door, so only a Luxembourg IP separates Luxembourg prices from French, Belgian or German ones. |
| VAT | 17% standard rate; 14%, 8% and 3% reduced rates | Gross prices shown to Luxembourg visitors differ from those shown in France, Belgium or Germany, where standard VAT is higher. |
| Cross-border workers | 225,840 in 2023: 54.2% from France, 23.0% from Germany, 22.7% from Belgium | Much of the traffic Luxembourgish sites receive comes from neighbouring networks, so only a local IP is reliably treated as a Luxembourg visitor. |
| Online life | 99% of people aged 16β74 used the internet in the past year; 80% bought online (2025) | Most adults shop online, so price, marketplace and SERP data is worth tracking closely. |
| Mobile networks | POST, Orange and Tango run the national networks | Two of the three are in our mobile pool, so mobile traffic looks like an ordinary local subscriber. |
| EU & Schengen | Founding member of the European Communities (1957); the Schengen Agreement was signed at Schengen, Luxembourg, in 1985 | GDPR applies, and EU geo-restricted content treats Luxembourg IPs as fully European. |

What our Luxembourg proxy coverage actually reaches
Read from the live API, not a brochure
Luxembourg is small, and so is the list below: it comes straight from the API our dashboard uses, with nothing padded. Run a proxy Luxembourg-wide at country level, or pin a session to a canton, a city or a named network.
3 of Luxembourg’s 12 cantons
The region level for Luxembourg is the canton, not the commune. The three cantons we cover are home to 435,907 people, 63% of all residents: the Luxembourg canton around the capital (213,766), the Esch-sur-Alzette canton in the south, which also takes in Differdange, Dudelange and PΓ©tange (197,314), and the Remich canton on the Moselle, with Mondorf-les-Bains and Schengen (24,827). The other nine cantons are not separate targets at the moment, among them Capellen, Mersch, Grevenmacher and the northern cantons of Diekirch, Clervaux and Wiltz.
3 city targets
Luxembourg City is the capital and largest commune (137,678 residents), Esch-sur-Alzette the second largest (38,275) and Remich a small Moselle town (4,156). Other communes, such as Differdange or Dudelange, are not separate city targets, so use the canton instead.
Mobile carriers
POST and Orange Luxembourg are in our mobile pool. Tango, the third national mobile network, is not in our mobile pool at the moment, although Tango home connections are covered on the residential side. Our API lists Orange under its parent company, Orange Belgium, which owns Orange Luxembourg.
Fixed-line ISPs
Six Luxembourgish broadband providers can be targeted by name: POST Luxembourg, the incumbent operator; Tango, the consumer brand of Proximus Luxembourg; Orange Luxembourg; Luxembourg Online; Eltrona, a cable, TV and internet provider; and Visual Online, a fibre provider.
Why the network mix matters. Anti-bot systems look at which network a request comes from. Spreading sessions across POST, Tango and Orange lines, with a share of Luxembourg Online, Eltrona and Visual Online, makes your traffic look like ordinary households in Luxembourg rather than one busy connection.
What teams use Luxembourgish proxies for
Common workloads on our Luxembourg network
E-commerce price monitoring
Track prices, stock and delivery fees at Cactus, MediaMarkt and the local shops on Letzshop exactly as shoppers in Luxembourg see them, with 17% VAT, not the French or Belgian price.
Local SEO & SERP tracking
Check Google.lu rankings, map packs and ads in French, German, Luxembourgish or English from Luxembourg City or Esch-sur-Alzette, instead of google.fr or google.de results.
Property & car listings
Collect sale and rental listings from atHome.lu and new and used car listings from Luxauto.lu to follow rents and asking prices commune by commune.
Ad verification & localisation QA
Confirm that campaigns aimed at Luxembourg appear on RTL.lu, L’essentiel and Paperjam, and that your own site shows Luxembourg prices, VAT and legal notices.
Jobs & labour-market data
Follow public postings and salary ranges on Jobs.lu as a local visitor sees them, for recruiting, HR benchmarking and cross-border workforce research.
Social media management
Run Luxembourg accounts from mobile IPs on POST or Orange, so logins look like a local phone rather than a server in another country.

Free Luxembourg proxy lists vs paid Luxembourgish proxies
Why free lists rarely work on Luxembourg sites
Search for a free Luxembourg proxy server or a Luxembourg proxy list and you will find only a handful of entries. Most are open servers in data centres, abused by thousands of users, offline within hours and already blacklisted by the sites you want to reach.
| Free Luxembourg proxy lists | ProxyEmpire Luxembourgish proxies | |
|---|---|---|
| IP source | Open or hijacked servers, mostly data centres | Real Luxembourg homes and POST and Orange SIM cards |
| Uptime | Minutes to hours before an IP disappears | Always-on pool, with rotating or sticky sessions |
| Blocks | Usually blacklisted on major Luxembourg sites | Looks like an ordinary local visitor |
| Targeting | Country at best | Canton, city, ZIP, ISP, ASN and OS fingerprint |
| Security | Unknown operator can log or alter your traffic | Authenticated access over HTTP(S) or SOCKS5 |
| Cost | Free | From $1.50/GB, with a $1.97 trial |

Luxembourg proxy FAQ
Straight answers
What is a Luxembourg proxy (LU proxy)?
A Luxembourg proxy server, also called an LU proxy or Luxembourgish proxy server, gives you a Luxembourg IP address so websites treat you as a local visitor. A Luxembourg residential proxy goes further: it routes your traffic through a real household’s connection on POST, Tango, Orange or another local ISP instead of a data centre, so it is far less likely to be blocked.
Can I target Luxembourg cities, cantons or ISPs?
Yes. You can target 3 of Luxembourg’s 12 cantons (Luxembourg, Esch-sur-Alzette and Remich), 3 cities (Luxembourg City, Esch-sur-Alzette and Remich) and 6 local ISPs: POST, Tango, Orange, Luxembourg Online, Eltrona and Visual Online. Residential and mobile proxies also support ZIP, ASN and OS fingerprint targeting. The other nine cantons are not separate targets at the moment.
Do you offer Luxembourg mobile proxies?
Yes. Rotating mobile proxies are available on the POST and Orange networks. Mobile IPs are shared by many real subscribers, which makes them among the hardest IPs for websites to block. Tango is not a separate mobile option yet.
Do you have Luxembourg datacenter or static IPs?
Not at the moment. Datacenter and static residential proxies are not offered with Luxembourg IPs. For a long-lived Luxembourg IP, use a sticky session on residential or mobile. If a fixed IP next door works for you, static residential IPs are sold in Belgium, France and Germany.
How much do Luxembourg proxies cost?
Rotating residential starts at $1.50/GB on larger plans and rotating mobile at $2.00/GB. Luxembourg targeting is included at no extra charge, and you can start with a $1.97 trial.
Can I keep the same Luxembourg proxy IP?
Yes. Rotating residential and mobile proxies both support sticky sessions, which hold the same Luxembourg proxy IP across requests instead of switching on every request.
Will German and French-language sites see me as being in Luxembourg?
Yes. A site sees the IP, not the language you browse in, so a Luxembourg IP gets the Luxembourg version whether the page is in French, German, Luxembourgish or English. German-language sites often write the country as Luxemburg, and a Proxy Luxemburg search means the same thing: an IP located in Luxembourg.
Which protocols and tools are supported?
HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5. The proxies work with any scraper, rank tracker, headless browser, anti-detect browser or HTTP library, and there is no limit on concurrent sessions.
Is there a free Luxembourg proxy list that works?
Free Luxembourg proxy lists are short, and many entries are not in Luxembourg at all or stop working within hours. The rest are open servers shared with strangers, often blocked, and run by operators who can log your traffic. For real work, a paid residential proxy is far more reliable.
Is using a proxy in Luxembourg legal?
Proxies themselves are legal in Luxembourg and across the EU. What matters is how you use them: respect each site’s terms of service, and follow the GDPR, supervised in Luxembourg by the CNPD, when you collect personal data.
