Puerto Rican IPs from real homes and phones
Puerto Rican proxies on real home connections from Claro, Liberty and 12 more networks, and on Claro and T-Mobile SIM cards. Our Puerto Rico proxies give you a genuine Puerto Rico IP address, located on the island rather than in the 50 states, with rotating or sticky sessions. Start with a $1.97 trial, then pay as you go from 1 GB.
Priced per GB, not per IP: residential from $1.50/GB. Unused bandwidth rolls over.
Choose your Puerto Rico proxy type
Two ways to get a Puerto Rico IP address
Rotating residential
A Puerto Rico proxy server on real household connections: Claro and Liberty lines plus local fixed-wireless and fibre providers such as AeroNet, Neptuno Media and OSNet Wireless. Best for classifieds, price and shipping checks, local search and ad verification.
- Island-wide IPs with ISP and ASN targeting
- New IP per request or sticky sessions
- OS fingerprint targeting (Windows, macOS, Linux, Android)
- Pay as you go from 1 GB
Rotating mobile
Puerto Rican proxies on Claro and T-Mobile SIM cards, so your sessions look like a local phone. Best for app testing, social media and the strictest anti-bot systems.
- Claro or T-Mobile carrier targeting, plus ASN
- Island-wide mobile IPs
- OS fingerprint targeting
- Rotate on demand or keep a sticky session
Need the same IP for weeks at a time? Static residential proxies are not offered in Puerto Rico. The nearest static location is the United States, whose static IPs are not sold as Puerto Rico IPs; or use sticky sessions to hold the same Puerto Rican IP on residential or mobile. Datacenter IPs are not available in Puerto Rico either.
Puerto Rico at a glance
Why a local IP changes what you see
Puerto Rico is a Caribbean island east of Hispaniola and a territory of the United States, officially the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. It uses the US dollar and US ZIP codes, so it is easy to assume that any American IP shows you the same web. It does not.
A visitor in San Juan is not a visitor in Miami or New York. Online shops can quote different shipping options, delivery times and totals to Puerto Rico, and search results, classifieds and ads are built for a mostly Spanish-speaking local audience. In our dashboard Puerto Rico has its own location code, PR. Choose Puerto Rico, not the United States, to see what a Puerto Rican visitor sees.
| Fact | Figure | Why it matters for proxy work |
|---|---|---|
| Territory | US territory (Commonwealth of Puerto Rico), 78 municipios, capital San Juan | Sites that treat the US as one market can still show Puerto Rico visitors different shipping, pricing and content. |
| Population | 3,285,874 at the 2020 census; 3,184,835 estimated at 1 July 2025 | A market of about 3.2 million people whose local results and ads are easy to miss from the mainland. |
| Largest municipios | San Juan (about 330,000), followed by Bayamรณn, Carolina, Ponce and Caguas | Targeting is set at island level, so one setting covers the whole of Puerto Rico. |
| Currency | US dollar (USD) | Prices are in dollars, as on the mainland; check the shipping fees and totals a visitor in Puerto Rico is quoted. |
| Language at home | Spanish for most residents; about 95% speak a language other than English at home | Most local sites are in Spanish, so compare Spanish and English results from a Puerto Rico IP. |
| Mobile networks | Three main networks: Claro, T-Mobile and Liberty (which took over AT&T’s Puerto Rico network in 2020) | Claro and T-Mobile are in our mobile pool; Liberty is not at the moment. |
| Internet domain | .pr; many local sites use .com, such as elnuevodia.com and clasificadosonline.com | The IP decides what you are shown, not the domain. |

What our Puerto Rico proxy coverage actually reaches
Read from the live API, not a brochure
Puerto Rico coverage is set at island level. The API lists Puerto Rico as its own location, PR, for both residential and mobile, with no region or city entries. Every session targets Puerto Rico as a whole, and you narrow it down by network.
One target for the whole island
Puerto Rico has 78 municipios, from San Juan, Bayamรณn and Carolina to Ponce, Mayagรผez and the island municipios of Vieques and Culebra. None of them is a target of its own at the moment, so your IP comes from wherever our Puerto Rico pool has devices online. We checked the United States location too: its 51 region targets are the 50 states plus Washington, DC, and its city list has no Puerto Rico entries.
Puerto Rico home ISPs you can target
The API lists 14 home internet providers for Puerto Rico: the two big fixed-line operators, Claro and Liberty; 11 local fixed-wireless and fibre providers such as AeroNet, Neptuno Media, OSNet Wireless, DM Wireless and XairNet; and Starlink satellite connections. Target any of them by name or by ASN. No resellers are added to pad the list.
Puerto Rico mobile proxy carriers
Mobile IPs in Puerto Rico come from two networks, Claro and T-Mobile, listed in the API as Claro Puerto Rico and T-Mobile USA. Puerto Rico has three main mobile networks today; the third, Liberty, which took over AT&T’s wireless business on the island in 2020, is not in our mobile pool at the moment. For Liberty traffic, use its home broadband IPs on residential.
Why the network mix matters. Anti-bot systems look at which network a request comes from. Spreading sessions across Claro and Liberty lines, local fixed-wireless providers and SIM cards makes your traffic look like ordinary Puerto Rican households and phones, not one easy-to-spot source.

Puerto Rico proxy FAQ
Straight answers
What is a Puerto Rico proxy server (PR proxy)?
A Puerto Rico proxy server gives you a Puerto Rico IP address, so websites and apps treat you as a visitor on the island. In Spanish it is simply a “proxy Puerto Rico”. A Puerto Rico residential proxy routes your traffic through a real household connection on Claro, Liberty or a local provider instead of a data centre, which makes it far less likely to be flagged.
Is a Puerto Rico IP address the same as a US IP?
No. Puerto Rico is a US territory, but it has its own location code, PR, and a Puerto Rico IP address is located on the island. Our United States location covers the 50 states and Washington, DC. Choose Puerto Rico in the dashboard to get one.
Can I target specific municipios or ISPs in Puerto Rico?
You can target the 14 home internet providers the API lists, including Claro and Liberty, plus ASN and OS fingerprint. Municipios and cities are not individual targets at the moment: sessions cover Puerto Rico as a whole.
Do you offer Puerto Rico mobile proxies?
Yes, on Claro and T-Mobile SIM cards. Mobile IPs are shared by many real subscribers, so they are among the hardest IPs to block. Liberty mobile IPs are not in the pool at the moment.
Do you have Puerto Rico datacenter or static IPs?
Not at the moment. Datacenter and static residential proxies are not offered with Puerto Rican IPs. Static residential and datacenter IPs are sold in the United States, but not as Puerto Rico IPs.
How much do Puerto Rico proxies cost?
Rotating residential starts at $1.50/GB on larger plans and rotating mobile at $2.00/GB, billed in US dollars. Targeting is included at no extra charge, and you can start with a $1.97 trial. Pay As You Go lets you buy a single GB of residential traffic for $3.50, with no subscription.
Can I keep the same Puerto Rico IP?
Yes. Rotating residential and mobile proxies both support sticky sessions, which keep the same Puerto Rican IP across requests instead of switching on every request.
Which protocols and tools are supported?
HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5. The proxies work with any scraper, browser, anti-detect browser or HTTP library, and there is no limit on concurrent sessions.
Is there a free Puerto Rico proxy that works?
For a quick look at a page, maybe. For regular work, free lists fall short: entries are slow, short-lived and often flagged, many are not in Puerto Rico at all, and you cannot tell who runs the server.
Is using a proxy legal?
Proxies are a standard tool for price monitoring, SEO and ad verification. What matters is how you use them: respect each site’s terms of service and the privacy rules that apply when you collect personal data.
