Choose your Cyprus proxy type
Three ways to get a Cypriot IP
Rotating residential
A Cyprus proxy server on real household broadband from Cyta, Cablenet, PrimeTel and smaller local networks. Best for scraping, price monitoring and SERP tracking.
- District, city, ZIP, ISP and ASN targeting
- New IP per request or sticky sessions
- OS fingerprint targeting (Windows, macOS, Linux, Android)
Rotating mobile
Cyprus mobile proxy IPs on Epic, PrimeTel and Cablenet SIM cards. Best for social media, app testing and the strictest anti-bot systems.
- District, city, ZIP, carrier and ASN targeting
- OS fingerprint targeting
- Rotate on demand or keep a sticky session
Rotating datacenter
Fast, low-cost Cypriot datacenter IPs. Best for high-volume jobs on sites with light bot protection.
- Cyprus country-level targeting
- New IP per request or sticky sessions
- Lowest cost per GB for bulk traffic
- Plans from 40 GB for $25
Need the same IP for weeks at a time? Static residential proxies are not offered in Cyprus. The nearest static location is Romania, or use sticky sessions to hold the same Cypriot IP on any of the three proxy types above.
Cyprus at a glance
Why a local IP changes what you see
Cyprus is a small, busy market that mixes Greek-language and English-language sites. Search results on Google.com.cy, prices on Skroutz.cy, Stephanis and Public, and the ads served to Cypriot users all depend on where the request comes from. A Greek or German IP gets a different page, often with different delivery options, stock and promotions.
Cypriot sites also check what kind of network a visitor is on. On well-protected sites, traffic from a data centre gets flagged as a bot straight away. Traffic from a Cyta or Cablenet home connection, or from an Epic phone, looks like an ordinary Cypriot customer, because that is what it is.
| Fact | Figure | Why it matters for proxy work |
|---|---|---|
| EU member | Since 1 May 2004 | GDPR applies, and EU geo-restricted content treats Cypriot IPs as fully European. |
| Currency | Euro (since 1 January 2008) | Prices are shown in euros, so you can compare Cypriot offers directly with Greece and the rest of the eurozone. |
| Languages online | Greek, with English widely used | Many local sites run in both languages; check which version and which prices a Cypriot IP is served. |
| Mobile networks | Four: Cyta, Epic, PrimeTel, Cablenet | Epic, PrimeTel and Cablenet are in our mobile pool. Cyta mobile is not at the moment, but Cyta home lines are on residential. |
| Internet domain | .cy, often as .com.cy | Local shops use .com.cy and .cy as well as .com. The IP decides what you are shown, not the domain. |

What our Cyprus proxy coverage actually reaches
Read from the live API, not a brochure
Most providers list Cyprus as a single country checkbox. Here you can pin a session to the district, city and network your target cares about. This is the targeting available on the ProxyEmpire network today, pulled from the same API our dashboard uses.
6 districts you can target
6 targetable cities and towns
City targeting covers the main towns. For anywhere else, choose the district and the session is served from homes across that area:
Coastal towns such as Limassol, Larnaca, Paphos and Paralimni can each be targeted on their own. That matters for travel and hotel price checks, where a visitor on the coast often sees different offers from someone in Nicosia or abroad. On mobile, the API lists Nicosia and Limassol as city targets, plus district-level targeting.
Mobile carriers
Cyprus has four mobile networks. Three of them are in our mobile pool today: Epic, PrimeTel and Cablenet. Cyta’s mobile network is not in the pool at the moment; for Cyta traffic, use its home broadband IPs on residential.
Fixed-line ISPs
The API lists 14 home ISPs in Cyprus. They include the big national networks, Cyta, Cablenet, PrimeTel and Epic, together with regional wireless and fibre providers such as Cosmos Wireless, NetFlash, GhoFi, AlphaNet and Sky Wisp, plus Starlink satellite connections. Each one can be targeted by name or by ASN.
Why the long tail matters. Anti-bot systems look at which network a request comes from. A pool of IPs from just one or two big providers is easy to spot. Having IPs on small networks too, such as a wireless provider in Paralimni or a fibre network in Larnaca alongside Cyta and Cablenet, is what makes your traffic look like ordinary Cypriot households.
What teams use Cypriot proxies for
Common workloads on our Cypriot network
E-commerce price monitoring
Track prices, stock and delivery fees on Skroutz.cy, Stephanis, Electroline and Public exactly as Cypriot shoppers see them, in euros and with local delivery options.
Local SEO & SERP tracking
Check Google.com.cy rankings, map packs and ads in Greek and English from Nicosia, Limassol or Larnaca instead of a generic EU location.
Ad verification
Confirm that campaigns targeted at Cyprus actually render on news sites such as Cyprus Mail, Philenews and Sigmalive, in the right language and on the placements you paid for.
Social media & app testing
Run Cypriot accounts and test apps such as Foody from mobile IPs on Epic, PrimeTel or Cablenet, so sessions look like a local phone rather than a server.
Travel & hospitality pricing
Compare hotel, car hire and flight prices for Larnaca and Paphos airports as they are shown to someone in Limassol or Paphos against the prices shown to a visitor abroad.
Classifieds & grocery research
Collect car, property and job listings from Bazaraki, or follow online grocery prices at Alphamega, to track Cypriot demand and pricing over time.

Free Cyprus proxy lists vs paid Cypriot proxies
Why free lists rarely work on Cypriot sites
Free Cyprus proxy lists are easy to find, but they are short, and most entries are open servers that have been scanned and abused by thousands of other users. They go offline within hours, are often not in Cyprus at all, and are already blacklisted by the sites you want to reach.
| Free Cyprus proxy lists | ProxyEmpire Cypriot proxies | |
|---|---|---|
| IP source | Open or hijacked servers, mostly data centres | Real Cypriot homes and Epic, PrimeTel and Cablenet SIM cards |
| Uptime | Minutes to hours before an IP disappears | Always-on pool, with rotating or sticky sessions |
| Blocks | Usually blacklisted on major Cypriot sites | Looks like an ordinary local visitor |
| Targeting | Country at best | District, city, ZIP, ISP, ASN and OS fingerprint |
| Security | Unknown operator can log or alter your traffic | Authenticated access over HTTP(S) or SOCKS5 |
| Cost | Free | From $1.50/GB, with a $1.97 trial |

Cyprus proxy FAQ
Straight answers
What is a Cypriot proxy (CY proxy)?
A Cypriot proxy, or Cyprus proxy server, gives you a Cypriot IP address so websites treat you as a local visitor. A Cyprus residential proxy goes one step further: it routes your traffic through a real household’s internet connection on a network like Cyta or Cablenet instead of a data centre. That makes it far less likely to be blocked or shown non-local content.
Can I target specific Cypriot cities or ISPs?
Yes. On residential you can target 6 districts, 6 cities and towns, including Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca and Paphos, and 14 home ISPs, from Cyta, Cablenet, PrimeTel and Epic to smaller wireless and fibre networks. Residential and mobile proxies can also be targeted by ZIP code, ASN and OS fingerprint. Datacenter proxies are targeted at country level.
Do you offer Cyprus mobile proxies?
Yes. Rotating mobile proxies are available on Epic, PrimeTel and Cablenet, with city targeting in Nicosia and Limassol. Cyta’s mobile network is not in the pool at the moment. Mobile IPs are shared by many real subscribers, which makes them among the hardest IPs for websites to block.
Do you have Cypriot datacenter proxies?
Yes. Rotating datacenter proxies with Cypriot IPs start at $25 for 40 GB and go down to $0.35/GB on larger plans. They are targeted at country level and suit high-volume work on sites with light bot protection. For well-protected sites, use residential or mobile IPs instead.
Where can I buy Cyprus proxies, and what do they cost?
You can buy Cyprus proxies directly from the ProxyEmpire dashboard. Rotating residential starts at $1.50/GB on larger plans, rotating mobile at $2.00/GB and rotating datacenter at $0.35/GB, billed in US dollars. Cypriot targeting is included at no extra charge, and you can start with a $1.97 trial.
Can I keep the same Cypriot IP?
Yes. Rotating residential, mobile and datacenter proxies all support sticky sessions, which keep the same Cypriot IP across requests instead of switching to a new IP on every request. Static residential IPs are not offered in Cyprus; if you need a permanently fixed IP in Europe, our nearest static location is Romania.
Which protocols and tools are supported?
HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5. The proxies work with any scraper, headless browser, anti-detect browser or HTTP library, and there is no limit on concurrent sessions.
Why not use a free Cyprus proxy?
Free proxies are slow, blocked on most major sites, and often run by operators who log or resell your traffic. If you are not paying for the product, your data usually is the product. For anything work-related, a paid residential proxy is safer and far more reliable.
Is using a proxy legal in Cyprus?
Proxies themselves are legal in Cyprus and across the EU. What matters is how you use them: respect websites’ terms of service and GDPR when collecting personal data.
