A Roblox proxy is a proxy server you use for the web side of Roblox: the website, the Creator Hub, public catalog pages and web APIs. It sends that traffic from an IP address in the country you choose, so developers can check how their experience pages look abroad, community managers can give each account its own steady IP, and research teams can read public pages at a sensible pace. It does not carry gameplay, which runs over UDP. We compared 12 paid providers on what matters for this work. For our own setup, see ProxyEmpire’s proxies for online gaming.

How we compared Roblox proxy providers
What Roblox work needs from a proxyRoblox proxy work is mostly web work over HTTPS. So we checked residential and mobile coverage, one steady IP per account, honest protocol documentation and prices for small plans.

What a proxy can and can’t do in Roblox
Web traffic yes, gameplay noRoblox has two kinds of traffic. The website, the Creator Hub, the catalog and its APIs run over HTTPS, and any HTTP or SOCKS5 proxy can carry them. Gameplay is different: Roblox’s own help centre says that once an experience launches, it uses UDP ports 49152 to 65535, and that clicking Play does not currently support proxies.
| Task | Does a proxy help? |
|---|---|
| Load roblox.com, the Creator Hub and APIs from another country | Yes. This is what Roblox proxies are for. |
| Keep several accounts on separate IPs | Yes, with a sticky session or a static IP per account. |
| Carry gameplay | No for TCP-only proxies such as ProxyEmpire. Oxylabs documents UDP, and SOAX and Byteful state UDP support, but Roblox says launching does not support proxies. |
| Lower your ping | No. A proxy adds a stop between you and the server, so it can only add delay. |
| See cheaper regional prices | No. Roblox sets regional prices from signals such as VPN use, billing and account history. |
ProxyEmpire supports HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5 on every proxy type, with no UDP, and only ports 80 and 443 are open by default. That covers Roblox’s websites and APIs, but not the game, so play on your normal connection. Creators don’t need a proxy to see regional prices either: the Creator Hub shows each pass or product’s price in every country.
Who uses Roblox proxies, and which type fits
Legitimate uses, matched to an IP type- Developers and studios check how their experience page, group page and companion website load for visitors in other countries. Rotating residential proxies with city targeting cover this.
- Community and group managers who run a main account, a test account and a group account can give each one its own steady IP. A static residential IP or a long sticky session fits best. Roblox’s own Account Switcher holds up to five accounts on the web, and Roblox may act on every account it links to one person.
- Market researchers read public catalog and Marketplace pages at a modest pace, use Roblox’s official Open Cloud APIs where they fit, and follow Roblox’s terms. See our market research proxy guide.
- QA and ad teams check pages, sign-in flows and ads from real home and 4G mobile IPs. See our ad verification proxies.
Roblox sets account location from signals including the IP address, so do short checks signed out or on a test account. If a main account needs a proxy at all, use one static residential IP in the country you live in.
How to set up a proxy for Roblox web work
Four steps in a browser profile- In the ProxyEmpire dashboard, choose residential or mobile, pick the country (and city if you need it) and turn on a sticky session.
- Copy the four details: server v2.proxyempire.io, port 5000, and the username and password it generates.
- Add them to a separate browser profile (a proxy extension or an anti-detect browser), using HTTP or SOCKS5, one profile per account.
- Open roblox.com or the Creator Hub, check the page loads, and keep the same profile and session for that account.
Leave the Roblox app and Roblox Studio on your normal connection. Roblox’s Studio troubleshooting guide even suggests checking that your computer is not sending traffic through a proxy when Studio won’t connect.
Roblox proxy sites: why we don’t list them
The honest answer to “Roblox proxy links”Many people searching for a Roblox proxy want a proxy website or a list of links that opens Roblox on a school or work network. We don’t list them, for three reasons. They are shared by strangers and disappear within days. They are unsafe: whoever runs the site can log everything you send, including your Roblox password, and many carry pop-up ads or malware. And using one to get round a school or workplace filter breaks that network’s rules. A web proxy page can’t run the Roblox game anyway, because gameplay uses UDP. If your class uses Roblox for lessons, Roblox publishes a network guide for school IT teams, so ask them. Roblox’s terms and your school’s rules apply either way. Never type your Roblox password into a proxy site.
Roblox proxy FAQ
Short answersWhat is the best proxy for Roblox?
ProxyEmpire, in our 2026 comparison, for Roblox’s website, Creator Hub and account work: residential IPs in 179 countries and territories, mobile IPs in 174, sticky sessions and a $1.97 trial.
Can I play Roblox through a proxy?
Not with a TCP-only proxy such as ProxyEmpire. Roblox gameplay uses UDP, and Roblox says launching an experience does not currently support proxies.
Will a proxy reduce lag or ping in Roblox?
No. A proxy adds a stop between you and Roblox’s servers, so it can only add delay. For lower ping, use a wired connection and close other downloads.
What is a Roblox proxy server?
A server that sends your Roblox web traffic from another IP address, usually in a country you choose. Developers and community managers use one for Roblox’s websites, dashboards and APIs.
Are Roblox proxy websites safe?
No. Public proxy sites can log your password and session, often carry pop-up ads or malware, and break school or work network rules. Don’t sign in to Roblox through one.
Is there a free Roblox proxy?
Public lists are free but shared and short-lived. For legitimate testing, Webshare’s free plan gives 10 datacenter proxies, and trials such as ProxyEmpire’s $1.97 give you residential and mobile IPs.
Can a proxy get me free Robux?
No. Sites that promise free Robux are scams that try to take your password. Real Robux come only through Roblox itself.
Can I use a different IP for each Roblox account?
Yes, for the website: give each account its own browser profile with its own sticky session or static IP. Roblox may still act on all accounts it links to one person.
Can a proxy change my Roblox regional prices?
No. Roblox sets regional prices from your economic location, using signals such as VPN use, billing history and account history. Creators can see each country’s price in the Creator Hub.
