Residential ยท Mobile
Sri Lankan IPs from real homes and SIM cards
Sri Lankan proxies on real SLT and Dialog home broadband and the Dialog, SLT-Mobitel, Hutch and Airtel mobile networks. Our Sri Lanka proxies reach 7 of the 9 provinces and 22 cities and towns, from Colombo and Negombo to Kandy, Jaffna and Matara, with rotating or sticky sessions.
Set up a Sri Lanka proxy server in minutes. Residential costs $3.50 for 1 GB and drops to $1.50/GB on larger plans, priced in US dollars per GB, not per IP. Unused bandwidth rolls over.
Choose your Sri Lanka proxy type
Two ways to get a Sri Lankan IP
Rotating residential
A Sri Lanka residential proxy routes you through a real home connection on SLT or Dialog, from Colombo and Gampaha to Kandy, Kurunegala and Jaffna. Best for scraping, price monitoring and SERP tracking.
- Province, city, ZIP, ISP and ASN targeting
- New IP per request or sticky sessions
- OS fingerprint targeting (Windows, macOS, Linux, Android)
- Pay as you go from 1 GB
Rotating mobile
Mobile IPs on Dialog, SLT-Mobitel, Hutch and Airtel, covering all three Sri Lankan mobile operators. Best for social media, app testing and the strictest anti-bot systems.
- Province, city, ZIP, carrier and ASN targeting
- OS fingerprint targeting
- Rotate on demand or keep a sticky session
Need the same IP for weeks at a time? Static residential proxies are not offered in Sri Lanka; the nearest static location is Singapore. In Sri Lanka, sticky sessions hold the same Sri Lankan IP on residential or mobile.
Sri Lanka at a glance
Why a local IP changes what you see
Sri Lankan websites show Sri Lankan visitors a different internet. Search results on Google.lk, prices in rupees on Daraz.lk and Kapruka, listings on ikman and the ads served on local news sites all depend on where a request comes from. A foreign server often gets an international version instead.
Location inside Sri Lanka matters too. Delivery charges, stock and rents differ between Colombo, its suburbs and towns such as Kandy, Kurunegala or Jaffna, so picking the province or city is what makes the data comparable.
Sri Lankan sites also check the network. Protected sites flag data-centre traffic as a bot straight away, while an SLT or Dialog home line, or a phone on Dialog or Hutch, looks like an ordinary Sri Lankan customer, because it is one.
| Fact | Figure | Why it matters for proxy work |
|---|---|---|
| Population | 21.78 million (Census of Population and Housing 2024); 28.1% live in Western Province | Over a quarter of Sri Lankans live around Colombo, so target cities there and provinces elsewhere to keep samples realistic. |
| Administrative units | 9 provinces and 25 districts | Region targeting follows the provinces: 7 of the 9 are selectable today, Western, Central and Southern included. |
| Currency | Sri Lankan rupee (LKR, Rs.), issued by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka | Prices and delivery charges are shown in rupees to local visitors, so read them on the Sri Lankan version of a site. |
| Languages | Sinhala and Tamil are the official languages; English is the link language | Sites and ads run in Sinhala, Tamil, English or a mix, so check the version local users get. |
| Mobile networks | 29.53 million cellular subscriptions (July 2026) on three operators: Dialog (which also runs the Airtel brand), SLT-Mobitel and Hutch | All three operators, and the Airtel brand, are in our mobile pool, so mobile sessions match the networks Sri Lankans actually use. |
| Internet | 21.99 million mobile broadband subscriptions and 2.02 million fixed broadband subscriptions (July 2026) | Most Sri Lankans go online by phone, so mobile IPs are ordinary traffic on local sites and apps. |

What our Sri Lanka coverage actually reaches
Read from the live API, not a brochure
Run a proxy Sri Lanka-wide or pin a session to the province, city and network your target cares about. Everything below comes from the same API our dashboard uses.
7 of Sri Lanka’s 9 provinces
Region targeting in Sri Lanka follows the nine provinces, not the 25 districts. Eastern and Uva provinces are not available as regions yet; a country-level session draws on the whole Sri Lankan pool.
22 cities and towns
Every city and town the API returns for Sri Lanka. Seventeen are in Western Province (Colombo, its suburbs and towns in Gampaha and Kalutara districts); Kandy, Jaffna, Matara, Kurunegala and Anuradhapura cover five more provinces. Each can be targeted on its own:
Mobile carriers
All three Sri Lankan mobile operators are in our pool: Dialog, SLT-Mobitel and Hutch, so no major network is missing. Airtel has been part of Dialog since 2024 but still runs as its own brand, and it can be targeted separately.
Home broadband ISPs
Residential IPs in Sri Lanka come from two home-broadband networks: SLT (Sri Lanka Telecom), the national fixed-line operator, and Dialog. ISP targeting lets you pick either one, or leave it open and draw on both.
Why mobile matters here. Sri Lanka had 22.0 million mobile broadband subscriptions against 2.0 million fixed broadband lines in July 2026. Residential IPs show what an SLT or Dialog household sees; for the strictest sites and apps, mobile IPs match how most Sri Lankans get online.
What teams use Sri Lankan proxies for
Common workloads on our Sri Lankan network
E-commerce price monitoring
Track prices, stock and delivery charges on Daraz.lk, Kapruka, Keells and Cargills Online exactly as Sri Lankan shoppers see them, in rupees and town by town.
Local SEO & SERP tracking
Check Google.lk rankings, map packs and ads from Colombo, Kandy or Jaffna, in Sinhala, Tamil or English, not from one generic location.
Classifieds & property data
Collect listings from ikman, Hitad and LankaPropertyWeb to follow vehicles, rents and land prices across Sri Lankan cities.
Jobs & travel data
Follow hiring demand on topjobs and XpressJobs, and fares on SriLankan Airlines, route by route, as Sri Lankan job seekers and travellers see them.
Ad verification & localisation
Confirm that campaigns aimed at Sri Lanka run on the placements you paid for, on news sites such as Ada Derana, and that Sinhala and Tamil landing pages display correctly.
Social media & app testing
Run Sri Lankan accounts and test apps from mobile IPs on Dialog, SLT-Mobitel or Hutch, so sessions look like a local phone rather than a server.
Sri Lanka residential proxy pricing

Province, city, ZIP, ISP, ASN and OS fingerprint targeting cost nothing extra, and unused bandwidth rolls over.

Free Sri Lanka proxy lists vs paid Sri Lankan proxies
Why a free proxy for Sri Lanka rarely works
A free Sri Lanka proxy list is easy to find, but most entries are open servers already abused by thousands of users. They go offline within hours and are blacklisted by the Sri Lankan shops, classifieds and apps you want to reach.
| Free Sri Lanka proxy lists | ProxyEmpire Sri Lankan proxies | |
|---|---|---|
| IP source | Open or hijacked servers, mostly data centres | Real Sri Lankan homes and Dialog, SLT-Mobitel, Hutch and Airtel SIM cards |
| Uptime | Minutes to hours before an IP disappears | Always-on pool, with rotating or sticky sessions |
| Blocks | Usually blacklisted on major Sri Lankan sites | Looks like an ordinary local visitor |
| Targeting | Country at best | Province, city, ZIP, ISP, ASN and OS fingerprint |
| Security | Unknown operator can log or alter your traffic | Authenticated access over HTTP(S) or SOCKS5 |
| Cost | Free | From $1.50/GB, with a $1.97 trial |

Sri Lanka proxy FAQ
Straight answers
What is a Sri Lankan proxy (Sri Lanka proxy server)?
A Sri Lankan proxy, or Sri Lanka proxy server, gives you a Sri Lanka IP address, so websites treat you as a visitor from Sri Lanka. A Sri Lanka residential proxy goes one step further: it routes your traffic through a real Sri Lankan household’s connection on SLT or Dialog, instead of a data centre, so it is far less likely to be blocked.
How do I get an IP address in Sri Lanka?
Start the $1.97 trial, set the country to Sri Lanka in the dashboard and copy the endpoint into your tool. Your requests then leave from a Sri Lanka IP address on a home or mobile connection.
Can I target specific Sri Lankan provinces, cities or ISPs?
Yes. You can target 7 of the 9 provinces, 22 cities and towns from Colombo and Negombo to Kandy, Jaffna and Matara, and both home-broadband ISPs, SLT and Dialog. Residential and mobile proxies can also be targeted by ZIP code, ASN and OS fingerprint, at no extra charge.
Do you offer Sri Lankan mobile proxies?
Yes, on all three operators: Dialog, SLT-Mobitel and Hutch, plus the Airtel brand. Mobile IPs are shared by many real subscribers, which makes them among the hardest IPs for websites to block. Mobile starts at $4.50 for 1 GB and goes down to $2.00/GB.
Do you offer static residential or datacenter proxies in Sri Lanka?
Not at the moment. Static residential and datacenter IPs are not available in Sri Lanka, so this page covers rotating residential and mobile only. To keep one Sri Lankan IP, use a sticky session. If you need a static residential IP in the region, Singapore is the nearest location.
How much does a Sri Lanka proxy cost?
Prices are in US dollars and the same worldwide. Rotating residential costs $3.50 for 1 GB, down to $1.50/GB on the 1,000 GB plan; mobile costs $4.50 for 1 GB, down to $2.00/GB. Targeting is free, and a $1.97 trial lets you test first.
Can I keep the same Sri Lankan IP?
Yes. Rotating residential and mobile proxies both support sticky sessions, which keep the same Sri Lankan IP across requests.
Which protocols and tools are supported?
HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5. They work with any scraper, headless or anti-detect browser and HTTP library, with no limit on concurrent sessions.
Why not use a free Sri Lanka proxy?
Free proxies are slow, blocked on most major sites and often run by operators who log or resell your traffic. For work, a paid residential proxy is safer and far more reliable.
Is using a proxy in Sri Lanka legal?
Proxies are a standard tool for price monitoring, SEO and ad verification. What matters is how you use them: respect websites’ terms of service, and follow Sri Lanka’s Personal Data Protection Act, No. 9 of 2022, whenever you collect personal data.
