Macao (Macau) IPs from real homes and SIM cards
Macanese proxies on real CTM home fibre and the CTM and China Telecom (Macau) mobile networks. Our Macao proxies give you a genuine local IP for search checks, hotel-rate monitoring and app testing, with rotating or sticky sessions and no limit on concurrent sessions.
Pay per GB, not per IP: residential from $1.50/GB. Unused bandwidth rolls over.
Choose your Macao proxy type
Two ways to get a Macao IP address
Rotating residential
Macao residential proxy IPs on real CTM home fibre, so every Macau proxy server in the pool looks like an ordinary household. Best for scraping, hotel and price monitoring and SERP tracking on Google.com.hk.
- Macao-wide, ISP and ASN targeting
- New IP per request or sticky sessions
- OS fingerprint targeting (Windows, macOS, Linux, Android)
- Pay as you go from 1 GB
Rotating mobile
Macau mobile proxy IPs on the CTM and China Telecom (Macau) networks. Best for social media, app testing and the strictest anti-bot systems.
- Macao-wide, carrier and ASN targeting
- OS fingerprint targeting
- Rotate on demand or keep a sticky session
Need the same IP for weeks at a time? Static residential proxies are not offered in Macao, and neither are datacenter IPs. The nearest location with both is Hong Kong, or use sticky sessions to hold the same Macao IP on either proxy type above.
Macao at a glance
Why a local IP changes what you see
Hotel rates and packages, rankings on Google.com.hk, deals and delivery fees on Aomi (澳覓) and the ads served to Macao users all depend on where a request comes from. An IP from Hong Kong, Singapore or the US often gets a different price, a different language version or a different set of offers.
Macao sites also check the network. On well-protected sites, data centre traffic is flagged as a bot straight away, while a CTM fibre line or a China Telecom (Macau) SIM looks like an ordinary local customer, because it is one.
| Fact | Figure | Why it matters for proxy work |
|---|---|---|
| Population | 686,500 (end of June 2026) | A small, very dense city, so the quality of the local IPs matters more than the size of the pool. |
| Land area | 33.3 km²: the Macao Peninsula plus Taipa and Coloane, joined by the Cotai reclamation | The whole city is one local market, so Macao-wide targeting already puts you where your target’s users are. |
| Currency | Macao pataca (MOP), linked to the Hong Kong dollar at HK$1 = MOP 1.03 | Local sites quote patacas, and only a Macao IP shows local prices, fees and offers reliably. |
| Language & script | Chinese (Cantonese in daily use) and Portuguese; Chinese written in Traditional characters; English common in tourism | Sites serve Traditional Chinese, Portuguese and English versions, and a Macao IP gets the local edition. |
| Internet use | 94.0% of residents aged 3 and over online; 97.7% of households connected (2024) | Almost everyone is online, so residential and mobile IPs blend in with normal traffic. |
| Online shopping | 245,500 residents shopped online in 2024, up 3.3% on 2023 | A growing online market, which is what price and promotion monitoring is for. |
| Visitors | 40.07 million visitor arrivals in 2025, up 14.7% on 2024 | Hotel, travel and dining prices move with visitor demand, so rate checks from a local IP pay off. |
| Mobile | 1,435,118 mobile subscriptions, 1.20 million of them on 5G; 219,451 fibre broadband subscriptions (June 2026) | Mobile subscriptions outnumber residents two to one, so mobile IPs look like ordinary local traffic. |

What our Macao proxy coverage actually reaches
Read from the live API, not a brochure
Macao is compact, and our API treats it as one location. You pick Macao, then narrow the session by network, ASN or OS fingerprint rather than by parish or neighbourhood. Here is exactly what the API returned on 24 September 2026, with nothing padded.
Areas: Macao-wide targeting
No parishes, areas or city sub-locations are listed for Macao, so we do not claim any. IPs come from homes and SIM cards in Macao, but you cannot pin a session to the Macao Peninsula, Taipa, Cotai or Coloane specifically. For most work this does not matter: in a city of 33.3 km², local sites, prices and search results are served to the whole of Macao, not district by district.
Home broadband network
Residential IPs come from CTM, Macao’s long-established fixed-line operator, whose fibre reaches homes across the city. It is the only home broadband network our API lists for Macao. MTel, the other fixed-line licensee, is not in our pool, and we say so rather than round the count up.
Mobile carriers
Both carriers can be targeted by name. Macao’s mobile market is getting smaller: SmarTone closed its Macao network in November 2024, and 3 Macau (Hutchison) ends mobile service on 1 December 2026, with its customers moving to CTM. 3 Macau is not in our pool, so after that date our mobile proxies cover both of the networks that remain.
Why the network matters. Anti-bot systems look at which network a request comes from. A data centre address in Hong Kong is easy to spot on a Macao site, while a CTM fibre line or a China Telecom (Macau) SIM is the same kind of connection local users have, so the traffic looks like ordinary Macao households and phones.
What teams use Macanese proxies for
Common workloads on our Macao network
Hotel & travel rate monitoring
Track room rates, packages and availability for Macao hotels on booking sites and hotel websites as local users see them, and compare them with what other markets are shown.
SEO & SERP tracking
Check rankings, local results and ads on Google.com.hk from a Macao IP, for Traditional Chinese, Portuguese and English queries, instead of a Hong Kong location.
Local e-commerce & delivery
Monitor deals, menus, delivery fees and group-buy offers on Aomi (澳覓), Macao’s everyday food delivery and local services app, in patacas.
Dining, jobs & local listings
Collect restaurant ratings from OpenRice Macau and job listings from macauHR, with requests spread across real local connections.
Ad verification & localisation QA
Confirm Macao campaigns run on local publishers such as Macao Daily (澳門日報) and Macau Business, and that Chinese, Portuguese and English landing pages render correctly.
App testing & multilingual data
Test sign-up and checkout flows on a real CTM or China Telecom (Macau) connection, and gather public Traditional Chinese and Portuguese text for AI datasets.

Residential or mobile: which Macanese proxy do you need?
Match the proxy to the job
Between mobile and residential proxies, mobile IPs are the hardest to block and residential IPs are the best value per GB. Many teams run both from one account and switch per task.

Free Macau proxy lists vs paid Macao proxies
Why free lists rarely work on Macao sites
A free Macau proxy or a list of free Macao proxy servers is easy to find, but most entries are open servers already abused by thousands of users, and many are not even in Macao. They go offline within hours and are blacklisted by the sites you want to reach.
| Free Macau proxy lists | ProxyEmpire Macao proxies | |
|---|---|---|
| IP source | Open or hijacked servers, mostly data centres | Real Macao homes on CTM fibre and CTM and China Telecom (Macau) SIM cards |
| Uptime | Minutes to hours before an IP disappears | Always-on pool, with rotating or sticky sessions |
| Blocks | Usually blacklisted on major sites | Looks like an ordinary local visitor |
| Targeting | Location at best | Macao-wide, ISP or carrier, ASN and OS fingerprint |
| Security | Unknown operator can log or alter your traffic | Authenticated access over HTTP(S) or SOCKS5 |
| Cost | Free | From $1.50/GB, with a $1.97 trial |

Macao proxy FAQ
Straight answers
What is a Macao proxy (澳門代理)?
A Macao proxy, often searched as a Macau proxy server, gives you a Macao IP address so websites treat you as a local visitor. A residential proxy in Macao goes further: it routes traffic through a real household’s CTM fibre connection, not a data centre.
Is it a Macao proxy or a Macau proxy?
Both spellings mean the same place. Macao is the spelling used in official English, for example by the Statistics and Census Service, and Macau is the Portuguese spelling that is also common in English. A Macau proxy and a Macao proxy are the same product: an IP address located in Macao.
Can I target specific areas or ISPs in Macao?
You can target Macao as a whole, then choose the ISP (CTM for home broadband) or the mobile carrier, plus ASN and OS fingerprint. Our API lists no parishes or sub-areas for Macao, so a session cannot be pinned to Taipa or the Macao Peninsula specifically.
Do you offer Macao mobile proxies?
Yes, on CTM and China Telecom (Macau). A Macao mobile proxy uses IPs shared by many real subscribers, which makes it among the hardest traffic for websites to block. 3 Macau is not in our pool; it ends mobile service on 1 December 2026.
Do you have Macao datacenter or static IPs?
No. Neither datacenter nor static residential IPs are offered in Macao. The nearest location with both is Hong Kong, where datacenter IPs start at $0.35/GB and static residential IPs at $2.00 per IP a month.
How much do Macao proxies cost?
Rotating residential starts at $1.50/GB on larger plans and $3.50 for 1 GB pay as you go, and rotating mobile at $2.00/GB. Macao targeting is included at no extra charge, and you can start with a $1.97 trial.
Can I keep the same Macao IP?
Yes. Rotating residential and mobile proxies both support sticky sessions, which hold the same Macao IP across requests, or you can get a new IP on every request.
Which protocols and tools are supported?
HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5. The proxies work with any scraper, rank tracker, headless browser, anti-detect browser or HTTP library, and there is no limit on concurrent sessions.
Why not use a free Macau proxy?
Free proxies are slow, shared, blocked on most major sites and often run by operators who log or resell your traffic. Many free entries labelled Macao are not even located there. We do not offer free proxies either; the $1.97 trial is the cheapest way to test clean Macao IPs.
Is using a proxy legal in Macao?
Proxies themselves are a standard business tool in Macao. What matters is how you use them: respect each site’s terms of service, and follow Macao’s Personal Data Protection Act when you collect personal data.
