Congolese IPs on Vodacom, Orange, Airtel and Africell
Congolese proxies on real mobile connections from all four national networks, plus home and business lines in Kinshasa, Lubumbashi and Goma. Our DR Congo proxies give you a genuine Democratic Republic of the Congo IP address, with mobile IPs in 15 of the 26 provinces and rotating or sticky sessions.
Need a Kinshasa proxy? Pick the city in the dashboard. Priced per GB, not per IP: residential from $1.50/GB, mobile from $2.00/GB. Unused bandwidth rolls over.
Choose your DR Congo proxy type
Two ways to get a Congolese IP
Rotating residential
DR Congo residential proxies on home and business connections from five local networks, including Orange RDC, CanalBox and United, with city targeting in Kinshasa, Lubumbashi and Goma. Best for scraping, price monitoring and SERP tracking.
- Region, city, ZIP, ISP and ASN targeting
- New IP per request or sticky sessions
- OS fingerprint targeting (Windows, macOS, Linux, Android)
- Pay as you go from 1 GB
Rotating mobile
Congo mobile proxy IPs on Vodacom, Orange, Airtel and Africell, all four of the country’s mobile operators, in 15 provinces and 7 cities. Best for social media, app testing and strict anti-bot systems.
- Region, city, ZIP, carrier and ASN targeting
- OS fingerprint targeting
- Rotate on demand or keep a sticky session
Need the same IP for weeks at a time? Static residential proxies are not offered in the DRC, and neither are datacenter proxies. To hold one Congolese IP, use a sticky session on residential or mobile.
DR Congo at a glance
Why a local IP changes what you see
Congolese websites respond to where a request comes from. Search results on Google.cd, job offers, telecom bundles and the ads on Congolese news sites can differ between a visitor in Kinshasa and a server abroad, which often gets an international version.
At the end of December 2025 the telecoms regulator, the ARPTC, counted 73.9 million active mobile subscriptions, and half of them used mobile internet. Kinshasa alone accounted for 18.8 million subscriptions and 9.7 million mobile internet subscriptions, the largest figures of any province, followed by Haut-Katanga and Nord-Kivu.
A phone on Vodacom, Orange, Airtel or Africell, or a home line in Kinshasa, looks like an ordinary Congolese user; data-centre traffic is far more likely to be flagged as a bot.
| Fact | Figure | Why it matters for proxy work |
|---|---|---|
| Capital | Kinshasa, which also has the status of a province | Kinshasa can be targeted as a city and as a province, on residential and on mobile. |
| Administrative units | The city of Kinshasa and 25 provinces: 26 in all | Region targeting follows the provinces: 15 are selectable on mobile, 3 on residential. |
| Languages | French is the official language; Kikongo, Lingala, Swahili and Tshiluba are national languages | Most sites, ads and searches are in French, so check French pages and the “RDC” spelling as well as “DRC”. |
| Currency | Congolese franc (CDF), issued by the Banque Centrale du Congo | Collect local prices from the local version of a site. Our plans are billed in US dollars. |
| Mobile networks | Four operators: Vodacom, Orange, Airtel and Africell | All four are in our mobile pool, so a session can look like an ordinary phone on the network your audience uses. |
| Mobile use | 73.9 million active mobile subscriptions; 37.0 million mobile internet subscriptions (December 2025) | Half of all subscriptions use mobile internet, so mobile IPs are everyday traffic on Congolese sites and apps. |
| Country domain | .cd | Local versions of sites, such as Google.cd, serve different results and ads to Congolese IPs. |

What our DR Congo proxy coverage actually reaches
Read from the live API, not a brochure
Run a proxy Congo-wide, or pin a session to the province, city and network your target cares about. Everything below comes from the API our dashboard uses, nothing more.
15 of the DRC’s 26 provinces on mobile, 3 on residential
All 15 can be selected for mobile IPs; together they account for around four in five of the country’s mobile subscriptions. Residential IPs can be targeted in three of them: Kinshasa, Haut-Katanga and Nord-Kivu, which between them hold about half of the DRC’s mobile internet subscriptions. Our API lists Kongo Central under its former name, Bas-Congo. The other 11 provinces are not selectable; a country-level session draws on the whole Congolese pool.
Kinshasa proxy and 6 more targetable cities
Kinshasa, Lubumbashi and Goma can be targeted on both residential and mobile; Kolwezi, Bunia, Gemena and Gbadolite on mobile only. Mbuji-Mayi, Kisangani and other towns cannot be targeted by name; Kisangani’s province, Tshopo, is selectable on mobile.
DR Congo mobile proxy carriers
All four mobile operators in the ARPTC’s market report are in our pool: Vodacom Congo, Orange RDC, Airtel RDC and Africell RDC. No major network is missing; in Kinshasa all four can be selected.
Congolese home and business ISPs
Residential IPs come from five local networks: Orange RDC’s home internet and fibre, CanalBox (fibre to the home from Groupe Vivendi Africa), United (fibre in Kinshasa), Liquid Intelligent Technologies, and Global Broadband Solution (GBS), which mainly serves businesses. In Goma, residential IPs are on CanalBox.
Honest counts, real addresses. Seven cities will not suit a job that needs every Congolese town by name. They do include Kinshasa, Lubumbashi and Goma, with mobile IPs in 15 provinces on all four networks.
What teams use Congolese proxies for
Common workloads on our Congolese network
Local SEO & SERP tracking
Check Google.cd rankings, local results and ads in French as a searcher in Kinshasa or Lubumbashi sees them, instead of one generic “Congo” location.
Jobs, tenders & small ads
Follow job offers, calls for tender and classified ads on mediacongo.net exactly as job seekers and buyers in Kinshasa see them.
Telecom offers
Track data bundles and promotions on the Vodacom, Orange, Airtel and Africell websites as a local customer sees them.
Ad verification on news sites
Confirm that campaigns aimed at the DRC appear in the right placements on news portals such as Actualite.cd and 7sur7.cd, and that French landing pages display correctly.
Travel & online prices
Compare fares on Congo Airways and prices in Congolese online shops as local customers see them, from a Kinshasa, Lubumbashi or Goma IP.
Apps, social & browser profiles
Test apps and manage social accounts from Congolese mobile IPs, or give each anti-detect browser profile its own Congolese IP address.
DR Congo proxy pricing
How much does a Congo proxy cost? All prices in US dollars

Free Congo proxy lists vs paid Congolese proxies
Why a free proxy for Congo rarely works
Search for a free Congo proxy and you will find a handful of entries at best: open servers shared by thousands, offline within hours and often not in the country at all. A $1.97 trial of real Congolese IPs costs less than the time lost on dead ones.
| Free Congo proxy lists | ProxyEmpire Congolese proxies | |
|---|---|---|
| IP source | Open or hijacked servers, mostly data centres | Real Congolese homes and Vodacom, Orange, Airtel and Africell SIM cards |

DR Congo proxy FAQ
Straight answers
What is a Congolese proxy (CD proxy)?
A Congolese proxy, or Democratic Republic of the Congo proxy, is a proxy server that gives you an IP address in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, so websites treat you as a visitor from the DRC. A DR Congo residential proxy routes your traffic through a real home or business line, such as Orange RDC or CanalBox, instead of a data centre, so it is far less likely to be flagged.
Quel est le proxy de la RDC ? (Is there a national DRC proxy?)
No. There is no single national “proxy de la RDC”. If you need the proxy or APN settings for mobile data on your phone, your operator (Vodacom, Orange, Airtel or Africell) provides them; they are usually set automatically, and its customer service can give you the correct values. ProxyEmpire is different: a paid service that gives businesses Congolese IP addresses. En bref : pas de proxy national ; pour les paramΓ¨tres APN, adressez-vous Γ votre opΓ©rateur.
Is this page about the Republic of the Congo (Brazzaville)?
No. This page covers the Democratic Republic of the Congo, whose capital is Kinshasa. The Republic of the Congo, whose capital is Brazzaville, is a separate country, and none of the provinces, cities, ISPs or carriers listed here apply to it. For other countries, browse all locations.
Can I get a Kinshasa proxy, or target other cities and provinces?
Yes, within today’s coverage: Kinshasa, Lubumbashi and Goma on residential and mobile; Kolwezi, Bunia, Gemena and Gbadolite on mobile; 15 provinces on mobile and 3 on residential, at no extra charge. Mbuji-Mayi and Kisangani are not available by name.
Do you offer DR Congo mobile proxies?
Yes, on Vodacom, Orange, Airtel and Africell, all four of the country’s mobile operators. Mobile IPs are shared by many real subscribers, which makes them among the hardest IPs for websites to flag.
Do you offer static residential or datacenter proxies in the DRC?
Not at the moment. Static residential and datacenter IPs are not available in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. To keep one Congolese IP, use a sticky session.
How much does a DR Congo proxy cost?
Rotating residential costs $3.50 for 1 GB on Pay As You Go and as little as $1.50/GB on larger plans; rotating mobile costs $4.50 for 1 GB, down to $2.00/GB. Prices are in US dollars, per GB rather than per IP, and Congolese targeting is included. You can start with a $1.97 trial.
Can I keep the same Congolese IP?
Yes. Rotating residential and mobile proxies both support sticky sessions, which hold the same Congolese IP across requests instead of switching on every request.
Which protocols do Congo proxies support?
HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5, with no limit on concurrent sessions, so every Congolese proxy plugs into scrapers, anti-detect browsers and HTTP libraries.
Why not use a free Congo proxy?
Free entries are few, slow, often flagged or outside the country, and their operators may log or resell your traffic. For regular work, a paid residential proxy is far more reliable.
Is using a proxy in the DRC legal?
Proxies are a standard tool for price monitoring, SEO and ad verification. What matters is how you use them: respect websites’ terms of service, and follow the DRC’s Digital Code (Ordonnance-loi No. 23/010 of 13 March 2023) and its personal data rules whenever you collect personal data.
