Malaysian IPs from real homes and SIM cards
Malaysian proxies on real home broadband and the Maxis, unifi Mobile and Yes mobile networks. Our Malaysia residential proxies reach all 13 states and 3 federal territories and 74 cities and towns, from Kuala Lumpur and Penang to Johor Bahru and Kuching. Start with a $1.97 trial, then pay as you go from 1 GB.
Malaysia proxies priced per GB, not per IP: residential from $1.50/GB. Unused bandwidth rolls over.
Choose your Malaysia proxy type
Three ways to get a Malaysian IP
Rotating residential
Our Malaysia residential proxy pool: home broadband IPs from the Klang Valley, Penang and Johor to Sabah and Sarawak. Best for marketplace scraping, price monitoring and SERP tracking.
- State, city, ZIP, ISP and ASN targeting
- New IP per request or sticky sessions
- OS fingerprint targeting (Windows, macOS, Linux, Android)
- Pay as you go from 1 GB
Rotating mobile
Malaysia mobile proxy IPs on the Maxis, unifi Mobile and Yes networks. Best for social media, app testing and the strictest anti-bot systems.
- State, city, ZIP, carrier and ASN targeting
- OS fingerprint targeting
- Rotate on demand or keep a sticky session
Rotating datacenter
Fast, low-cost Malaysian datacenter IPs. Best for high-volume jobs on sites with light bot protection.
- Malaysia country-level targeting
- New IP per request or sticky sessions
- Lowest cost per GB for bulk traffic
- Plans from 40 GB for $25
Need the same IP for weeks at a time? Static residential proxies are not offered in Malaysia. The nearest static location is Singapore, or use sticky sessions to hold the same Malaysian IP on any of the three proxy types above.
Malaysia at a glance
Why a local IP changes what you see
Search results on Google.com.my, prices and shipping fees on Shopee and Lazada, and the ads shown to Malaysian users all depend on where a request comes from. Many regional sites also switch between their Malaysian and Singaporean versions by IP, so a visitor routed through Singapore sees Singapore dollars instead of ringgit.
Malaysia is split between the peninsula and Sabah and Sarawak on Borneo, and delivery times and stock can differ between Kuala Lumpur and Kota Kinabalu. Sites also check the network: data-centre traffic is flagged as a bot straight away, while a unifi, TIME or Maxis home connection looks like an ordinary Malaysian customer.
| Fact | Figure | Why it matters for proxy work |
|---|---|---|
| Population | 34.4 million (2026 estimate) | A mid-sized, highly connected market, so most jobs need city or ISP precision rather than raw volume. |
| States | 13 states and 3 federal territories | Our region targeting uses all 16, so you can see a page as a visitor in Selangor, Penang or Sarawak sees it. |
| Time zone | One: Malaysia Standard Time (UTC+8) | Flash sales and ad schedules run on the same clock nationwide, the same as Singapore. |
| Currency | Malaysian ringgit (MYR, RM), issued by Bank Negara Malaysia | Local prices, fees and vouchers are shown in ringgit only on the Malaysian version of a site. |
| Language | Malay (Bahasa Melayu); English widely used | Google.com.my and many local sites serve Malay or English results, and the two can differ. |
| Internet use | 98.3% of individuals in 2025 | Nearly everyone is online, so websites judge visitors by their network rather than by rarity. |
| Mobile networks | CelcomDigi, Maxis, U Mobile, unifi Mobile (TM), Yes (YTL) | We reach Maxis, unifi Mobile and Yes. Details below. |

What our Malaysia coverage actually reaches
Read from the live API, not a brochure
Most providers list Malaysia as a single country checkbox. Here you can run a proxy Malaysia-wide or pin a session to the state, city and network your target cares about, as listed by the same API our dashboard uses.
All 13 states and 3 federal territories
The API returns every state and federal territory, on the peninsula and on Borneo.
74 cities, towns and suburbs
Every targetable location, grouped by region. Some, such as Bayan Lepas or Horizon Hills, are suburbs or townships rather than cities.
Klang Valley: Kuala Lumpur, Selangor and Putrajaya
Northern region: Penang, Kedah, Perlis and Perak
Southern region: Johor, Melaka and Negeri Sembilan
East Coast: Pahang, Terengganu and Kelantan
East Malaysia: Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan
Malaysia mobile proxy carriers
Our mobile pool covers three Malaysian networks today: Maxis, unifi Mobile from Telekom Malaysia, and Yes from YTL Communications. Two major operators are not in the mobile pool yet: CelcomDigi, formed when Celcom and Digi merged in 2022, and U Mobile. Since 2025 Malaysia has had two 5G networks: the shared wholesale network run by Digital Nasional Berhad (DNB) and a second one built by U Mobile after it was selected by MCMC.
Fixed-line ISPs
Home broadband IPs come from the providers most Malaysians use: TM’s unifi, TIME, Maxis and CelcomDigi home fibre, Yes and ALLO, plus smaller operators such as ViewQwest and Freshtel and Astro’s network. In total, more than ten local ISPs and networks can be targeted by name.
Why ISP targeting matters in Malaysia. Malaysian home broadband is concentrated in a handful of large providers, led by unifi. Picking the ISP your real customers use, rather than any Malaysian IP, is often what makes a session look ordinary to a local site.
What teams use Malaysian proxies for
Common workloads on our Malaysian network
Marketplace scraping & price monitoring
Track prices, vouchers, flash sales and shipping fees on Shopee Malaysia, Lazada Malaysia and Zalora exactly as Malaysian shoppers see them, in ringgit and state by state.
Google.com.my SERP tracking
Check Google.com.my rankings, map packs and ads from Kuala Lumpur, Penang or Johor Bahru, in Malay or English, instead of one generic “Malaysia” location.
Social media & app testing
Run Malaysian accounts, check Malay-language content and test apps from mobile IPs on Maxis, unifi Mobile or Yes, so sessions look like a local phone rather than a server.
Property & car listings
Collect listings from PropertyGuru Malaysia, iProperty, Mudah.my and Carlist.my to follow rents, house prices and used-car values from the Klang Valley to Kota Kinabalu.
Cross-border price checks
Compare what the same site shows in Johor Bahru and in Singapore, or in Kuching and in Brunei, to catch region-specific prices, stock and promotions.
Ad verification & localisation
Confirm that campaigns aimed at Malaysia run on the placements you paid for, in the right states and in the right language.

Free Malaysia proxy lists vs paid Malaysian proxies
Why free lists rarely work on Malaysian sites
Free Malaysia proxy lists are easy to find, but most entries are open servers already abused by thousands of users. They go offline within hours and are blacklisted by the Malaysian marketplaces and apps you want to reach. As the old saying goes, if something is free, you are the product: an unknown operator can watch everything you send.
| Free Malaysia proxy lists | ProxyEmpire Malaysian proxies | |
|---|---|---|
| IP source | Open or hijacked servers, mostly data centres | Real Malaysian homes and Maxis, unifi Mobile and Yes SIM cards |
| Uptime | Minutes to hours before an IP disappears | Always-on pool, with rotating or sticky sessions |
| Blocks | Usually blacklisted on major Malaysian sites | Looks like an ordinary local visitor |
| Targeting | Country at best | State, city, ZIP, ISP, ASN and OS fingerprint |
| Security | Unknown operator can log or alter your traffic | Authenticated access over HTTP(S) or SOCKS5 |
| Cost | Free | From $1.50/GB, with a $1.97 trial |

Malaysia proxy FAQ
Straight answers
What is a Malaysian proxy, and what makes it residential?
A Malaysian proxy gives you a Malaysia proxy IP address, so websites treat you as a visitor from Malaysia. A Malaysia residential proxy goes one step further: it routes your traffic through a real Malaysian household’s connection, on a network like unifi, TIME or Maxis, instead of a data centre. That makes it far less likely to be blocked.
Can I target specific Malaysian states, cities or ISPs?
Yes. You can target all 13 states and 3 federal territories, 74 cities, towns and suburbs, and more than ten local ISPs and networks. Residential and mobile proxies can also be targeted by ZIP code, ASN and OS fingerprint. Datacenter proxies are targeted at country level.
Do you offer Malaysia mobile proxies?
Yes. Rotating mobile proxies are available on Maxis, unifi Mobile and Yes. CelcomDigi and U Mobile are not in the mobile pool at the moment. Mobile IPs are shared by many real subscribers, which makes them among the hardest IPs for websites to block.
Do you have Malaysian datacenter proxies?
Yes. Rotating datacenter proxies with Malaysian IPs start at $25 for 40 GB and go down to $0.35/GB. They are targeted at country level and suit high-volume work on lightly protected sites; for Shopee or Lazada, use residential or mobile IPs.
Are these Malaysia private proxies?
They are private in the sense that matters: access is authenticated, so only your account can route traffic through them, and they never appear on public proxy lists. They are not dedicated IPs. If you need one fixed address, use a sticky session; static residential IPs are not offered in Malaysia, and the nearest static location is Singapore.
How much do Malaysia proxies cost?
Rotating residential starts at $1.50/GB on larger plans, rotating mobile at $2.00/GB and rotating datacenter at $0.35/GB. Pay As You Go lets you buy a single GB of residential traffic for $3.50, Malaysian targeting is included at no extra charge, and you can start with a $1.97 trial.
Can I keep the same Malaysian IP?
Yes. Rotating residential, mobile and datacenter proxies all support sticky sessions, which keep the same Malaysian IP across requests instead of switching on every request.
Which protocols and tools are supported?
HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5. Each endpoint works as a proxy server in Malaysia for any scraper, headless browser, anti-detect browser or HTTP library, and there is no limit on concurrent sessions.
Why not use a free Malaysia proxy?
Free proxies are slow, blocked on most major sites, and often run by operators who log or resell your traffic. For anything work-related, a paid residential proxy is safer and far more reliable.
Is using a proxy legal in Malaysia?
Proxies are a standard tool for price monitoring, SEO and ad verification in Malaysia. What matters is how you use them: respect websites’ terms of service, and follow the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 whenever you collect personal data.
