Real Zambian IPs on Airtel, MTN and Zamtel
Zambian proxies on all three mobile networks, Airtel, MTN and Zamtel, and on residential connections in Lusaka, Kitwe and Ndola. Our Zambia proxies give you a genuine Zambia IP address in eight of the ten provinces on mobile and four on residential, with rotating or sticky sessions.
Priced per GB, not per IP: residential from $1.50/GB, mobile from $2.00/GB. Unused bandwidth rolls over.

Two ways to get a Zambia IP address
Rotating residential
Residential IPs in Lusaka, Kitwe and Ndola on six networks, including Zamtel, Liquid, Paratus and AirLink, through a single Zambia proxy server endpoint. Best for price monitoring, SERP tracking and data collection from Zambian sites.
- Province, city, ZIP, ISP and ASN targeting
- New IP per request or sticky sessions
- OS fingerprint targeting (Windows, macOS, Linux, Android)
- Pay as you go from 1 GB
Rotating mobile
Zambia mobile proxy IPs on Airtel, MTN and Zamtel, in eight provinces and in Lusaka, Kitwe and Ndola. Best for social media, app testing and strict anti-bot systems.
- Province, city, ZIP, carrier and ASN targeting
- OS fingerprint targeting
- Rotate on demand or keep a sticky session
Need the same IP for weeks at a time? Static residential proxies are not offered in Zambia; use a sticky session to hold the same Zambian IP on residential or mobile. Datacenter IPs are not available in Zambia at the moment.
Zambia at a glance
Why a local IP changes what you see
Search results, data bundles, job listings and the ads shown on Zambian websites all depend on where a request comes from. Most Zambian sites are in English, so language rarely gives a visitor away; the IP address does. A visitor in Lusaka sees local offers and prices in kwacha, while a request from a foreign server often gets an international version of the page, or is blocked outright.
Lusaka and the Copperbelt are Zambia’s two most populous provinces, together home to almost three in ten Zambians at the 2022 census. A request from a Zambian home or phone in those places looks like an ordinary customer, while data-centre traffic is far more likely to be flagged or served a different page.
| Fact | Figure | Why it matters for proxy work |
|---|---|---|
| Population | 19.69 million at the 2022 census, 44.7% of them in urban areas | A young market, with almost half of Zambians under 18 in 2022; province and city targeting let you focus on the places you care about. |
| Provinces | Ten; Lusaka (3.09 million people) and Copperbelt (2.77 million) are the most populous | Mobile IPs cover eight provinces, home to 87% of Zambians; residential IPs cover Lusaka, Copperbelt, Central and Northern. |
| Currency | Zambian kwacha (ZMW, K), divided into 100 ngwee | Domestic transactions are settled in kwacha, so Zambian shops and operators quote kwacha prices; collect them from the local version of a site. |
| Official language | English | Most Zambian sites are in English, so the IP address, not the language, decides which version of a page you get. |
| Mobile networks | Airtel, MTN and Zamtel | All three are in our mobile pool; Zamtel also appears as a residential internet provider. |

What our Zambia proxy coverage actually reaches
Read from the live API, not a brochure
Whether you run one proxy Zambia-wide or pin a session to a province, city or network, here is exactly what you can target today, taken from the same API our dashboard uses. Mobile and residential reach different parts of the country, so we list them separately.
8 of Zambia’s 10 provinces on mobile, 4 on residential
Residential IPs can be targeted in four provinces:
Mobile IPs can be targeted in eight provinces:
Together that is nine of the ten provinces. The eight mobile provinces were home to 87% of Zambians at the 2022 census, and the four residential provinces to just under half. Northern is available on residential only. Muchinga is not selectable as a region on either product today, and we do not list it as covered. A country-level session draws on the whole Zambian pool.
3 targetable cities
Every city the API returns for Zambia: the capital, Lusaka, and the Copperbelt cities of Kitwe and Ndola. The same three cities can be targeted on mobile. Central and Northern provinces have no city of their own in the API, so sessions there are set at province level; other towns cannot be targeted as cities today.
Zambia mobile proxy carriers
Zambia has three mobile networks in service, Airtel, MTN and Zamtel, and all three are in our mobile pool. You can pick the carrier your audience actually uses, or let sessions rotate across all three to run mobile proxies Zambia-wide. Mobile IPs can also be pinned to Lusaka, Kitwe or Ndola, or to any of the eight provinces listed above.
Zambian ISPs in the residential pool
Residential IPs come from six networks: Zamtel, which runs both fixed and mobile services; Liquid Intelligent Technologies, which the API lists under both its current name and its former name, Liquid Telecom; Paratus Zambia; the broadband provider AirLink; CityChannel; and Starlink satellite internet. All six can be targeted in Lusaka. In the Copperbelt, Kitwe has Liquid and Ndola has AirLink.
Honest counts, real addresses. Three cities and six residential networks will not suit a job that needs home IPs spread across every district. They do cover the capital and the Copperbelt, and mobile IPs on all three networks reach the eight provinces where 87% of Zambians live.

Confirm that campaigns aimed at Zambia appear in the right placements on Zambian news and media sites, and that landing pages load properly on local mobile networks.
Jobs & labour-market data
Follow hiring demand, job titles and salaries on Zambian job boards such as Go Zambia Jobs, city by city, as local job seekers see them.

Test sign-up, top-up and in-app flows as a subscriber on Airtel, MTN or Zamtel sees them, including offers and screens that differ by network.
Price monitoring & retail
Collect prices, promotions and stock from Zambian retail sites such as Shoprite Zambia’s and from local classifieds, in kwacha and from the city the buyer is in.

Free Zambia proxy lists vs paid Zambian proxies
Why free lists rarely work on Zambian sites
Search for a free Zambia proxy list and you will find a handful of entries at best. Most are open servers already used by thousands of people; they go offline within hours, are often not in Zambia at all and are blocked by the sites and apps you want to reach. A $1.97 trial of real Zambian IPs costs less than the time lost on dead proxies.
| Free Zambia proxy lists | ProxyEmpire Zambian proxies | |
|---|---|---|
| IP source | Open or hijacked servers, mostly data centres | Real Zambian homes and Airtel, MTN and Zamtel SIM cards |
| Uptime | Minutes to hours before an IP disappears | Always-on pool, with rotating or sticky sessions |
| Blocks | Usually blacklisted on major sites | Looks like an ordinary local visitor |
| Targeting | Country at best | Province, city, ZIP, ISP, carrier, ASN and OS fingerprint |
| Security | Unknown operator can log or alter your traffic | Authenticated access over HTTP(S) or SOCKS5 |
| Cost | Free | From $1.50/GB, with a $1.97 trial |

Zambia proxy FAQ
Straight answers
What is a Zambian proxy (ZM proxy)?
A Zambian proxy, or Zambia proxy server, gives you a Zambia IP address, so websites treat you as a visitor from Zambia. A residential or mobile Zambian proxy server goes one step further: it routes your traffic through a real connection on Airtel, MTN, Zamtel or a local internet provider instead of a data centre, which makes it far less likely to be blocked.
How do I get a Zambia IP address?
Start the $1.97 trial, set the country to Zambia in the dashboard and connect your tool to the endpoint it generates. Every request then leaves from a Zambian residential or mobile IP. You can narrow it down to a province, to Lusaka, Kitwe or Ndola, or to a specific network.
Can I target specific provinces, cities or ISPs in Zambia?
Yes. Mobile IPs can be targeted in eight provinces and residential IPs in four, and both work in Lusaka, Kitwe and Ndola. You can also choose one of six residential ISPs or one of the three mobile carriers, and target by ZIP code, ASN and OS fingerprint, at no extra charge. Muchinga is not available as a region today.
Do you offer Zambia mobile proxies?
Yes, on all three networks: Airtel, MTN and Zamtel. Mobile IPs are shared by many real subscribers, which makes them among the hardest IPs for websites to block, and they cover more of the country than residential IPs do.
Do you have Zambian datacenter or static IPs?
Not at the moment. Datacenter and static residential proxies are not offered with Zambian IPs. For a long-lived Zambia IP address, use a sticky session on residential or mobile.
How much do Zambia proxies cost?
Rotating residential costs $3.50 for 1 GB on Pay As You Go and as little as $1.50/GB on larger plans; rotating mobile costs $4.50 for 1 GB, down to $2.00/GB. Plans are billed in US dollars, per GB rather than per IP, and Zambian targeting is included. You can start with a $1.97 trial.
Can I keep the same Zambia IP address?
Yes. Rotating residential and mobile proxies both support sticky sessions, which hold the same Zambian IP across requests instead of switching on every request.
Is there a free Zambia proxy that works?
For a one-off look at a page, a free proxy sometimes works. For regular work, no: free lists for Zambia are short, the entries are slow, often flagged and may not be in Zambia at all, and their operators may log or resell your traffic. There is no way to choose the city or network.
Is using a proxy in Zambia legal?
Proxies are a standard tool for price monitoring, SEO and ad verification. What matters is how you use them: respect websites’ terms of service, and follow Zambia’s Data Protection Act No. 3 of 2021 whenever you collect personal data.
