Our HK proxy pool reaches 17 of the 18 districts, from Central and Western to Yuen Long, and neighbourhoods such as Mong Kok and Tsim Sha Tsui, with rotating or sticky sessions, or a fixed static IP.
Pay per GB, not per IP: residential from $1.50/GB. Unused bandwidth rolls over.

- District, neighbourhood, ZIP, ISP and ASN targeting
- New IP per request or sticky sessions
- OS fingerprint targeting (Windows, macOS, Linux, Android)
Rotating mobile
Hong Kong mobile proxy IPs on all four major mobile networks. Best for social media, app testing and the strictest anti-bot systems.
- District, neighbourhood, ZIP, carrier and ASN targeting
- OS fingerprint targeting
- Rotate on demand or keep a sticky session
Rotating datacenter
Fast, low-cost Hong Kong datacenter IPs. Best for high-volume jobs on lightly protected sites.

- Hong Kong-wide targeting
- From $3.50 for a single IP
Hong Kong at a glance
Why a local IP changes what you see
Prices on HKTVmall and price.com.hk (้ฆๆธฏๆ ผๅน็ถฒ), rankings on Google.com.hk and Yahoo Hong Kong, flat listings on 28Hse (้ฆๆธฏๅฑ็ถฒ) and the ads served to Hong Kong users all depend on where a request comes from. An IP from Singapore or the US often gets a different page, prices in another currency or no page at all.
Hong Kong sites also check the network. On well-protected sites, data centre traffic is flagged as a bot straight away, while a Netvigator fibre line or a SmarTone SIM looks like an ordinary local customer, because it is one.
| Fact | Figure | Why it matters for proxy work |
|---|---|---|
| Population | 7.52 million (mid-2026, provisional) | A dense, compact city, so district targeting is what separates Kowloon results from the New Territories. |
| Districts | 18, in three areas: Hong Kong Island (4), Kowloon (5) and the New Territories (9) | 17 of the 18 are targetable, and local results and delivery options differ between them. |
| Currency | Hong Kong dollar (HKD, HK$), held between HK$7.75 and HK$7.85 to the US dollar | Local shops price in HK$, and only a Hong Kong IP shows local prices, fees and offers reliably. |
| Language & script | Cantonese and English; Chinese written in Traditional characters | Sites serve zh-HK and English versions, and a Hong Kong IP gets the local edition. |
| Internet use | 96.4% of people aged 10 and over online; smartphone penetration 96.8% (2025) | Almost everyone is online, so residential and mobile IPs blend in with normal traffic. |
| Online shopping | Online retail sales of HK$35.7 billion in 2025, up 12.8% on 2024 | A fast-growing online market with frequent promotions, which is what price monitoring is for. |
| Home broadband | 100.8% household broadband penetration; 90.1% of households on fibre to the home or building (May 2026) | Nearly every home is on fibre, so residential IPs are fast and stable. |
| Mobile networks | China Mobile Hong Kong, HKT (csl, 1O1O), 3 Hong Kong, SmarTone; 34.08 million mobile subscriptions (May 2026) | All four major networks are on ours, so mobile traffic looks like an ordinary local subscriber. |

What our Hong Kong proxy coverage actually reaches
Read from the live API, not a brochure
Most providers list Hong Kong as a single checkbox. Here you can run a proxy Hong Kong-wide or pin a session to the district, neighbourhood and network your target cares about.
17 of 18 districts
The API returns three of the four districts on Hong Kong Island, all five in Kowloon and all nine in the New Territories. Only Southern District (Aberdeen and the south side of the island) is not listed.
14 targetable neighbourhoods
Below district level you can pin a session to a named neighbourhood or new town. Here is the full list:
Mobile carriers
All four major mobile networks are in our pool, so none is missing: China Mobile Hong Kong, HKT’s csl (which also carries the 1O1O and Club SIM brands), Hutchison’s 3 Hong Kong and SmarTone, plus China Unicom Global. Where our API lists a network under two names, we count it once.
Fixed-line ISPs
Six Hong Kong home broadband networks can be targeted by name: HKT’s Netvigator, Hong Kong Broadband Network (HKBN), HGC, the broadband service of China Mobile Hong Kong, SmarTone’s home broadband and HK Cable TV. These are the brands local households pay for, so a session on any of them looks like an ordinary home connection.
Why the long tail matters. Anti-bot systems look at which network a request comes from, and a pool built on one ISP is easy to rate-limit. Mixing Netvigator fibre in Wan Chai with HKBN in Sha Tin makes traffic look like ordinary Hong Kong households.

Free Hong Kong proxy lists vs paid Hong Kong proxies
Why free lists rarely work on Hong Kong sites
A free Hong Kong proxy or a list of free HK proxy servers is easy to find, but most entries are open servers already abused by thousands of users. They go offline within hours and are blacklisted by the Hong Kong sites you want to reach.
| Free Hong Kong proxy lists | ProxyEmpire Hong Kong proxies | |
|---|---|---|
| IP source | Open or hijacked servers, mostly data centres | Real Hong Kong homes and CMHK, csl, 3 and SmarTone SIM cards |
| Uptime | Minutes to hours before an IP disappears | Always-on pool, with rotating, sticky or static IPs |
| Blocks | Usually blacklisted on major Hong Kong sites | Looks like an ordinary local visitor |
| Targeting | Location at best | District, neighbourhood, ZIP, ISP, ASN and OS fingerprint |
| Security | Unknown operator can log or alter your traffic | Authenticated access over HTTP(S) or SOCKS5 |
| Cost | Free | From $1.50/GB, with a $1.97 trial |

Hong Kong proxy FAQ
Straight answers
What is a Hong Kong proxy (HK proxy)?
A Hong Kong proxy server, or HK proxy, gives you a Hong Kong IP address so websites treat you as a local visitor. A residential proxy in Hong Kong goes further: it routes traffic through a real household’s connection on a network like Netvigator or HKBN, not a data centre.
Can I target specific Hong Kong districts or ISPs?
Yes. You can target 17 of the 18 districts, 14 named neighbourhoods such as Mong Kok, Tsim Sha Tsui and Tseung Kwan O, and six home broadband networks. Residential and mobile also support ZIP, ASN and OS fingerprint targeting. Datacenter and static proxies are targeted Hong Kong-wide.
Do you offer Hong Kong mobile proxies?
Yes, on all four major mobile networks: China Mobile Hong Kong, csl, 3 Hong Kong and SmarTone, plus China Unicom Global. A Hong Kong mobile proxy uses IPs shared by many real subscribers, which makes it among the hardest traffic for websites to block.
Do you have Hong Kong datacenter proxies?
Yes. Rotating datacenter proxies with Hong Kong IPs start at $25 for 40 GB, down to $0.35/GB on larger plans. They are targeted Hong Kong-wide and suit high-volume work on lightly protected sites.
Do you sell static residential IPs in Hong Kong?
Yes. You get a dedicated Hong Kong residential IP that stays the same all month, from $3.50 for one IP down to $2.00 per IP at 2,000 IPs, traffic included under a 100 GB fair-use cap.
How much do Hong Kong proxies cost?
Rotating residential starts at $1.50/GB on larger plans, rotating mobile at $2.00/GB and rotating datacenter at $0.35/GB. Static residential runs $3.50 for one IP down to $2.00 per IP a month. Hong Kong targeting is included at no extra charge, and you can start with a $1.97 trial.
Can I keep the same Hong Kong IP?
Yes. Rotating residential, mobile and datacenter proxies all support sticky sessions, which hold the same Hong Kong IP across requests. For a permanently fixed IP, use static residential.
Which protocols and tools are supported?
HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5. The proxies work with any scraper, rank tracker, headless browser, anti-detect browser or HTTP library, and there is no limit on concurrent sessions.
Is there a free Hong Kong proxy that works?
For a one-off look at a page, sometimes. For regular work, no: a free HK proxy is slow, shared, usually blocked on the big Hong Kong sites and often run by someone who logs your traffic. We do not offer free proxies either; the $1.97 trial is the cheapest way to test clean Hong Kong IPs.
Is using a proxy legal in Hong Kong?
Proxies themselves are a standard business tool in Hong Kong. What matters is how you use them: respect each site’s terms of service, and follow the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance when you collect personal data.
