New York IPs, borough by borough
New York proxies on real home broadband and mobile connections in the five boroughs and the metro around them. Target the city as a whole, a borough such as Brooklyn or Queens, or one of 85 named areas from Long Island to the New Jersey side, choose the network, and keep a sticky IP or get a new one on every request.
Pay per GB, not per IP. New York targeting costs nothing extra.
What you can target with a New York proxy
Read from our network API, borough by borough
New York City is five boroughs, and a household on Staten Island does not see the same search results, delivery fees or ads as one in Manhattan. So a New York proxy here is not one checkbox. Residential IPs can be pinned to the city target “New York”, to a borough (Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx or Staten Island), or to one of 79 named towns in the metro around the city: 40 in Nassau County on Long Island, 19 in Westchester and 20 on the New Jersey side of the Hudson.
Home broadband networks in New York
The city target “New York” lists the big cable and fibre networks, and the borough targets add a few more. Across the five targets, 14 home-network brands show up:
Coverage differs by borough: Brooklyn lists 14 network labels and Queens 12, while Staten Island lists five, all from Spectrum, Verizon and Optimum. University, school and backbone networks that appear in the API are left out of these counts.

Where New York coverage is thinner. Inside the city, the API lists boroughs rather than neighbourhoods, apart from Richmond Hill in Queens, so use a borough target and add ZIP targeting to go narrower. Manhattan is reached through the city target “New York”. On mobile, New York, Brooklyn, Queens and the Bronx are targetable, plus five New Jersey cities, but not Staten Island, Long Island or Westchester. Bellerose is in the API too, but that name also belongs to a village in Nassau County, so we leave it out of these counts.
New York or US-wide: which should you pick?
Pin the city only when the answer depends on it
Pin New York or a borough
Rotating residential and rotating mobile.
- Local results: “near me” searches, map packs, delivery radiuses
- Prices, fees and stock that change by ZIP code
- Checking an ad or offer aimed at one borough
Use US-wide or state targeting
All four products, including static and datacenter.
- National prices and rankings that are the same across the US
- The biggest possible IP pool for high-volume jobs
- Static residential and datacenter IPs
Static residential and datacenter proxies are sold at country level only, so they cannot be pinned to New York. A static residential IP comes from a random US city and stays yours for the month. If you need a New York address that stays the same, use a sticky session on rotating residential or mobile instead.

New York proxy FAQ
Straight answers
What is a New York proxy server?
A New York proxy server routes your requests through an IP address located in New York, so websites treat you as a visitor in the city. With ProxyEmpire that IP belongs to a real home broadband line or mobile SIM rather than a data centre, which makes it far less likely to be blocked.
How do I get a New York IP address?
Choose rotating residential or rotating mobile, then set the country to the United States, the state to New York and the city to New York in the dashboard. Every connection then exits from a New York IP address. You can start with the $1.97 trial to test it.
Can I target a specific New York borough?
Yes. Residential IPs can be targeted in all five boroughs: Manhattan through the city target New York, plus Brooklyn, Queens (including Richmond Hill), the Bronx and Staten Island. Mobile IPs cover New York, Brooklyn, Queens and the Bronx. For a smaller area, add ZIP targeting.
Can I get a static IP in New York?
Not pinned to New York. Static residential and datacenter proxies are targeted by country only, so a static US IP can come from any city. To keep one New York IP for a long session, use a sticky session on rotating residential or mobile.
Can I keep the same New York IP?
Yes. Sticky sessions keep the same New York IP for as long as it stays available, instead of switching on every request. When you want a fresh IP, start a new session.
Which mobile carriers can I use in New York?
The city target New York lists AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon, plus Boost Mobile. Add a carrier to your targeting, or leave it open and the pool picks one for you.
Is it legal to use a proxy in New York?
Using a proxy is legal in the United States. What matters is what you do with it: follow each website’s terms, and privacy and data-security laws such as New York’s SHIELD Act if you handle personal data.
