Facebook Β· Mobile Β· Residential
4G mobile and home IPs for ad accounts, Pages and Marketplace
Facebook proxies from ProxyEmpire give every profile, ad account and tool you run its own 4G mobile or residential IP, in the country, city or carrier you choose. Launch and check ads from the right market, browse Marketplace in any city, keep each client’s assets on a steady IP with sticky sessions, and scale to as many profiles as your team manages.
Priced per GB, not per IP: mobile from $2.00/GB, residential from $1.50/GB. No concurrent session limit, and unused bandwidth rolls over.
What is a Facebook proxy?
A private IP for Facebook, set up in your own phone, browser or tool
A Facebook proxy, or Facebook proxy server, is an IP address your phone, browser, anti-detect profile or marketing tool connects through when it opens Facebook. Facebook sees that IP, in the location and network you picked, instead of your own connection. ProxyEmpire’s network has 4G/5G mobile IPs on carrier networks in 174 countries and territories, and residential IPs from real home connections in 179, targetable down to city and ZIP code.
That matters for two reasons. Facebook checks where every login comes from, so a media buyer who signs in to ten clients’ assets from one office connection looks very different from ten separate businesses. And much of Facebook is local: ads are targeted by location, and Marketplace shows listings around the buyer. A proxy in the right city lets you see and work on Facebook as your audience does.
Unlike a free Facebook proxy site, where you paste a link into someone else’s web page, a proxy network works inside your own apps and browsers. You stay logged in, run Ads Manager and Marketplace normally, and your traffic isn’t shared with thousands of strangers on the same public page.
Why advertisers and agencies use proxies for Facebook
More markets, more clients, one setup
Ad accounts & business portfolios
Agencies and media buyers who run many clients’ ad accounts, Pages and business portfolios keep each client’s work on its own sticky IP and browser profile, so sessions never cross.
Facebook ads verification
See your ads, and competitors’ ads, the way users in each country and city see them, on desktop and on mobile carrier IPs. More on proxies for ad verification.
Facebook Marketplace
Browse Marketplace listings and prices in other cities from a local IP, to price resale stock, find inventory and see what local buyers compare your listings with.
Pages & community management
Social teams run brand, regional and product Pages and groups side by side, each managed from a consistent connection in the market it serves.
Landing page & funnel checks
Click through your ads from each target market to confirm the landing page, language, currency and offer that visitors there actually get.
Tools & automation
Plug proxies into your ad tools, schedulers and browser automation over HTTP(S) or SOCKS5. See our integrations for setup guides.
Best proxies for Facebook: which type to choose
Three IP types that look like ordinary Facebook users
Rotating mobile (4G)
IPs on real mobile carrier networks, shared by many ordinary phone users. Most Facebook use happens on phones, so a 4G IP is the most natural match for profiles and ad accounts.
- Country, region, city, ZIP, carrier and ASN targeting
- Rotate on demand or keep a sticky session
- OS fingerprint targeting at no extra charge
- Mobile IPs in 174 countries and territories
Rotating residential
Real home broadband IPs, so Facebook sees an ordinary household. The lower-cost choice for Marketplace research, ad checks and desktop Ads Manager work.
- Country, region, city, ZIP, ISP and ASN targeting
- New IP per request or sticky sessions
- OS fingerprint targeting at no extra charge
- Residential IPs in 179 countries and territories
Static residential (ISP)
A fixed residential IP that stays yours all month. Best for a main profile or business portfolio your team signs in to every day from the same place.
- The same IP for as long as you keep it
- Ideal for accounts used every day
- Country-level targeting, sold in 24 countries
- From $3.50 for a single IP
Why not datacenter? Datacenter proxies are fast and cheap, but Facebook recognises server ranges easily, so they are a weak fit for logged-in profiles and ad accounts. Not sure between static and rotating? Read ISP proxies vs residential proxies.
How to manage Facebook ad accounts and Pages with proxies
Six habits that keep accounts healthy
One profile, one IP. Give every profile you sign in with its own sticky session or static residential IP, and never log two profiles in through the same one.
Keep the location consistent. Pick a country and city that match the profile’s and the business’s history, and keep that pairing stable. Logins that jump between countries trigger security checks.
Give each profile its own browser profile. Cookies, fingerprints and IPs should line up. Run each one in its own profile in one of the popular anti-detect browsers that integrate with ProxyEmpire, and attach its proxy.
Use mobile IPs for app-first profiles. If a profile lives on the Facebook app, a 4G proxy on a local carrier matches how real users connect.
Warm up new ad accounts. Start with modest budgets, complete business verification and payment details, and scale spend step by step. Sudden jumps on new accounts draw reviews on any IP.
Skip free and datacenter proxies. Shared and server IPs carry other people’s history. Clean mobile and residential IPs protect ad accounts and Pages that took months to build.
ProxyEmpire is built for legitimate advertising, research and account management. Meta’s Terms, Community Standards and Advertising Standards still apply on any IP, and we don’t support fake accounts, spam, fraud or any illegal activity.
Facebook scraping proxies for public data
For research teams, agencies and data tools
Marketers and analysts also collect public Facebook data: posts and engagement on public Pages, reviews and recommendations on business Pages, and the ads shown in the Meta Ad Library in each country. ProxyEmpire doesn’t sell a ready-made Facebook scraper or scraping API: you run your own scraper, script or data tool, and we supply the residential and mobile IPs it connects through.
Public Page monitoring
Track posting cadence and engagement on brand and competitor Pages over time.
Reviews & reputation
Collect public recommendations and reviews on business Pages to monitor reputation across locations.
Ad research
See which ads competitors run in each country through the public Meta Ad Library, from a local IP.
Which proxies to use. Rotating residential proxies suit most Facebook scraping: each request can leave from a different real home IP, so the load is spread across the pool instead of one address. Use a sticky session when a job pages through results on one IP, and set the country or city to see Facebook the way local users do. You pay per GB, with no limit on concurrent sessions. More on social media scraping proxies.
Scrape responsibly: collect publicly available data only, keep request rates reasonable, and follow Meta’s Terms of Service and the laws that apply to you, such as the GDPR and the CCPA. ProxyEmpire doesn’t support scraping private data or any illegal activity.

Facebook proxy FAQ
Straight answers
What is the best proxy for Facebook?
For logged-in profiles and ad accounts, 4G mobile proxies with a sticky session per profile: most Facebook use is on phones, and carrier IPs are shared by many real users. Rotating residential proxies are the lower-cost option for Marketplace research and ad checks, and a static residential (ISP) proxy suits a main profile used from one place every day.
Can I use a proxy for Facebook ads?
Yes. Agencies and media buyers use proxies to keep each client’s ad accounts and business portfolio on their own IP, and to check how ads and landing pages look in each target market. Meta’s Advertising Standards apply as usual.
How does a Facebook Marketplace proxy work?
Marketplace shows listings around the location you browse from. With a residential or mobile IP in another city, and Marketplace’s location set to match, you can see the listings and prices buyers there see, which is useful for resale pricing and sourcing.
How many Facebook profiles can I run per proxy?
One. Give every profile its own sticky session or static IP, so Facebook never sees two of your profiles on the same address. With ProxyEmpire there is no concurrent session limit and you pay per GB, not per IP.
Will Facebook ban me for using a proxy?
Using a proxy isn’t a problem on its own: plenty of ordinary users reach Facebook through shared mobile carrier IPs, company networks and VPNs. Accounts get restricted for their behaviour, or because they share an IP with accounts that were. Clean mobile and residential IPs, one per profile, remove the shared-IP problem. No provider can honestly guarantee an account will never be actioned.
Is ProxyEmpire a Facebook proxy site or web proxy?
No. A Facebook proxy site or web proxy is a page where you open Facebook inside someone else’s website, which is what most “unblock Facebook proxy” results are. They are slow, shared and unsafe for logins. ProxyEmpire is a private proxy network: you add our IPs to your own phone, browser or tool, and use Facebook normally.
How do I set up a proxy for the Facebook app?
On a phone, open the Wi-Fi network’s settings, set the proxy to manual, and enter the host, port, username and password from the ProxyEmpire dashboard. On a computer, add the same details to your browser, anti-detect profile or ad tool over HTTP, HTTPS or SOCKS5, and choose a sticky session.
How much do Facebook proxies cost?
4G mobile starts at $4.50 for 1 GB and goes down to $2.00/GB, rotating residential starts at $3.50 for 1 GB and goes down to $1.50/GB, and static residential IPs cost from $2.00 per IP a month. A $1.97 trial lets you test before you buy.
Is there a free Facebook proxy?
Free proxy lists exist, but they are shared by thousands of people, often already flagged by Facebook, and run by operators who can log or alter your traffic. Never log in to a profile or ad account through one. The $1.97 trial is the low-cost way to test real mobile and residential IPs instead.
Can I use ProxyEmpire proxies to scrape
Yes, for publicly available data. Connect rotating residential proxies to your own Facebook scraper or data tool over HTTP(S) or SOCKS5, and use sticky sessions for jobs that page through results. We don’t offer a ready-made Facebook scraping API. Collect public data only, and follow Meta’s Terms of Service and the laws that apply to you, such as the GDPR and the CCPA.
