Real Iraqi IPs on Earthlink, Zain and 35+ local networks
Iraqi proxies on real home connections and local mobile networks. Our Iraq proxies reach 18 governorates and 33 cities and towns, from Baghdad, Basra and Mosul to Erbil, Najaf and Kirkuk, so you can see Iraq-facing sites and apps the way local visitors do, with rotating or sticky sessions.
Pay per GB, not per IP. Unused bandwidth rolls over.
Choose your Iraq proxy type
Two ways to get an Iraq IP address
Rotating residential
Home connections in Baghdad, Basra, Mosul, Erbil and 29 more Iraqi cities and towns, on Earthlink, Zain, HalaSat and other local ISPs. Best for price research, local search checks and seeing Iraq-facing sites as a local visitor would.
- Governorate, city, ZIP, ISP and ASN targeting
- New IP per request or sticky sessions
- OS fingerprint targeting (Windows, macOS, Linux, Android)
Rotating mobile
Mobile IPs on Korek Telecom and six local wireless networks, including Newroz and Tishknet, across 17 governorates, with city targeting in 13 cities such as Baghdad, Basra, Mosul and Erbil. Best for app testing and mobile-first checks.
- Governorate, city, carrier and ASN targeting
- OS fingerprint targeting
- Rotate on demand or keep a sticky session
Need the same IP for weeks at a time? Static residential proxies are not offered in Iraq, so use sticky sessions to hold the same Iraqi IP on residential or mobile. Datacenter IPs are not available in Iraq either.
Iraq at a glance
Why a local IP changes what you see
Sites and apps built for people in Iraq often behave differently for visitors from abroad. Prices, currency, the language a page opens in, which products and delivery areas appear and how fast a page loads can all depend on where a request comes from.
Iraqi users reach the web through fibre and wireless home lines from ISPs such as Earthlink, HalaSat and Newroz, and through mobile networks such as Zain Iraq, Asiacell and Korek. A request from one of those networks in Baghdad or Basra is what an Iraq-facing service expects to see. A request from a foreign data centre is not, so the most reliable way to check what Iraqi users get is to use an Iraq IP.
| Fact | Figure | Why it matters for proxy work |
|---|---|---|
| Population | 46.1 million at the 2024 national census | A large and young consumer market, and our coverage includes the capitals of all 18 governorates listed below. |
| Capital | Baghdad | The largest city and the main location for both residential and mobile IPs on our network. |
| Currency | Iraqi dinar (IQD); official rate 1,300 dinars per US dollar | Check the prices, currency format and offers a shopper in Iraq is actually shown. |
| Languages & script | Arabic and Kurdish are the official languages, both usually written right to left | Right-to-left layouts, fonts, ads and local search results need checking in both languages, as locals see them. |
| Time zone | UTC+3 all year, with no clock changes | Schedule daily checks and time-limited offers on Baghdad time. |
| Country domain | .iq | Local search runs on Google.iq, and many Iraqi brands use .iq addresses that are worth testing from inside the country. |
| Mobile networks | Zain Iraq, Asiacell and Korek Telecom | Our mobile pool includes Korek plus six local wireless networks; Zain Iraq home IPs appear in the residential pool. |

What our Iraq proxy coverage actually reaches
Read from the live API, not a brochure
We would rather show real numbers than pad them. Here is exactly what you can target today, whether you run a proxy Iraq-wide or pin it to one city, pulled from the same API our dashboard uses.
18 governorates
The residential pool runs from Duhok, Nineveh and Erbil in the north, through Baghdad and the central governorates, to Basra, Dhi Qar and Maysan in the south and Anbar in the west. Mobile IPs cover 17 of the 18; Qadisiyah is residential only.
33 targetable cities and towns, including Baghdad
That is all 18 governorate capitals plus 15 other cities and towns, from Fallujah and Samarra to Zakho and Ranya. On mobile, city targeting is available in 13 of them: Baghdad, Basra, Mosul, Erbil, Sulaymaniyah, Kirkuk, Najaf, Karbala, Nasiriyah, Hillah, Baqubah, Duhok and Tikrit.
Mobile networks
Korek Telecom is the one national mobile operator in our Iraqi mobile pool. The other six are local networks that run wireless and 4G services, such as Newroz and Tishknet. To be plain about it: Zain Iraq and Asiacell, the other two national mobile operators, are not mobile options at the moment. Zain Iraq addresses do appear in the residential pool.
Fixed-line ISPs
Residential IPs run on more than 35 Iraqi networks. The big names include Earthlink, Zain Iraq (listed under its company name, Atheer Telecom), HalaSat (Hala Al Rafidain), Newroz Telecom, IQ Networks, O3 Telecom, IraqCell and Horizon Scope, with regional and city ISPs such as Giga Nineveh, Baghdad Link, RapidNet and Supercell. Asiacell is not a targeting option at the moment.
Honest counts, real addresses. Thirty-three cities and towns will not suit a job that needs thousands of different Iraqi locations. They do suit what most teams need: seeing what a local visitor sees in every governorate capital, testing an app on a local mobile network and verifying ads from a real Iraqi address.
What teams use Iraqi proxies for
Common workloads on our Iraqi network
Marketplace price research
Track prices, stock and offers on Iraqi online stores such as Miswag and Elryan, the way a shopper in Baghdad or Basra sees them, in dinars or dollars.
Local search checks
Check Google.iq rankings, local results and ads on Arabic- and Kurdish-language results pages from Baghdad, Erbil or Basra instead of guessing from abroad.
Delivery & ride-hailing apps
See which restaurants, delivery fees and menu prices Talabat and the Iraqi super-app Baly show in each city, and how the apps behave on a real local connection.
Classifieds & property data
Follow listings on Iraqi classifieds and property portals to compare rents, house prices and used-car prices governorate by governorate.
Ad verification & localisation
Confirm that campaigns aimed at Iraq render on the placements you paid for, and that right-to-left pages, fonts and dinar prices display correctly on desktop and mobile.
App & network testing
Test how Iraq-facing Android and iOS apps install, load and perform on real Iraqi home and mobile connections in different cities.

Free Iraq proxy lists vs paid Iraqi proxies
What you actually get from a free Iraq proxy
Looking for an Iraq proxy free of charge? Public lists of free Iraqi proxies are easy to find. ProxyEmpire is not one of those lists and has no free tier. We sell authenticated proxy access with Iraqi IP addresses to businesses and research teams, for use in browsers, scrapers and testing tools, and the cheapest way to try it is the $1.97 trial.
Free Iraq proxy lists cost nothing, but you rarely know where the server is, who runs it or what it does with your traffic. Here is how they compare with a paid proxy in Iraq.
| Free Iraq proxy lists | ProxyEmpire Iraqi proxies | |
|---|---|---|
| IP source | Open or hijacked servers, mostly data centres, not always in Iraq | Real Iraqi home connections and local mobile connections |
| Uptime | Minutes to hours before an IP disappears | Always-on pool, with rotating or sticky sessions |
| Detection | Usually blacklisted on major sites | Looks like an ordinary local visitor |
| Targeting | Country at best | Governorate, city, ISP, ASN and OS fingerprint |
| Security | Unknown operator can log or alter your traffic | Authenticated access over HTTP(S) or SOCKS5 |
| Cost | Free | From $1.50/GB, with a $1.97 trial |

Iraq proxy FAQ
Straight answers
What is an Iraqi proxy (بروكسي العراق)?
An Iraqi proxy, or IQ proxy, routes your traffic through an IP address in Iraq, so websites and apps treat you as a visitor in Iraq. An Iraq residential proxy uses a real home connection on a network such as Earthlink, Zain Iraq or HalaSat rather than a data centre, and a mobile proxy uses a connection on a local mobile or wireless network.
How do I get an Iraq IP address?
Sign up, choose Iraq as the country in the dashboard and copy the endpoint into your browser or tool. Every request then leaves from a real Iraqi home or mobile connection, so the IP Iraq-facing sites see is a local one. You can start with the $1.97 trial.
Can I target specific Iraqi governorates, cities or ISPs?
Yes. Residential proxies cover 18 governorates and 33 cities and towns, including Baghdad, Basra, Mosul, Erbil, Sulaymaniyah and Najaf, on more than 35 ISPs such as Earthlink, Zain Iraq and HalaSat. You can also target by ZIP code, ASN and OS fingerprint.
Do you offer Iraqi mobile proxies?
Yes, on Korek Telecom and six local wireless networks, including Newroz and Tishknet, in 17 governorates, with city targeting in 13 cities. Zain Iraq and Asiacell are not mobile options at the moment.
Do you have Iraqi datacenter or static IPs?
Not at the moment. Datacenter and static residential proxies are not offered with Iraqi IPs. For a long-lived Iraq IP, use a sticky session on residential or mobile.
How much do Iraqi proxies cost?
Rotating residential starts at $1.50/GB on larger plans and rotating mobile at $2.00/GB. Iraqi targeting is included at no extra charge, and you can start with a $1.97 trial.
Can I keep the same Iraqi IP?
Yes. Rotating residential and mobile proxies both support sticky sessions, which hold the same Iraqi IP across requests instead of switching on every request.
Which protocols and tools are supported?
HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5. The proxies work with any browser, scraper, headless browser, anti-detect browser or HTTP library, and there is no limit on concurrent sessions.
Is there a free Iraq proxy?
Free Iraq proxy lists exist, and for a one-off look at a page they sometimes work. For regular work, no: entries are slow, often flagged, may not be in Iraq at all and are run by operators who may log your traffic, with no way to choose the city or network. ProxyEmpire has no free plan; the $1.97 trial is the low-cost way to test real Iraqi IPs.
Is using a proxy legal?
Proxies are a standard networking tool. What matters is how you use them: respect each site’s terms of service and follow the rules that apply to you and to any personal data you collect.
