Our Dominican Republic proxies cover 28 provinces plus the Distrito Nacional and 43 locations, from Santo Domingo and Santiago de los Caballeros to Puerto Plata and HigΓΌey. Priced per GB, not per IP: residential from $1.50/GB. Unused bandwidth rolls over.
Choose your Dominican Republic proxy type
Two ways to get a Dominican IP
Rotating residential
Our Dominican Republic residential proxy pool: home broadband IPs from the Cibao valley to the east coast, on Claro, Altice, Wind Telecom and dozens of local cable networks. Best for retail and classifieds scraping, price monitoring and SERP tracking.
- Province, city, ZIP, ISP and ASN targeting
- New IP per request or sticky sessions
- OS fingerprint targeting (Windows, macOS, Linux, Android)
- Pay as you go from 1 GB
Rotating mobile
Dominican mobile proxy IPs on Claro, Altice and Viva, the three networks Dominicans use today. Best for social media, app testing and the strictest anti-bot systems.
- Province, city, ZIP, carrier and ASN targeting
- OS fingerprint targeting
- Rotate on demand or keep a sticky session
- Pay as you go from 1 GB
Need the same IP for weeks at a time? Static residential proxies are not offered in the Dominican Republic, and neither are datacenter IPs. Use sticky sessions to hold the same Dominican IP on either proxy type above.
The Dominican Republic at a glance
Why a local IP changes what you see
Search results on Google.com.do, prices at La Sirena and Plaza Lama, listings on Corotos and the ads shown to Dominican users all depend on where a request comes from. A visitor in Santo Domingo and one abroad can see different prices, stock, delivery options and even currencies on the same page.
The Dominican Republic (RepΓΊblica Dominicana, often shortened to RD) shares the island of Hispaniola with Haiti. The 2022 national census counted 10.76 million people, and more than a third of them live in Greater Santo Domingo: the Distrito Nacional plus Santo Domingo province. Santiago province, home of Santiago de los Caballeros, is second with 1.07 million.
It is also a phone-first market. INDOTEL, the telecoms regulator, counted 10.1 million mobile internet accounts at the end of 2025, against 1.32 million fixed internet connections. To a Dominican website, a phone on Claro or Altice is an entirely ordinary visitor, while data-centre traffic stands out quickly on well-protected sites.
| Fact | Figure | Why it matters for proxy work |
|---|---|---|
| Population | 10,760,028 (2022 census) | A Spanish-speaking market of more than ten million people, where local and foreign visitors can see different versions of the same site. |
| Territory | 31 provinces plus the Distrito Nacional, on the eastern two-thirds of Hispaniola | Our region targeting follows the provinces, so you can see a page as a visitor in Santiago, La Altagracia or Puerto Plata sees it. |
| Largest urban area | Greater Santo Domingo, about 3.8 million people | The capital area is the biggest audience, but Santiago and the tourist east are separate audiences, so test more than one location. |
| Currency | Dominican peso (DOP, written RD$), issued by the Banco Central de la RepΓΊblica Dominicana | Property and car listings are often priced in both RD$ and US$, so check which currency your scraper records. |
| Language | Spanish (official) | Google.com.do and most local sites default to Spanish, so results in Spanish and English differ. |
| Mobile networks | Claro 63.7%, Altice 33.5% and Viva 2.8% of 11.0 million active lines (end of 2025) | We reach all three networks. |
| Internet access | 10.1 million mobile internet accounts and 1.32 million fixed connections (end of 2025) | Mobile accounts outnumber fixed connections more than seven to one, so mobile IPs blend in on apps and social platforms. |

What our Dominican Republic coverage actually reaches
Read from the live API, not a brochure
Most providers list the Dominican Republic as a single country checkbox. Here you can pin a session to the province, city and network your target cares about.
28 provinces plus the Distrito Nacional
The API returns 29 of the country’s 32 first-level divisions, from Montecristi and DajabΓ³n on the north-west border to La Altagracia in the east. Three provinces, Independencia, Pedernales and San JosΓ© de Ocoa, are not in the pool at the moment, so they cannot be targeted on their own.
43 targetable locations
Every location in the API is listed here: 39 cities and towns (SosΓΊa and Cabarete share one entry) plus four neighbourhoods, Los Prados in the Distrito Nacional, Sabana Perdida and San Isidro in Santo Domingo province, and Bella Vista in Santiago.
Punta Cana and BΓ‘varo are not separate targets. Target La Altagracia province, where they are located, or the nearby city of HigΓΌey.
Dominican mobile proxy carriers
All three mobile networks in service are in our mobile pool. Claro is the largest, followed by Altice; together they hold more than 97% of active lines, and Viva has the rest. Viettel was awarded spectrum in August 2026 to become a new operator but has not launched service yet, so it is not in the pool.
Fixed-line ISPs
The national networks are covered: Claro, Altice and Wind Telecom. So are regional cable and fibre providers such as Telecable Central, Telecable Puerto Plata, Mao Cable VisiΓ³n, Montecristi Cable VisiΓ³n, Tele-CotuΓ and Telecable Sabaneta. Smaller local operators make up the rest: more than 70 networks in total.
Why the long tail matters. Claro and Altice dominate Dominican home internet, but INDOTEL counts more than 110,000 fixed connections on smaller local operators beyond Claro, Altice, Wind Telecom and Starlink. A pool built on one or two national providers is easy to spot; IPs spread across dozens of local networks look like ordinary Dominican households.
What teams use Dominican proxies for
Common workloads on our Dominican network
Retail & price monitoring
Track prices, promotions and stock at La Sirena, Plaza Lama and Farmacia Carol exactly as Dominican shoppers see them, in pesos and with local delivery options.
Google.com.do SERP tracking
Check Google.com.do rankings, map packs and ads from Santo Domingo or Santiago, in Spanish or English, instead of one generic “Dominican Republic” location.
Social media & app testing
Run Dominican accounts, follow Spanish-language conversations and test apps from mobile IPs on Claro, Altice or Viva, so sessions look like a local phone rather than a server.
Classifieds, property & car data
Collect listings from Corotos, SuperCasas and SuperCarros to follow rents, house prices and used-car values by province, whether they are quoted in RD$ or US$.
News sites & ad verification
Confirm that campaigns aimed at the Dominican Republic appear on Diario Libre and ListΓn Diario in the right cities, and see the ads on those news sites as local readers do.
Travel & tourism pricing
See Arajet fares, hotel rates and tour prices for Punta Cana, Puerto Plata or SamanΓ‘ as travellers inside the country see them, and compare them with what foreign visitors are shown.

Free Dominican Republic proxy lists vs paid Dominican proxies
Why free lists rarely work on Dominican sites
Free Dominican Republic proxy lists are easy to find, but most entries are open servers already abused by thousands of users. They go offline within hours and are blacklisted by the Dominican shops, banks and apps you want to reach. A cheap residential proxy trial costs less than the time lost on dead IPs.
| Free Dominican Republic proxy lists | ProxyEmpire Dominican proxies | |
|---|---|---|
| IP source | Open or hijacked servers, mostly data centres | Real Dominican homes and Claro, Altice and Viva SIM cards |
| Uptime | Minutes to hours before an IP disappears | Always-on pool, with rotating or sticky sessions |
| Blocks | Usually blacklisted on major Dominican sites | Looks like an ordinary local visitor |
| Targeting | Country at best | Province, city, ZIP, ISP, ASN and OS fingerprint |
| Security | Unknown operator can log or alter your traffic | Authenticated access over HTTP(S) or SOCKS5 |
| Cost | Free | From $1.50/GB, with a $1.97 trial |

Dominican Republic proxy FAQ
Straight answers
What is a Dominican proxy, and what makes it residential?
A Dominican proxy (DO proxy) is a Dominican proxy server that gives you a Dominican Republic IP address, so websites treat you as a visitor from the Dominican Republic. A Dominican Republic residential proxy goes one step further: it routes your traffic through a real Dominican household’s connection, on a network like Claro, Altice or a local cable operator, instead of a data centre. That makes it far less likely to be blocked.
Is this the same as Dominica?
No. Dominica is a separate island nation in the Eastern Caribbean. This page covers the Dominican Republic, on the island of Hispaniola, with its capital in Santo Domingo.
Can I target specific Dominican provinces, cities or ISPs?
Yes. You can target 28 provinces plus the Distrito Nacional, 43 cities, towns and neighbourhoods, and more than 70 local ISPs. ISP targeting lets you pin a rotating residential or mobile session to one named provider, such as Claro or Wind Telecom. Residential and mobile proxies can also be targeted by ZIP code, ASN and OS fingerprint.
Do you offer Dominican Republic mobile proxies?
Yes. Rotating mobile proxies are available on Claro, Altice and Viva. Mobile IPs are shared by many real subscribers, which makes them among the hardest IPs for websites to block.
How much do Dominican Republic proxies cost?
Rotating residential starts at $1.50/GB on larger plans and rotating mobile at $2.00/GB. Pay As You Go lets you buy a single GB of residential traffic for $3.50, with no subscription. Dominican targeting is included at no extra charge, and you can start with a $1.97 trial. Datacenter proxies are not offered in the Dominican Republic.
Can I keep the same Dominican Republic IP address?
Yes. Rotating residential and mobile proxies both support sticky sessions, which keep the same Dominican IP across requests. Static residential IPs are not offered in the Dominican Republic.
Which protocols and tools are supported?
HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5. The proxies work with any scraper, headless browser, anti-detect browser or HTTP library, and there is no limit on concurrent sessions.
Why not use a free Dominican Republic proxy?
Free proxies are slow, blocked on most major sites, and often run by operators who log or resell your traffic. For anything work-related, a paid residential proxy is safer and far more reliable.
Is using a proxy in the Dominican Republic legal?
Proxies are a standard tool for price monitoring, SEO and ad verification. What matters is how you use them: respect websites’ terms of service, and follow Law 172-13 on the protection of personal data whenever you collect personal data about people in the Dominican Republic.
