Three ways to get a Mexican IP
Rotating residential
Our Mexico residential proxy pool: home broadband IPs from the northern border to the YucatΓ‘n Peninsula. Best for marketplace scraping, price monitoring and SERP tracking.
- State, city, ZIP, ISP and ASN targeting
- New IP per request or sticky sessions
- OS fingerprint targeting (Windows, macOS, Linux, Android)
- Pay as you go from 1 GB
Rotating mobile
Mexico mobile proxy IPs on Telcel, AT&T Mexico and Movistar. Best for social media, app testing and the strictest anti-bot systems.
- State, city, ZIP, carrier and ASN targeting
- OS fingerprint targeting
- Rotate on demand or keep a sticky session
Rotating datacenter
Fast, low-cost Mexican datacenter IPs. Best for high-volume jobs on sites with light bot protection.
- Mexico country-level targeting
- New IP per request or sticky sessions
- Lowest cost per GB for bulk traffic
- Plans from 40 GB for $25
Need the same IP for weeks at a time? Static residential proxies are not offered in Mexico. The nearest static location is the United States, or use sticky sessions to hold the same Mexican IP on any of the three proxy types above.
Mexico at a glance
Why a local IP changes what you see
Search results on Google.com.mx, prices and delivery dates on Mercado Libre and Amazon.com.mx, and the ads shown to Mexican users all depend on where a request comes from. A shopper in Monterrey and one in MΓ©rida can see different shipping fees, stock and promotions on the same listing.
Mexico is also a phone-first market. INEGI counted 104.9 million internet users in 2025, and 97.3% of them go online with a smartphone. To a Mexican website, a phone on Telcel, AT&T or Movistar is an entirely ordinary visitor.
Mexican marketplaces, banks and ticketing sites also check the network. On well-protected sites, data-centre traffic is flagged as a bot straight away, while a Telmex, Totalplay, izzi or Megacable home connection looks like an ordinary Mexican customer.
| Fact | Figure | Why it matters for proxy work |
|---|---|---|
| Population | 130.9 million (Intercensal Survey 2025) | A large Spanish-speaking online market, so volume is there when a job needs many IPs. |
| Federal entities | 32: 31 states plus Mexico City | Our region targeting uses all 32, so you can see a page as a visitor in Jalisco, Nuevo LeΓ³n or YucatΓ‘n sees it. |
| Time zones | Four: Southeast, Central, Pacific and Northwest | CancΓΊn runs an hour ahead of Mexico City and Tijuana one or two hours behind, depending on the season, so flash sales and ad schedules shift by region. |
| Currency | Mexican peso (MXN), issued by Banco de MΓ©xico | Pesos are shown with the same “$” sign as US dollars, so check prices on the Mexican version of a site. |
| Internet use | 104.9 million users, 86.1% of people aged six and over (2025) | Almost every user is on a smartphone, so mobile IPs blend in on apps and social platforms. |
| Language | Spanish; indigenous languages are also national languages | Google.com.mx and most local sites default to Spanish, so results in Spanish and English differ. |
| Mobile networks | Telcel, AT&T Mexico and Movistar, plus virtual operators such as Bait | We reach all three network brands. |

What our Mexico coverage actually reaches
Read from the live API, not a brochure
Most providers list Mexico as a single country checkbox. Here you can pin a session to the state, city and network your target cares about.
All 31 states and Mexico City
The API returns all 32 federal entities, from Baja California in the north-west to Quintana Roo in the south-east.
400+ targetable cities and towns
Coverage runs well beyond the three big metro areas. Here are 72 of the more than 400 cities and towns you can target, from border cities to state capitals and beach resorts:
Mexico City boroughs such as CoyoacΓ‘n, Iztapalapa, Tlalpan and Xochimilco can also be targeted on their own.
Mexico mobile proxy carriers
All three mobile network brands are in our mobile pool. Telcel is the largest; Movistar has used AT&T’s radio network since 2020 but keeps its own core network, and in April 2026 TelefΓ³nica agreed to sell it to a consortium led by OXIO. The API also lists Red Compartida, the AltΓ‘n Redes wholesale network used by Bait and other virtual operators. It is not a carrier brand, so we don’t count it, and Bait is not listed on its own.
Fixed-line ISPs
The national networks are covered: Telmex (Infinitum), Totalplay, izzi and Megacable. So are regional cable and fibre providers such as Telecable de Rioverde in San Luis PotosΓ, TV Cable del Guadiana, Cosmocable and Maya Connection. Smaller local operators make up the rest: more than 60 networks in total.
Why the long tail matters. Outside the big cities, a lot of Mexican home internet comes from local cable and wireless operators. A pool built on one or two national providers is easy to spot; IPs spread across dozens of local networks look like ordinary Mexican households.
What teams use Mexican proxies for
Common workloads on our Mexican network
Marketplace scraping & price monitoring
Track prices, promotions, stock and shipping fees on Mercado Libre MΓ©xico, Amazon.com.mx, Walmart, Liverpool and Coppel exactly as Mexican shoppers see them, in pesos and state by state.
Google.com.mx SERP tracking
Check Google.com.mx rankings, map packs and ads from Mexico City, Guadalajara or Monterrey, in Spanish or English, instead of one generic “Mexico” location.
Social media & app testing
Run Mexican accounts, follow Spanish-language conversations and test apps from mobile IPs on Telcel, AT&T or Movistar, so sessions look like a local phone rather than a server.
Border & cross-border checks
Compare what visitors in Tijuana, Mexicali or Ciudad JuΓ‘rez see with the US side of the border: prices, shipping options and ads often change at the frontier.
Classifieds, property & car data
Collect listings from Inmuebles24, Kavak and Seminuevos.com to follow rents, house prices and used-car values city by city.
Travel & ad verification
See Volaris fares and hotel prices as travellers in Mexico see them, and confirm that campaigns aimed at Mexico run in the right cities and time zones.

Free Mexico proxy lists vs paid Mexican proxies
Why free lists rarely work on Mexican sites
Free Mexico proxy lists and proxy sites are easy to find, but most entries are open servers already abused by thousands of users. They go offline within hours and are blacklisted by the Mexican marketplaces, banks and apps you want to reach. A cheap residential proxy trial costs less than the time lost on dead IPs.
| Free Mexico proxy lists | ProxyEmpire Mexican proxies | |
|---|---|---|
| IP source | Open or hijacked servers, mostly data centres | Real Mexican homes and Telcel, AT&T and Movistar SIM cards |
| Uptime | Minutes to hours before an IP disappears | Always-on pool, with rotating or sticky sessions |
| Blocks | Usually blacklisted on major Mexican sites | Looks like an ordinary local visitor |
| Targeting | Country at best | State, city, ZIP, ISP, ASN and OS fingerprint |
| Security | Unknown operator can log or alter your traffic | Authenticated access over HTTP(S) or SOCKS5 |
| Cost | Free | From $1.50/GB, with a $1.97 trial |

Mexico proxy FAQ
Straight answers
What is a Mexican proxy, and what makes it residential?
A Mexican proxy (MX proxy) is a Mexico proxy server that gives you a Mexican IP address, so websites treat you as a visitor from Mexico. A Mexico residential proxy (proxy residencial in Spanish) goes one step further: it routes your traffic through a real Mexican household’s connection, on a network like Telmex, Totalplay or izzi, instead of a data centre. That makes it far less likely to be blocked.
Can I target specific Mexican states, cities or ISPs?
Yes. You can target all 31 states and Mexico City, more than 400 cities and towns plus Mexico City boroughs, and more than 60 local ISPs. If you are looking for a Mexico ISP proxy, ISP targeting lets you pin a rotating residential or mobile session to one named provider, such as Megacable or Telcel. Residential and mobile proxies can also be targeted by ZIP code, ASN and OS fingerprint. Datacenter proxies are targeted at country level.
Do you offer Mexico mobile proxies?
Yes. Rotating mobile proxies are available on Telcel, AT&T Mexico and Movistar. Mobile IPs are shared by many real subscribers, which makes them among the hardest IPs for websites to block.
Do you have Mexican datacenter proxies?
Yes. Rotating datacenter proxies with Mexican IPs start at $25 for 40 GB and go down to $0.35/GB. They are targeted at country level and suit high-volume work on lightly protected sites; for Mercado Libre, Amazon.com.mx and other well-protected sites, use residential or mobile IPs.
How much do Mexico proxies cost?
Rotating residential starts at $1.50/GB on larger plans, rotating mobile at $2.00/GB and rotating datacenter at $0.35/GB. Mexican targeting is included at no extra charge, and you can start with a $1.97 trial.
Can I buy Mexico proxies without a subscription?
Yes. Pay As You Go lets you buy a single GB of residential traffic for $3.50 and top up only when you need more. Unused bandwidth rolls over.
Can I keep the same Mexican IP?
Yes. Rotating residential, mobile and datacenter proxies all support sticky sessions, which keep the same Mexican IP across requests. Static residential IPs are not offered in Mexico; the nearest static location is the United States.
Which protocols and tools are supported?
HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5. The proxies work with any scraper, headless browser, anti-detect browser or HTTP library, and there is no limit on concurrent sessions.
Why not use a free Mexico proxy?
Free proxies are slow, blocked on most major sites, and often run by operators who log or resell your traffic. For anything work-related, a paid residential proxy is safer and far more reliable.
Is using a proxy in Mexico legal?
Proxies are a standard tool for price monitoring, SEO and ad verification in Mexico. What matters is how you use them: respect websites’ terms of service, and follow the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (in force since March 2025) whenever you collect personal data.
