Choose your Equatorial Guinea proxy type
Two ways to get an Equatorial Guinea IP address
Rotating residential
An Equatorial Guinea proxy server on real fixed-line connections in Malabo and Luba on Bioko island and in Bata on the mainland. Best for SERP tracking, price monitoring and ad checks.
- Province, city, ZIP, ISP and ASN targeting
- New IP per request or sticky sessions
- OS fingerprint targeting (Windows, macOS, Linux, Android)
- Pay as you go from 1 GB
Rotating mobile
Equatorial Guinea mobile proxy IPs on GETESA and Muni, the two mobile networks in our pool, in Malabo. Best for social media, app testing and strict anti-bot systems.
- Province, city, ZIP, carrier and ASN targeting
- OS fingerprint targeting
- Rotate on demand or keep a sticky session
Need the same IP for weeks at a time? Static residential proxies are not offered in Equatorial Guinea; use a sticky session to hold the same Equatoguinean IP on residential or mobile. Datacenter IPs are not available in Equatorial Guinea at the moment.
Equatorial Guinea at a glance
Why a local IP changes what you see
Search results, telecom offers, prices and the ads on local news sites all depend on where a request comes from. A visitor in Malabo or Bata sees Spanish-language pages and prices in CFA francs; a request from a foreign server often gets a generic version, or is blocked outright.
Equatorial Guinea is also split between an island region and a mainland region. Bioko island holds Malabo and Luba; the mainland holds Bata and most of the population. Our residential pool reaches both sides, so you can compare what a user on Bioko sees with what a user in Bata sees. A request from a real home line or phone looks like an ordinary local user; data-centre traffic is far more likely to be flagged as a bot.
| Fact | Figure | Why it matters for proxy work |
|---|---|---|
| Population | 1,668,768 (2024 estimate); 1,225,377 at the 2015 census | A small market, so local IP pools are small too; below we list exactly what can be targeted. |
| Island and mainland | Mainland region 72.2% of the population, island region 27.8% (2015 census) | Residential IPs cover both regions: Malabo and Luba on Bioko, Bata on the mainland. |
| Administrative units | 8 provinces: AnnobΓ³n, Bioko Norte, Bioko Sur, Centro Sur, Djibloho, Kie-Ntem, Litoral and Wele-Nzas; 19 districts | Our API targets at province level; 3 of the 8 provinces are selectable today. |
| Main cities | Malabo and Bata carry the most weight in the national consumer price index, which also tracks EbebiyΓn, Mongomo and Evinayong | Malabo and Bata are both targetable by city; the three smaller towns are not. |
| Currency | Central African CFA franc (XAF, FCFA), issued by the BEAC | Local shops and telecom offers quote prices in FCFA, so collect them from the local version of a site. |
| Languages | Spanish and French are official languages; Spanish is the language of most local websites | Searches and ads run mostly in Spanish, and Spanish speakers often search for a “proxy Guinea Ecuatorial”. |
| Mobile networks | GETESA, Muni and GECOMSA | GETESA and Muni are in our mobile pool, so a mobile session looks like an ordinary local phone user; GECOMSA is not. |
| Country domain | .gq | Local operators run their sites on .gq and serve offers to local visitors. |

What our Equatorial Guinea proxy coverage actually reaches
Read from the live API, not a brochure
Equatorial Guinea is a small market for proxy networks, so here is exactly what our Equatorial Guinea proxies can target today, taken from the same API our dashboard uses.
3 of Equatorial Guinea’s 8 provinces
Residential IPs can be pinned to all three: Bioko Norte, around Malabo; Bioko Sur, around Luba; and Litoral, the mainland coastal province around Bata. Mobile IPs can be pinned to Bioko Norte only. AnnobΓ³n, Centro Sur, Djibloho, Kie-Ntem and Wele-Nzas are not selectable today. A country-level session draws on the whole Equatoguinean pool.
3 targetable cities
Malabo can be targeted on both residential and mobile; Bata and Luba on residential only. These are the only three cities the API returns, one in each covered province. EbebiyΓn, Mongomo, Evinayong and other towns cannot be targeted by name, so if you need them, test with the $1.97 trial before buying a plan.
Equatorial Guinea mobile proxy carriers
Two mobile networks are in our pool: GETESA, the country’s historic telecom operator, and Muni, which runs its own mobile and fixed internet network. Some IP databases still label GETESA with its former Orange branding; it is the same network. GECOMSA, the third operator, is not in our pool. Both carriers can be selected in Malabo and Bioko Norte; mobile IPs on the mainland are not available by city or province.
Equatoguinean fixed-line ISPs
Residential IPs come from the address space of GITGE, the company that runs Equatorial Guinea’s national fibre and cable infrastructure, including its fibre-to-the-home network. The same provider serves all three residential cities. Other fixed-line internet brands are not in the residential pool.
Honest counts, real addresses. Three cities, one fixed-line network and mobile IPs in Malabo will not suit a job that needs every Equatoguinean town by name. They do cover both Bioko island and the mainland, Malabo and Bata, the two cities with the most economic weight, and two mobile networks.

Free Equatorial Guinea proxy lists vs paid Equatoguinean proxies
Why free lists rarely work on Equatoguinean sites
Search for a free proxy Equatorial Guinea list and you will find a handful of entries at best. Most are open servers shared by thousands of people, offline within hours, often not in the country at all and blocked by the sites you want to reach. A $1.97 trial of real Equatorial Guinea proxies costs less than the time lost on dead IPs.
| Free Equatorial Guinea proxy lists | ProxyEmpire Equatoguinean proxies | |

| IP source | Open or hijacked servers, mostly data centres | Real home lines in Malabo, Bata and Luba and GETESA and Muni SIM cards |
| Uptime | Minutes to hours before an IP disappears | Always-on pool, with rotating or sticky sessions |
| Blocks | Usually blacklisted on major sites | Looks like an ordinary local visitor |

Equatorial Guinea proxy FAQ
Straight answers
What is an Equatoguinean proxy (GQ proxy)?
An Equatoguinean proxy, or Equatorial Guinea proxy server, is a server that gives you an Equatorial Guinea IP address, so websites treat you as a visitor from Equatorial Guinea. An Equatorial Guinea residential proxy goes one step further: it routes your traffic through a real fixed-line connection in Malabo, Bata or Luba instead of a data centre, which makes it far less likely to be blocked.
Is this Guinea or Equatorial Guinea?
This page covers Equatorial Guinea (Guinea Ecuatorial in Spanish, country code GQ), the Central African country of Malabo on Bioko island and Bata on the mainland. The Republic of Guinea in West Africa (code GN) is a different country; for Guinean IPs, see our Guinea proxies page.
Can I target specific cities or provinces in Equatorial Guinea?
Yes, within today’s coverage: Malabo, Bata and Luba and the Bioko Norte, Bioko Sur and Litoral provinces for residential IPs, and Malabo and Bioko Norte for mobile. ISP, carrier, ZIP, ASN and OS fingerprint targeting cost nothing extra. Towns such as EbebiyΓn or Mongomo are not available by name.
Do you offer Equatorial Guinea mobile proxies?
Yes, on GETESA and Muni in Malabo. GECOMSA is not in our pool at the moment. Mobile IPs are shared by many real subscribers, which makes them among the hardest IPs for websites to block.
Do you have Equatoguinean datacenter or static IPs?
Not at the moment. Datacenter and static residential proxies are not offered with Equatoguinean IPs. For a long-lived Equatorial Guinea IP address, use a sticky session on residential or mobile.
How much do Equatorial Guinea proxies cost?
Rotating residential costs $3.50 for 1 GB on Pay As You Go and as little as $1.50/GB on larger plans; rotating mobile costs $4.50 for 1 GB, down to $2.00/GB. Plans are billed in US dollars, per GB rather than per IP, and Equatoguinean targeting is included. You can start with a $1.97 trial.
Can I keep the same Equatorial Guinea IP address?
Yes. Rotating residential and mobile proxies both support sticky sessions, which hold the same Equatoguinean IP across requests instead of switching on every request.
Which protocols do Equatorial Guinea proxies support?
Every Equatoguinean proxy works over HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5, so it plugs into scrapers, browsers and anti-detect tools without extra software.
Is there a free Equatorial Guinea proxy that works?
For a one-off look at a page, a free Equatorial Guinea proxy sometimes works. For regular work, no: free lists for Equatorial Guinea are short, the entries are slow, often flagged and may not be in the country at all, and their operators may log or resell your traffic. There is no way to choose the city or network.
Is using a proxy in Equatorial Guinea legal?
Proxies are a standard tool for price monitoring, SEO and ad verification. What matters is how you use them: respect websites’ terms of service and the data protection rules that apply whenever you collect personal data.
