Our Gabon proxies give you a genuine Gabon IP address in 8 of the country’s 9 provinces, with rotating or sticky sessions. Start with a $1.97 trial, then pay as you go from 1 GB.

Two ways to get a Gabon IP address
Rotating residential
A Gabon proxy server on real home fibre connections in Libreville, Port-Gentil, Oyem and Koulamoutou, across 7 provinces. Best for SERP tracking, price monitoring and ad checks.
- Province, city, ZIP, ISP and ASN targeting
- New IP per request or sticky sessions
- OS fingerprint targeting (Windows, macOS, Linux, Android)
- Pay as you go from 1 GB
Rotating mobile
Gabon mobile proxy IPs on Airtel and Moov Africa, the country’s two mobile networks, in Libreville and three provinces. Best for social media, app testing and strict anti-bot systems.
- Province, city, ZIP, carrier and ASN targeting
- OS fingerprint targeting
- Rotate on demand or keep a sticky session
Need the same IP for weeks at a time? Static residential proxies are not offered in Gabon; use a sticky session to hold the same Gabonese IP on residential or mobile. Datacenter IPs are not available in Gabon at the moment.
Gabon at a glance
Why a local IP changes what you see
Search results, telecom offers, prices and the ads on Gabonese news sites all depend on where a request comes from. A visitor in Libreville or Port-Gentil sees French-language pages and prices in CFA francs; a request from a foreign server often gets a generic version, or is blocked outright.
Gabon is also a very urban country: at the 2013 census 87% of residents lived in towns, and about half lived in the Estuaire province around Libreville. Most people go online from a phone, so a request from a real Airtel or Moov Africa line looks like an ordinary local user, while data-centre traffic is far more likely to be flagged as a bot.
| Fact | Figure | Why it matters for proxy work |
|---|---|---|
| Population | 1,811,079 at the 2013 census; 87% in urban areas | A compact, town-based audience, so a few cities cover most local users. |
| Administrative units | 9 provinces: Estuaire, Haut-Ogooué, Moyen-Ogooué, Ngounié, Nyanga, Ogooué-Ivindo, Ogooué-Lolo, Ogooué-Maritime and Woleu-Ntem | Our API targets at province level; 8 of the 9 provinces are selectable today. |
| Capital and main towns | Libreville is the capital; Port-Gentil and Franceville were the next-largest urban areas in 2013 | Libreville and Port-Gentil are targetable by city; Franceville through its province, Haut-Ogooué. |
| Currency | Central African CFA franc (XAF, FCFA), issued by the BEAC | Local shops and telecom offers quote prices in FCFA, so collect them from the local version of a site. |
| Language | French is the official working language | Searches, ads and local sites run in French, and many people search for a “proxy Gabon” in French word order. |
| Mobile networks | Airtel Gabon and Moov Africa Gabon Télécom; 3,223,137 active SIMs at the end of March 2026, split almost evenly | Both networks are in our mobile pool, so a mobile session can look like either kind of Gabonese phone user. |
| Internet access | 2,405,614 internet subscriptions, 94% of them mobile; fixed fibre from Moov Africa Gabon Télécom and GVA | Mobile IPs match how most Gabonese users browse; both fibre providers feed our residential pool. |
| Country domain | .ga | Local operators run their sites on .ga and serve offers to local visitors. |

What our Gabon proxy coverage actually reaches
Read from the live API, not a brochure
Here is exactly what our Gabon proxies can target today, taken from the same API our dashboard uses. Residential coverage is wide; mobile coverage is centred on Libreville.
8 of Gabon’s 9 provinces
Residential IPs can be pinned to seven provinces: Estuaire, Haut-Ogooué, Ngounié, Nyanga, Ogooué-Lolo, Ogooué-Maritime and Woleu-Ntem. Mobile IPs can be pinned to Estuaire, Moyen-Ogooué and Ngounié. Ogooué-Ivindo is the only province that cannot be selected today. A country-level session draws on the whole Gabonese pool.
4 targetable cities
Libreville can be targeted on both residential and mobile; Port-Gentil, Oyem and Koulamoutou on residential only. These are the only four cities the API returns, each the main town of its province. Franceville, Moanda, Lambaréné, Mouila and other towns cannot be targeted by name, although their provinces can, so test with the $1.97 trial if you need them.
Gabon mobile proxy carriers
Both of Gabon’s mobile networks are in our pool: Airtel Gabon and Moov Africa Gabon Télécom, which some IP databases still list under its older name, Gabon Telecom. No Gabonese mobile network is missing. In Libreville and the Estuaire province both carriers can be selected; in Ngounié, Airtel.
Gabonese fixed-line ISPs
Residential IPs come from the two fibre-to-the-home providers in Gabon’s fixed internet market: Moov Africa Gabon Télécom, whose fixed network serves all four residential cities, and GVA, which sells fibre under the CanalBox brand and appears in our pool in Libreville. Home connections are a small share of Gabon’s internet market, which is why a mobile IP is often the most natural local fingerprint.
Honest counts, real addresses. Four cities and mobile targeting centred on Libreville will not suit a job that needs every Gabonese town by name. They do cover 8 of the 9 provinces, the two largest cities, Libreville and Port-Gentil, both mobile networks and both fibre providers.
What teams use Gabonese proxies for
Common workloads on our Gabonese network
Local SEO & SERP tracking
Check Google rankings, local results and ads in French as a searcher in Libreville or Port-Gentil sees them, instead of one generic “Gabon” location.
Telecom offers
Track data bundles, fibre plans and promotions from Airtel, Moov Africa and CanalBox in FCFA, exactly as a customer in Gabon sees them.
Ad verification on news sites
Confirm that campaigns aimed at Gabon appear in the right placements, for example on news portals such as Gabonreview and L’Union, and that French landing pages display correctly.
Travel & e-commerce prices
Compare the flight fares, hotel rates, shipping costs and currencies that international travel and shopping sites show to a visitor from Libreville or Port-Gentil.
Apps & mobile testing
Test sign-up, top-up and in-app flows built for local phone users from real Airtel and Moov Africa mobile IPs in Libreville.
Browser & anti-detect profiles
Give each browser or anti-detect profile its own Gabon IP address, from a home line in one of four cities or a phone in Libreville, so manual checks look local.

Free Gabon proxy lists vs paid Gabonese proxies
Why free lists rarely work on Gabonese sites
Search for a free proxy Gabon list and you will find a handful of entries at best. Most are open servers shared by thousands of people, offline within hours, often not in the country at all and blocked by the sites you want to reach. A $1.97 trial of real Gabon proxies costs less than the time lost on dead IPs.
| Free Gabon proxy lists | ProxyEmpire Gabonese proxies | |
|---|---|---|
| IP source | Open or hijacked servers, mostly data centres | Real home fibre lines in four cities and Airtel and Moov Africa SIM cards |
| Uptime | Minutes to hours before an IP disappears | Always-on pool, with rotating or sticky sessions |
| Blocks | Usually blacklisted on major sites | Looks like an ordinary local visitor |
| Targeting | Country at best | Province, city, ZIP, ISP, ASN and OS fingerprint |
| Security | Unknown operator can log or alter your traffic | Authenticated access over HTTP(S) or SOCKS5 |
| Cost | Free | From $1.50/GB, with a $1.97 trial |

Gabon proxy FAQ
Straight answers
What is a Gabonese proxy (GA proxy)?
A Gabonese proxy, or Gabon proxy server, is a server that gives you a Gabon IP address, so websites treat you as a visitor from Gabon. A Gabon residential proxy goes one step further: it routes your traffic through a real home fibre connection in Libreville, Port-Gentil, Oyem or Koulamoutou instead of a data centre, which makes it far less likely to be blocked.
Quel est le proxy du Gabon ? (Is there a national Gabon proxy?)
No. There is no single national “proxy du Gabon”. If you need the proxy or APN settings for mobile data on your phone, your operator (Airtel or Moov Africa) provides them; they are usually set automatically, and its customer service can give you the correct values. ProxyEmpire is different: a paid service that gives businesses Gabonese IP addresses. En bref : pas de proxy national ; pour les paramètres APN, adressez-vous à votre opérateur.
Can I target specific cities or provinces in Gabon?
Yes, within today’s coverage: Libreville, Port-Gentil, Oyem and Koulamoutou and seven provinces for residential IPs, and Libreville plus Estuaire, Moyen-Ogooué and Ngounié for mobile. ISP, carrier, ZIP, ASN and OS fingerprint targeting cost nothing extra. Towns such as Franceville or Lambaréné are not available by name.
Do you offer Gabon mobile proxies?
Yes, on Airtel and Moov Africa, both of the country’s mobile networks. Mobile IPs are shared by many real subscribers, which makes them among the hardest IPs for websites to block.
Do you have Gabonese datacenter or static IPs?
Not at the moment. Datacenter and static residential proxies are not offered with Gabonese IPs. For a long-lived Gabon IP address, use a sticky session on residential or mobile.
How much do Gabon proxies cost?
Rotating residential costs $3.50 for 1 GB on Pay As You Go and as little as $1.50/GB on larger plans; rotating mobile costs $4.50 for 1 GB, down to $2.00/GB. Plans are billed in US dollars, per GB rather than per IP, and Gabonese targeting is included. You can start with a $1.97 trial.
Can I keep the same Gabon IP address?
Yes. Rotating residential and mobile proxies both support sticky sessions, which hold the same Gabonese IP across requests instead of switching on every request.
Which protocols do Gabon proxies support?
Every Gabonese proxy works over HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5, so it plugs into scrapers, browsers and anti-detect tools without extra software.
Is there a free Gabon proxy that works?
For a one-off look at a page, a free Gabon proxy sometimes works. For regular work, no: free lists for Gabon are short, the entries are slow, often flagged and may not be in the country at all, and their operators may log or resell your traffic. There is no way to choose the city or network.
Is using a proxy in Gabon legal?
Proxies are a standard tool for price monitoring, SEO and ad verification. What matters is how you use them: respect websites’ terms of service and the data protection rules that apply whenever you collect personal data.
