Two ways to get an Algerian IP address
Rotating residential
Every request leaves through an Algerian proxy server on a real Algérie Télécom home line in 41 wilayas and 51 cities and districts. Best for classifieds scraping, price monitoring and SERP tracking.
- Region, city, ZIP, ISP and ASN targeting
- New IP per request or sticky sessions
- OS fingerprint targeting (Windows, macOS, Linux, Android)
- Pay as you go from 1 GB
Rotating mobile
Algeria mobile proxy IPs on Mobilis, Djezzy and Ooredoo in 18 wilayas, with city targeting in 8 cities including Algiers, Oran and Constantine. Best for social media, app testing and strict anti-bot systems.
- Region, city, ZIP, carrier and ASN targeting
- OS fingerprint targeting
- Rotate on demand or keep a sticky session
Need the same IP for weeks at a time? Static residential proxies are not offered in Algeria. The nearest static locations are across the Mediterranean in France, Spain and Italy, or use sticky sessions to hold the same Algerian IP on residential or mobile. Datacenter IPs are not available in Algeria at the moment.
Algeria at a glance
Why a local IP changes what you see
Search results, classifieds, telecom offers and ads in Algeria all depend on where a request comes from. A visitor in Algiers sees prices in dinars and pages in Arabic or French; a foreign server often gets a generic version, or a captcha.
Algeria is also a phone-first market. The telecom regulator ARPCE counts 53.6 million mobile internet subscriptions against 6.8 million fixed internet lines. A Mobilis, Djezzy or Ooredoo phone, or an Algérie Télécom fibre line, looks like an ordinary Algerian customer; data-centre traffic is far more likely to be flagged as a bot.
| Fact | Figure | Why it matters for proxy work |
|---|---|---|
| Population | 46.7 million (1 January 2024, ONS estimate) | The audience is spread across many cities; our coverage runs from Algiers and Oran to Constantine, Annaba and Sétif. |
| Wilayas (provinces) | 69 since Law 26-06 of April 2026, up from 58 | Region targeting follows the earlier 58-wilaya map; 41 of those wilayas can be selected today. |
| Currency | Algerian dinar (DZD), issued by the Bank of Algeria | Collect prices and car values in dinars, as Algerian buyers see them. |
| Languages | Arabic and Tamazight are the national and official languages; the three mobile operators’ websites run in Arabic and French | Check both language versions from a local IP. |
| Mobile networks | Mobilis about 42%, Djezzy about 32% and Ooredoo about 26% of 55.94 million mobile subscriptions (third quarter of 2025) | All three networks are in our mobile pool. |
| Internet | 53.64 million mobile internet subscriptions (50.10 million on 4G) and 6.82 million fixed: 2.57 million fibre, 2.20 million ADSL, 2.05 million fixed 4G LTE (third quarter of 2025) | Most Algerians go online by phone; home lines are growing fastest on fibre. |

What our Algeria proxy servers actually reach
Read from the live API, not a brochure
Here is exactly what you can target today, whether you run one proxy Algeria-wide or pin a session to a single city and network, from the same API our dashboard uses.
41 wilayas you can target
Grouped from the centre to the west, the east and the south, on the 58-wilaya map in use before 2026. Thirty-two have city targeting; Aïn Defla, Aïn Témouchent, Béchar, Bouira, El M’Ghair, Ouled Djellal, Saïda, Tébessa and Tissemsilt can be targeted at wilaya level only.
51 targetable cities and districts
Grouped by wilaya in the same order. Bab Ezzouar, Kouba, Birkhadem, Bordj El Kiffan, Rouiba and Aïn Taya are communes of greater Algiers, so you can target parts of the capital as well as the whole city.
Algeria mobile proxy carriers
All three national mobile networks are in our mobile pool: Mobilis (Algérie Télécom Mobile), Djezzy (Optimum Télécom Algérie) and Ooredoo (Wataniya Télécom Algérie). The carrier filter also lists Algérie Télécom, the fixed-line sister company of Mobilis. Mobile IPs can be targeted in 18 wilayas and 8 cities: Algiers, Oran, Constantine, Annaba, Sétif, Djelfa, M’Sila and Guelma, which is on the mobile pool only.
Algerian fixed-line ISPs
Residential IPs come from Algérie Télécom, the operator behind Idoom home internet, which supplies the regulator’s count of all 6.82 million fixed internet subscriptions on ADSL, fibre and fixed 4G LTE. A residential session on its network looks like an ordinary Algerian household.
Honest counts, real addresses. One home ISP and 51 cities and districts will not suit a job that needs every small town. They do cover the main cities of the north, the high plateaux and the southern oases, and all three mobile networks.

Free Algeria proxy lists vs paid Algerian proxies
Why free lists rarely work on Algerian sites
Search for a free proxy Algeria list and you will find some, but most entries are open servers shared by thousands of people; they go offline within hours, are often not in Algeria at all and are blacklisted by the sites you want to reach. A $1.97 trial costs less than the time lost on dead IPs.
| Free Algeria proxy lists | ProxyEmpire Algerian proxies | |
|---|---|---|
| IP source | Open or hijacked servers, mostly data centres | Real Algerian homes and Mobilis, Djezzy and Ooredoo SIM cards |
| Uptime | Minutes to hours before an IP disappears | Always-on pool, with rotating or sticky sessions |
| Blocks | Usually blacklisted on major sites | Looks like an ordinary local visitor |
| Targeting | Country at best | Region, city, ZIP, ISP, ASN and OS fingerprint |
| Security | Unknown operator can log or alter your traffic | Authenticated access over HTTP(S) or SOCKS5 |
| Cost | Free | From $1.50/GB, with a $1.97 trial |

Algeria proxy FAQ
Straight answers
What is an Algerian proxy server (DZ proxy)?
An Algerian proxy is an Algeria proxy server that gives you an Algerian IP address, so websites treat you as a visitor from Algeria. An Algeria residential proxy goes one step further: it routes your traffic through a real household connection on Algérie Télécom instead of a data centre, which makes it far less likely to be blocked.
Can I target specific wilayas, cities or ISPs?
Yes. You can target 41 wilayas, 51 cities and districts from Oran and Tlemcen to Constantine and Annaba, and the Algérie Télécom network. Residential and mobile proxies can also be targeted by ZIP code, ASN and OS fingerprint at no extra charge.
Do you offer Algeria mobile proxies?
Yes, on Mobilis, Djezzy and Ooredoo, all three mobile networks in Algeria, in 18 wilayas with city targeting in 8 cities. Mobile IPs are shared by many real subscribers, which makes them hard for websites to block.
Do you have Algerian datacenter or static IPs?
Not at the moment. Datacenter and static residential proxies are not offered with Algerian IPs. For a long-lived Algerian IP, use a sticky session on residential or mobile; the nearest static locations are France, Spain and Italy.
How much do Algeria proxies cost?
Rotating residential costs $3.50 for 1 GB on Pay As You Go and as little as $1.50/GB on larger plans; rotating mobile costs $4.50 for 1 GB, down to $2.00/GB. Algerian targeting is included, and you can start with a $1.97 trial.
Can I keep the same Algerian IP?
Yes. Rotating residential and mobile proxies both support sticky sessions, which hold the same Algerian IP across requests instead of switching on every request.
Do the proxies work on French and Arabic sites?
Yes. Many Algerian sites run in both Arabic and French, and French speakers often search for a “proxy Algérie”. An Algerian IP gets you the same local version a visitor in Algiers or Oran sees, in either language.
Is there a free Algeria proxy that works?
For a one-off look at a page, a free Algeria proxy sometimes works. For regular work, no: free entries are slow, often flagged, may not be in Algeria at all and may log or resell your traffic.
Is using a proxy in Algeria legal?
Proxies are a standard tool for price monitoring, SEO and ad verification. What matters is how you use them: respect websites’ terms of service, and follow Algeria’s personal data law (Law 18-07 of 10 June 2018) whenever you collect personal data.
