Residential ยท Mobile ยท Datacenter
Bulgarian IPs from real homes and SIM cards
Bulgarian proxies on real home connections and the A1, Yettel and Vivacom mobile networks. Target Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna, Burgas or any of 75 cities, with rotating or sticky sessions.
Pay per GB, not per IP. Unused bandwidth rolls over.

Three ways to get a Bulgarian IP
Rotating residential
Home broadband IPs across Bulgaria. Best for scraping, price monitoring and SERP tracking.
- Region, city, ZIP, ISP and ASN targeting
- New IP per request or sticky sessions
- OS fingerprint targeting (Windows, macOS, Linux, Android)
Rotating mobile
Mobile IPs on A1, Yettel and Vivacom. Best for social media and the strictest anti-bot systems.
- Region, city, ZIP, carrier and ASN targeting
- OS fingerprint targeting
- Rotate on demand or keep a sticky session
Rotating datacenter
Fast, low-cost Bulgarian datacenter IPs. Best for high-volume jobs on sites with light bot protection.
- Bulgaria country-level targeting
- New IP per request or sticky sessions
- Lowest cost per GB for bulk traffic
- Plans from 40 GB for $25
Need the same IP for weeks at a time? Static residential proxies are not offered in Bulgaria. The nearest static location is Romania, or use sticky sessions to hold the same Bulgarian IP on any of the three proxy types above.
Bulgaria at a glance
Why a local IP changes what you see
Bulgaria is a small market with very local rules. Search results on Google.bg, prices on eMAG, Ozone and OLX.bg, and ads served to Bulgarian users all depend on where the request comes from. A German or Romanian IP gives you a different page โ and since the euro replaced the lev on 1 January 2026, every Bulgarian price has been restated in a new currency.
Bulgarian sites also check what kind of network a visitor is on. On well-protected sites, traffic from a data centre gets flagged as a bot straight away. Traffic from an A1 or Vivacom home connection looks like an ordinary Bulgarian customer, because that is what it is.
| Fact | Figure | Why it matters for proxy work |
|---|---|---|
| Population | 6.42 million (end of 2025) | A compact pool, so precise city and ISP targeting matters more than raw volume. |
| Currency | Euro (since 1 January 2026) | Dual lev/euro price labels ended in August 2026, so prices now move in euros only โ a good moment to benchmark local pricing. |
| Language & script | Bulgarian, Cyrillic | Local SERPs and social feeds only show up properly for Bulgarian IPs and locale settings. |
| Mobile networks | A1, Yettel, Vivacom | All three national carriers are on our network, so mobile traffic looks like an ordinary local customer. |
| EU member | Since 2007 | GDPR applies, and EU geo-restricted content treats Bulgarian IPs as fully European. |

What our Bulgaria coverage actually reaches
Read from the live API, not a brochure
Most providers list Bulgaria as a single country checkbox. Here you can pin a session to the province, city and network your target cares about. This is the targeting available on the ProxyEmpire network today, pulled from the same API our dashboard uses.
All 28 provinces
75 targetable cities and towns
Coverage goes well beyond Sofia, Plovdiv and Varna. Black Sea resorts, ski towns and small district centres can each be targeted on their own:
Holiday towns like Sunny Beach, Nesebar and Bansko can each be targeted separately. That matters for travel and hotel price checks, where a visitor in a resort often sees different offers from someone in Sofia.
Mobile carriers
Fixed-line ISPs
All three national operators are covered โ A1, Vivacom and Yettel โ together with more than 50 regional cable and fibre networks, including Telehouse, Optisprint, Comnet Bulgaria, Bergon Internet, Coolbox, Netx, Fiber 1, Ultranet, Telekabel, Escom, Retel, Optinet, Pronet Telekom and Satnet, plus Starlink satellite connections.
Why the long tail matters. Anti-bot systems look at which network a request comes from. A pool of IPs from just two or three big providers is easy to spot. Having IPs on small networks too โ a cable company in Popovo, a local ISP in Haskovo, a national carrier โ is what makes your traffic look like ordinary Bulgarian households.
What teams use Bulgarian proxies for
Common workloads on our Bulgarian network
E-commerce price monitoring
Track prices, stock and delivery fees on eMAG, Ozone, OLX.bg and Pazaruvaj exactly as Bulgarian shoppers see them, including post-euro repricing.
Local SEO & SERP tracking
Check Google.bg rankings, map packs and ads from Sofia, Plovdiv or Varna instead of a generic EU location.
Ad verification
Confirm that campaigns targeted at Bulgaria actually render, in Bulgarian, on the placements you paid for, and catch fraudulent placements before they burn budget.
Social media management
Run Bulgarian accounts from mobile IPs on A1, Yettel or Vivacom, so logins look like a local phone rather than a server.
Travel & hospitality pricing
Compare hotel and flight prices shown to visitors in Sunny Beach, Bansko or Burgas against those shown in Sofia or abroad.
Market research
Collect listings, reviews and classifieds from Bulgarian-language sites at scale without CAPTCHAs or geo-blocks.

Free Bulgaria proxy lists vs paid Bulgarian proxies
Why free lists rarely work on Bulgarian sites
Free Bulgaria proxy lists are easy to find, but most entries are open servers that have been scanned and abused by thousands of other users. They go offline within hours and are already blacklisted by the Bulgarian sites you want to reach.
| Free Bulgaria proxy lists | ProxyEmpire Bulgarian proxies | |
|---|---|---|
| IP source | Open or hijacked servers, mostly data centres | Real Bulgarian homes and A1, Yettel and Vivacom SIM cards |
| Uptime | Minutes to hours before an IP disappears | Always-on pool, with rotating or sticky sessions |
| Blocks | Usually blacklisted on major Bulgarian sites | Looks like an ordinary local visitor |
| Targeting | Country at best | Region, city, ZIP, ISP, ASN and OS fingerprint |
| Security | Unknown operator can log or alter your traffic | Authenticated access over HTTP(S) or SOCKS5 |
| Cost | Free | From $1.50/GB, with a $1.97 trial |

Bulgaria proxy FAQ
Straight answers
What is a Bulgarian proxy (BG proxy)?
A Bulgarian proxy, or BG proxy, gives you a Bulgarian IP address so websites treat you as a local visitor. A Bulgaria residential proxy goes one step further: it routes your traffic through a real Bulgarian household’s internet connection, so websites see a genuine local visitor on a network like A1 or Vivacom instead of a data centre. That makes it far less likely to be blocked or shown non-local content.
Can I target specific Bulgarian cities or ISPs?
Yes. You can target any of Bulgaria’s 28 provinces, 75 cities and towns, and more than 55 local ISPs, including A1, Vivacom and Yettel as well as regional cable and fibre networks. Residential and mobile proxies can also be targeted by ZIP code, ASN and OS fingerprint. Datacenter proxies are targeted at country level.
Do you offer Bulgarian mobile proxies?
Yes. Rotating mobile proxies are available on all three Bulgarian carriers: A1, Yettel and Vivacom. Mobile IPs are shared by many real subscribers, which makes them among the hardest IPs for websites to block.
How much do Bulgaria proxies cost?
Rotating residential starts at $1.50/GB on larger plans, rotating mobile at $2.00/GB and rotating datacenter at $0.35/GB. Bulgarian targeting is included at no extra charge, and you can start with a $1.97 trial.
Do you have Bulgarian datacenter proxies?
Yes. Rotating datacenter proxies with Bulgarian IPs start at $25 for 40 GB and go down to $0.35/GB on larger plans. They are targeted at country level and suit high-volume work on sites with light bot protection. For well-protected sites, use residential or mobile IPs instead.
Can I keep the same Bulgarian IP?
Yes. Rotating residential, mobile and datacenter proxies all support sticky sessions, which keep the same Bulgarian IP across requests instead of switching to a new IP on every request. Static residential IPs are not offered in Bulgaria; if you need a permanently fixed IP in the region, our nearest static location is Romania.
Which protocols and tools are supported?
HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5. The proxies work with any scraper, headless browser, anti-detect browser or HTTP library, and there is no limit on concurrent sessions.
Why not use a free Bulgaria proxy?
Free proxies are slow, blocked on most major sites, and often run by operators who log or resell your traffic. If you are not paying for the product, your data usually is the product. For anything work-related, a paid residential proxy is safer and far more reliable.
Is using a proxy legal in Bulgaria?
Proxies themselves are legal in Bulgaria and across the EU. What matters is how you use them: respect websites’ terms of service and GDPR when collecting personal data.
