Real Malagasy IPs on Yas and Orange networks
Malagasy proxies on real home and mobile connections from Yas (formerly Telma) and Orange Madagascar. Our Madagascar proxies give you a genuine Madagascar IP address with rotating or sticky sessions, over HTTP(S) or SOCKS5. Start with a $1.97 trial, then pay as you go from 1 GB.
Priced per GB, not per IP: residential from $1.50/GB, mobile from $2.00/GB. Unused bandwidth rolls over.
Choose your Madagascar proxy type
Two ways to get a Madagascar IP address
Rotating residential
A Malagasy proxy server on real home and fibre lines from Yas (Telma) and Orange Madagascar. Best for classifieds scraping, price monitoring and SERP tracking on Malagasy sites.
- Country, ISP and ASN targeting
- New IP per request or sticky sessions
- OS fingerprint targeting (Windows, macOS, Linux, Android)
- Pay as you go from 1 GB
Rotating mobile
Madagascar mobile proxy IPs on Yas (Telma) and Orange, two of the island’s three mobile networks. Best for social media, app testing and strict anti-bot systems.
- Country, carrier and ASN targeting
- OS fingerprint targeting
- Rotate on demand or keep a sticky session
Need the same IP for weeks at a time? Static residential proxies are not offered in Madagascar; use a sticky session to hold the same Malagasy IP on residential or mobile. Datacenter IPs are not available in Madagascar at the moment.
Madagascar at a glance
Why a local IP changes what you see
Search results, classified ads, telecom offers and the ads on Malagasy news sites all depend on where a request comes from. A visitor in Madagascar sees local pages in French or Malagasy with prices in ariary; a request from a foreign server often gets a generic version, a different price, or no page at all.
That is why a real local connection matters. A request from a Malagasy home line or phone looks like an ordinary customer of Yas or Orange, while traffic from a data centre abroad is far more likely to be flagged as a bot.
| Fact | Figure | Why it matters for proxy work |
|---|---|---|
| Population | 30.8 million (INSTAT figure for 2024); 25.7 million at the 2018 census | A large and growing audience that local sites, shops and advertisers serve in French and Malagasy. |
| Capital | Antananarivo | Antananarivo cannot be selected as a city; our Malagasy IPs are chosen at country level. |
| Administrative units | 24 regions; the newest, Ambatosoa (Maroantsetra and Mananara Nord districts), was created in 2023 | Region targeting is not available in Madagascar yet, so every session is a country-wide Malagasy IP. |
| Currency | Malagasy ariary (MGA, Ar), issued by Banky Foiben’i Madagasikara | Malagasy shops and classifieds quote prices in ariary, so collect them from the local version of a site. |
| Languages | Malagasy is the national language; Malagasy and French are the official languages | Sites, ads and searches come in both languages; “proxy Madagascar” is the same search in French and English. |
| Mobile networks | Yas (Telma until November 2024), Orange Madagascar and Airtel Madagascar | Yas and Orange are in our mobile pool; Airtel is not. |
| Mobile coverage | 4G reached 80% of the population in 2024, 3G 98% | Mobile data is widely available, so a mobile IP on Yas or Orange looks like everyday local traffic. |
| Country domain | .mg | Local sites such as lexpress.mg and asako.mg serve their Malagasy audience from .mg addresses. |

What our Madagascar proxy coverage actually reaches
Read from the live API, not a brochure
Here is exactly what you can target in Madagascar today, taken from the same API our dashboard uses. It suits country-level work, not jobs that must be pinned to one town.
Location: country-wide, with no region or city filter yet
The API returns no selectable regions and no selectable cities for Madagascar, on residential or on mobile: 0 of the country’s 24 regions, and no cities such as Antananarivo, Toamasina, Antsirabe, Mahajanga or Fianarantsoa. Every session is a Madagascar IP chosen at country level, and you cannot choose which part of the island it comes from. If your task needs results for one city, test first with the $1.97 trial.
Madagascar mobile proxy carriers
Two of Madagascar’s three mobile networks are in our pool: Yas, the operator known as Telma until its November 2024 rebrand, and Orange Madagascar. Airtel Madagascar, the third network, is not in the API and cannot be targeted.
Malagasy ISPs in the residential pool
Residential IPs come from the same two operators’ home internet services: Yas, which sells fibre home internet (the API still lists it under the company name Telecom Malagasy), and Orange Madagascar, which sells home internet packages. You can pick either one with ISP targeting, or leave it open and draw on both.
Honest counts, real addresses. Two networks and country-level targeting will not suit a job that needs IPs spread across named regions or cities. They do give you genuine Malagasy residential and mobile IPs on two of Madagascar’s three mobile operators, which is what most price, search and ad checks need.
What teams use Malagasy proxies for
Common workloads on our Malagasy network
Classifieds & price monitoring
Collect listings from CoinAfrique Madagascar and annonces.mg to follow used-car prices, rents and household goods in ariary, exactly as local buyers see them.
Local SEO & SERP tracking
Check Google rankings, local results and ads in French and in Malagasy as a searcher in Madagascar sees them, instead of a result set served to a foreign IP.
Jobs & labour-market data
Follow hiring demand, job titles and sectors on Malagasy job boards such as Asako, as local job seekers see the listings.
Telecom offers
Track data bundles, fibre plans and promotions on the Yas, Orange and Airtel websites as a customer in Madagascar sees them.
Ad verification on news sites
Confirm that campaigns aimed at Madagascar appear in the right placements, for example on news sites such as L’Express de Madagascar and NewsMada, and that French landing pages display correctly.
Apps, social & browser profiles
Test mobile apps and manage social accounts from Yas or Orange IPs, or give each anti-detect browser profile its own Madagascar IP address so manual checks look local.

Cheap to start — all Malagasy targeting included

ISP, carrier, ASN and OS fingerprint targeting cost nothing extra, and unused bandwidth rolls over.

Free Madagascar proxy lists vs paid Malagasy proxies
Why free lists rarely work on Malagasy sites
Search for a Madagascar free proxy and you will find a handful of entries at best. Most are open servers already used by thousands of people; they go offline within hours, are often registered somewhere else entirely and are blocked by the sites you want to reach. A list that offers a Madagascar proxy free of charge costs nothing, but a $1.97 trial of real Malagasy IPs usually costs less than the time lost on dead proxies.
| Free Madagascar proxy lists | ProxyEmpire Malagasy proxies | |
|---|---|---|
| IP source | Open or hijacked servers, mostly data centres | Real Malagasy homes and Yas and Orange SIM cards |
| Uptime | Minutes to hours before an IP disappears | Always-on pool, with rotating or sticky sessions |
| Blocks | Usually blacklisted on major sites | Looks like an ordinary local visitor |
| Targeting | Country at best, and often wrong | Country, ISP, carrier, ASN and OS fingerprint |
| Security | Unknown operator can log or alter your traffic | Authenticated access over HTTP(S) or SOCKS5 |
| Cost | Free | From $1.50/GB, with a $1.97 trial |

Madagascar proxy FAQ
Straight answers
What is a Malagasy proxy server (MG proxy)?
A Malagasy proxy server, or Madagascar proxy, gives you a Madagascar IP address, so websites treat you as a visitor from Madagascar. A Madagascar residential proxy goes one step further: it routes your traffic through a real home or mobile connection on Yas (Telma) or Orange instead of a data centre, which makes it far less likely to be blocked.
Is there a free Madagascar proxy that works?
For a one-off look at a page, a free proxy sometimes works. For anything regular, rarely: free lists for Madagascar are short, the entries are slow and often already flagged, and many turn out not to be in Madagascar at all. Before trusting one, look up the IP’s location and network, and never send logins or personal data through it, since the operator can read or change your traffic. If you need to know whether real Malagasy IPs will work on your target site, the $1.97 trial is the cheapest honest test.
How do I get a Madagascar IP address (a “Mada IP”)?
Create an account, set the country to Madagascar (MG) and use the generated endpoint in your browser or tool. Every request then leaves from a Malagasy IP on Yas or Orange. If you searched for a “Mada IP”, this is what it gets you: sites exactly as they look from Madagascar.
Can I target specific regions, cities or ISPs in Madagascar?
ISPs yes, locations not yet. You can choose Yas (Telma) or Orange Madagascar, and target by ASN and OS fingerprint, at no extra charge. Region and city targeting are not available for Madagascar today, so Antananarivo or Toamasina cannot be selected on their own.
Do you offer Madagascar mobile proxies?
Yes, on Yas (Telma) and Orange, two of the country’s three mobile networks; Airtel Madagascar is not available. Mobile IPs are shared by many real subscribers, which makes them among the hardest IPs for websites to block.
Do you have Malagasy datacenter or static IPs?
Not at the moment. Datacenter and static residential proxies are not offered with Malagasy IPs. For a long-lived Madagascar IP, use a sticky session on residential or mobile.
How much do Madagascar proxies cost?
Rotating residential costs $3.50 for 1 GB on Pay As You Go and as little as $1.50/GB on larger plans; rotating mobile costs $4.50 for 1 GB, down to $2.00/GB. Prices are in US dollars, per GB rather than per IP, and Malagasy targeting is included. You can start with a $1.97 trial.
Can I keep the same Madagascar IP?
Yes. Rotating residential and mobile proxies both support sticky sessions, which hold the same Malagasy IP across requests instead of switching on every request.
Do the proxies work on French and Malagasy sites?
Yes. French and Malagasy are Madagascar’s official languages, and French speakers search for a “proxy Madagascar” just as English speakers do. A Malagasy IP gets you the same local version a visitor on the island sees, over HTTP, HTTPS or SOCKS5.
Is using a proxy in Madagascar legal?
Proxies are a standard tool for price monitoring, SEO and ad verification. What matters is how you use them: respect websites’ terms of service, and follow Madagascar’s personal data law (Law No. 2014-038 on the protection of personal data) whenever you collect personal data.
